Great supplement to your dog's oral health routine

My dog has spectacular teeth due to the fact that his teeth get brushed twice a week since we adopted him 3 years ago. However his breath was a lil stinky. These are great to help with bad breath. I would never recommend that you use the instead of brushing. A dog's oral health is so critical to his overall health, and brushing their teeth is as necessary as people brushing their teeth. These are great for in between brushes.

Effective tarter control!

I give my 7lbs chihuahua one of these every morning. We just went to the vet, and she marveled at how clean his teeth were. The vet actually wanted to know what I was doing to keep his teeth so clean. The visit prior it looked like he needed a professional cleaning- not anymore! I could also tell a difference in his breath when he was staying with my family for a week and did not receive the treats. Highly recommend these for everyday use to keep your dogs mouth healthy and prevent costly dental work down the line!

This WORKS.

I have a dachshund, a breed notorious for bad teeth and stinky breath, and my girl is no exception. She's had two dental cleanings at the vet and a number of extractions, and despite trying several products and brushing her teeth I saw the plaque and tartar building up again. I found this on Amazon and gave it a try. It took some time - it took a month for her breath to start smelling better, and two before I looked at her teeth and noticed a big reduction in tartar. Now her teeth look nearly clean, her gums are pink, and her breath doesn't smell like death. You may have tp pay a little more for these, but they WORK.

Healthy ingredients and actually does help bad breath!

These chews have quickly outshone every other dental chews my dogs have - and my spoiled pups have quite a variety! I love the ingredients in these chews - especially the chlorophyll. Dogs love chlorophyll (which is why they love to chew grass!) and it has many beneficial qualities. While my dogs love these, I might love them even more because they actually DO help with my dogs' bad breath. Both my dogs are older and in their older age have developed not-so-good breath - these are the first and only dental treats that have actually worked as advertised to help keep their breath (mostly) at bay. Do keep in mind my dogs have no major dental issues which does play a part in breath issues. These dental chews are also wheat AND potato-free: that's a big deal to me because my dogs have grain allergies and the majority of dental chews are potato based which causes weight gain. On top of all these benefits these dental chews are also made in the USA. No fear of contamination like in many other chews that come from China.

Dash loves these & they work!

My dog loves these, and they really do work. Dash, my dog, is terrible about having his teeth brushed despite my best efforts to acclimate him to the process. Yes, I've tried all manner of dog and infant toothbrushes, doggie toothpastes, training techniques and patience to no avail. His vet remarked on how much better his teeth are and wanted to know what I'd done to change his mind as she has experienced his fits, too. She is quite pleased with Dash's teeth now. The chews make both of our lives easier, and I normally don't go in for "easy" because it normally means something important is omitted/done poorly. Not this time!

Great Product

Love this product! Small enough for my toy chihuahua to chew! Served double purpose as a treat to work on tricks and to help oral hygiene! Only used for two days (4 chews total) and her Breath went from intolerable to tolerable.She was given to me when a friend could no longer care for her. I won't let her kiss me yet, but we are on the way! I used this in conjunction with the Nylabone Liquid Tarter Remover.

Great Dental Treat Loved By Both Dogs

These are by far my favorite dental treat for the dogs. I have tried numerous other brands - including some that you could name just by reading "numerous other brands" - and this one seems to be so much better. I give the small ones to my Brussels Griffon puppy and the larger ones to my Schnoodle. They snack on them in a way that you can see how well they work to remove target and provide great oral health. They actually smell really good too, but not to the point where I intend on replacing my own brushing habits. :) In all seriousness, the dogs love them and when my Schnoodle received an A+ report card on his teeth and gums during his annual vest visit, I chalked it up to these Breathless Toothpaste treats!

My dog loves them - and they work!

I don't know what they flavor these things with, but my dog goes nuts when he sees me reaching for them. And they really do WORK. If I give him one a day his breath is noticeably better. I hate it when I run out. One tip: I followed the idea on the back of the bag and keep them in the freezer. Otherwise my dog just wolfs them down and doesn't have them in his mouth long enough to do much good. If your dog is a fast chomper, consider trying that.

My Dogs Love These

I used to buy these from a local pet store, but started buying from Amazon, because they are a bit cheaper and I can subscribe and get automatic shipments. I have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I get the medium size and cut them in half. They each get one half per day. Both of my dogs love these. I am enclosing pictures of thier teeth. They both have a tiny bit of tartar on thier back molar, but overall look pretty good. They do not have smelly breath and this product doesn't stink like some other similar products.
