These gloves were a godsend this winter (and spring in Pennsylvania!), and I could not be more relieved that I had warm, waterproof gloves in the harsh weather. For years I made do with inadequate gloves for winter activities (read: 95% shoveling snow) that were either not warm enough, or not waterproof. More often than not I'd end up with cold, soggy hands after 30 minutes or so. This year I decided enough was enough, and even though these Carhartt gloves were a little more expensive than I would normally spend, it was definitely worth it. The sizing is just right for my large-ish hands, and the extended cuff was great for protecting my wrists from the cold. I never had a problem with my fingers feeling cold, never once felt wet, and still had good enough dexterity to be able to shovel, throw snow balls at my daughter, and pull her sled around in the snow. I will point out that what seems like a minor annoyance at first actually becomes a much appreciated feature: when i first tired the gloves on, the first glove went on fine since my other hand was still free. Putting the second glove on was more difficult, as I had a little time getting a good grip with the gloved hand to be able to slide my other hand inside. After a while I got the hang of it, and was in fact glad of the snug fit since it kept blowing snow and moisture from getting into the glove.

These are probably the best winter gloves I've ever purchased. They are nice and long, extending to cover your entire wrist (and up your forearm a bit) to keep snow and other debris out. They seem totally waterproof so far, and they are nice and warm too. As with most Carhartt gear, these gloves aren't exactly form-fitting of course. Manipulating small dials or knobs will be a bit of a challenge, but most wintery tasks like starting a snowblower, shoveling, and clearing your car are totally doable with these gloves.

These gloves are excellent they are warm against cold windy days they have a tight fit and also I like the side hook attachment so I can hook the gloves together makes it easier not to lose one glove I highly recommend these gloves.

I bought these for my husband who stands outside for 12 hours a day. He's an assistant manager at an inspection station any needed something warm for his hands. I immediately ordered these based on the reviews. And true to word they are very warm. He says they stay warm and dry all day long, but they are useless when it comes to any type of manual dexterity. He has to take them off and on at work but is still grateful to have them, always close by so when he's done with whatever task he's up to he can slip these right back on. They would be great for shoveling snow or sledding though. They are water repellant, he hasn't gotten them soaked. I did wash them but did not put them in the dryer and they're still in great shape. That's why they get 5 stars.

I love this gloves... they keep me warm, block the wind, nice grip, definitely not working gloves (too bulky), but perfect to protect from the cold while driving, walking, or being outside. They don't let water in easily, if you soak in water eventually the water will find its way in duh!... but your hand wont get wet or cold just because the glove got wet, and that is awesome. I still have my first pair, 5 years of real heavy duty, heavy use, and they are still going, i still use them, and they look like new except the "nose wiping" fabric on top of the thumbs, that is fading a bit (which in my opinion have lasted way beyond I could have imagined)... I used them all the time (during winter of course, about 5 months of cold weather)... I have bought several to gift to family members...

I bought these for my daughters and my husband. I live in Alaska and I would highly recommend these. They’re really soft and warm inside and tuff and durable on the outside. They aren’t stiff at all. Very flexible materials and they hold up to Alaska’s winters better than any other gloves I ever bought for my family. I ordered the smalls for my 8, 11 & 12 year olds. They were a big on my 8 year old, but they got the job done. And I bought the large for my husband, they fit, but I’m going to order another pair in extra large for him since they’re not his true size. Extremely warm and comfortable. I would highly recommend buying these.

My husband wanted waterproof gloves, so I got these. They fit well and he could move his fingers with them on. We recently had our first snow, so he got to try them out. When he came out of work- his car was covered in snow and he said he had a great time just using his gloves to knock and push snow off of the car, lol. His hands didn't get cold or wet- so these are a winner for us :)

Carhartt makes the best winter coats and winter hoods. I gave Carhartt gloves a scathing review, however it dawned on me that I kept taking my gloves off to do work in the snow, then blamed Carhartt gloves for not keeping my hands warm. If you keep your gloves on they will keep your hands warm, my apologies to Carhatt.

Amazing! My fingers are usually cold even with other regular gloves. These kept my fingers toasty in snowy weather! They are for men but I still got them in size Small. Tightening buckle works great for extra fit. They are a little bulky but I don't care what they look like cuz my hands are so comfy while I'm out with my boys playing in the snow!

Measurements may be a tad off - or I messed up. I measured my hands width at the widest point which fell in the "Small" size for these gloves. So I bought the small but my hands have trouble getting into the gloves. It's stitched around the wrist and that hole is a tad too small. I have to do some maneuvering to get my hand in and it's hard to hold the second glove to get my hand in when my first hand has the other glove on. That being said... The soft material inside the glove is HEAVENLY. So soft, so smooth. I was worried some rouge clothing tag inside would bother me but there is none. And the outtershell is seemingly inpenatrable for water. The gloves are incredibly warm. There is nice grip on the palm side. The physical design (I got the all black version) looks really cool. My only issue is the sizing. The length of the fingers are also just a tad short. Maybe the medium would have fit better. They are pretty puffy, these gloves. Not sure how much bigger the "Medium" size would be. But other than that they are soft as all get out inside, super warm.
