Good quality brand and wont fail you
Third time I have bought this brand of side step. Of course the learning curve has kicked in. Took me about 30 minutes to install. Follow the directions on placement. It works out very well. (Middle of the step lines up with the front edge of the seat frame). Comes with kit for different model trucks but for the Dodge trucks its very easy. Don't need any of the adapters. I trust this brand because they have never failed.

Truck Step Review
These worked out very well. Truck had paint rubbed off from where PO's were dragging their feet across the rocker panel that had removed paint on its edge and the seat's seam was split on its left side from drivers sliding out of the truck. These steps will help eliminate this as the driver can now lift themselves up to enter the truck from either side. The truck has a grab handle on the passenger side but not on the driver's side so one has to us the steering wheel to pull up into cab. I was little concerned with how these attach to the bottom of the truck as it uses only one sheet metal screw for the top hole but a pretty good attachment at the bottom into the pinch weld area with a bolt. We had the local upholstery shop fix the seat and install the steps and I asked if they could use riv-nuts vs. the sheet metal screw which would make for a better attachment. But it seems to be working fine and it's very sturdy.

Great step for making getting in and out of your truck a whole lot easier.
Had to buy these as a replacement part for a broken set on a vehicle. Vehicle was accidentally lifted incorrectly, causing a weak spot allowing for the previous step to break. These steps are extremely sturdy and easy to mount. Installation only took a few minutes, however there were already steps installed so no guess work was involved. The face of the step is heavily textured, allowing for a very positive friction surface that won't slip when wet or snowy. This is for a set, two will be included with purchase. If you are looking for an easy, non flashy step that doesn't take up too much space then this is it.

Great deal, great fit.
These steps are a great deal. I got them extra cheap through warehouse deals because I planned to paint match them to the truck anyway. They fit perfectly to the rockers on my 2002 F150. There was drilling required but no major modifications or material removal was necessary. Paint prep was easy, I sanded with 100 grit all over. Next I sprayed a coat of epoxy primer followed by two coats of U-pol Multi-liner (to match the lower tone of the truck), these steps should outlast the truck.

Inexpensive and effective
These installed on my 2011 F-250 (Style “A” in the instructions). The powder coat was not perfect, however you have to keep in mind that these are very inexpensive, much more cost effective than running boards. I bought my truck used to save money, while I do not want to buy junk, the most expensive parts would be counter effective for me. If you have a new or very nice truck I would recommend buying something higher quality. Many people complained about the hardware being cheap, I used quarter 20 hardened stainless bolts and serrated washers for the bottom hole. Yes they are smaller than what was provided but they came from an elevator parts kit, very high quality fastenders. In order to keep the sheet metal screws from stripping out as many have also reported, it is very important to USE NUMBER 3 PHILLIPS and an IMPACT DRIVER- this will keep the bit from stripping out the head. Also drill a pilot hole for the screws.

Very pleased with product
I installed on a 2012 F150 regular cab. As stated in an earlier post, a template would have been nice for the larger holes. I could have easily made one but didn't. That resulted in drilling the larger holes a little off center. Easily made them work. For the small holes I used 1"self tapping screws, much easier than the ones provided. Don't forget the safety glasses, laying on your back, lots of metal shavings. Very pleased with the outcome. I chose polished to match the chrome bumpers & tool box, though the black would have been just as nice.

Not Plug and Play...
I installed these on a 2004 F250 Crew Cab. There are existing holes on the truck that make installation a little easier, but you will have to drill out a few more holes on your truck and drill out holes in the steps to mount these bad boys. Don't think for a second these things are "plug and play." However, if you're semi okay working around tools, this job is not too difficult and a bit fun. When the job's complete, you will wonder why it took you so long to get a set of these for your truck! They look awesome, they're sturdy, light weight, and they really give the truck a clean cut look. Not a bad price either. If you find them cheaper, jump on them!😜

Very nice addition to my Ford F1-50 standard cab
Ray Mills from Newnan Georgia. Very nice addition to my Ford F1-50 standard cab. These were exactly what I needed to help my wife get up into the truck. They mount easy and are made from very durable cast alluminum. You cant beat the price. I would recommend them for anyone looking for an economical cab step that is also very functional.

Value for the money!
Bought 2 pairs for my crew cab 1999 F350. Install was easy and looks clean. Had chrome nerf bars that were looking tired. Swapped out for these and so far so good. I feel like the bars make my lifted truck look lower, not so much with these steps, feels like a 4 inch lift added back on. Went with black on my white truck hoping they'd blend in more with undercarriage, asphalt and background, very happy with the result. Plus the kids are teens now and can manage these just fine and don't need the big bars to get in and out anymore.

Love em
Got three steps for my fiancé as a Christmas gift. And he loved them! Easy to install and they look great. They are sturdy as well as a great price for both. They did not come scratched like many said theirs arrived.. and they arrived really fast as well. Over all definitely recommend these bully steps!
