Works well

Can’t beat the price compared to other places and the spray can version. Bought a spray bottle from the dollar store to be able to spray items on a vehicle that can’t be soaked in the solution.

Works as intended.

Had a 500 piece socket set that a co worker left in the bed of a truck and got totally rusted. Able to soak these tools over night in this solution, and nearly all the rust came right off. I would 100% buy this again if needed.

WD-40 Rust Remover Soak

This product removes rust on tools and power tool blades and hand saws. Also Hand tools. All you need is a container to soak them in. Most products are rust preventives, but this is for already rusted tools. Nothing can restore the metal that is rusty, but this will rid the rust.

Dramatic results

I am very impressed by this product. I tested it out on a very rusty pair of Vice Grips. After a few hours, I almost can't believe it is the same tool. I wish I had taken before and after photos. You won't be disappointed. The rust is even gone in the threads and the jaw teeth. I am leaving it in the liquid over night per directions for heavy rusted items.

SUPERB PRODUCT

This product was used to remove a serious rust problem on a 1958 Ford tractor carburetor. It worked beyond all expectations, saving hundreds of dollars on potentially expensive and timing consuming locating and purchasing of a replacement carb. The carburetor has been rebuilt and runs flawlessly.

It does what it says it does. I’m still amazed. Definitely buying a stock pile of WD40 specialist

Handles the rust!

This stuff works really well. I had several tools that had become rusty. A pair of pliers in particular that had rusted pretty good. I put them in a container of this for a day and night. The next morning i took them out cleaned them with a wire brush and wiped them down. The rust was gone and the tools worked like new. Great product!
