Great Product, Great Price
I purchased the 60A continuous duty version of this for my auxillary battery installation on my pickup. This isolates my "house" battery from my engine battery when the ignition is turned off by opening the bridge circuit between them. When the ignition is turned on, it closes the circuit and allows my alternator to charge both batteries together. It is mounted with a couple 1/4" hex head bolts. Being a diesel mechanic, I come in contact with many Cole Hersee products and they are always of the utmost quality. I would recommend this brand highly.

Use to control rear 750 W inverter for my wife's oxygen concentrator on trips
My wife has a lung disease and is on 4 liters/min of oxygen 24/7. We still love to travel, but portable oxygen concentrators that use vehicle lighter outlet can only produce 2-3 liters/min - this often left her chest hurting and worse. We often drive 2000 miles in one week, so I had to come up with my own solution. We use a 750 watt Cen-Tech inverter to power a 120 VAC home oxygen concentrator in the back of our Dodge Journey, running off two 12 foot 2 gauge wires from the front. I use this solenoid up front to turn off the power to the inverter on and off with the ignition switch. Have used it for over a year with zero problems!

Good product so far.
Bought this to disconnect the battery on my travel trailer from the vehicle when not running. I installed it on the firewall and connected one side to the vehicle battery through a circuit breaker. The other side connects to the trailer harness. It's energized through the daylight running lights so it is only on when the vehicle is running. I've only had it installed for a few months and everything works fine so far. I have not used it with the trailer yet. You can hear it from the vehicle cab when it engages. It appears to be well made with robust terminals.

Quality, USA made, solenoid.
I bought this relay to mount under the hood of my tow vehicle and provide charging current to the trailer batteries that run an inverter to power an AC 110 volt Samsung residential fridge while on the road towing. I run the relay off my cigarette lighter circuit to energize the relay and the main power goes directly from alternator to one side of the solenoid while the other side is wired to the trailer towing circuit through a 200 amp rated winch connector. These wires both from the alternator and to the trailer and the corresponding wires in the trailer are all wired with #4 welding wire on both the +and - sides so my batteries are always charged. The Trailer batteries ( 6, 6 volt golf cart batteries stay charged while running the inverter in the trailer) which runs the residential fridge while on the road. So far, it’s been doing great. I will update after more miles roll the relay through it’s paces. I wanted a good quality USA made solenoid, that should last. My last tow vehicles Cole Hersee solenoid lasted 15 years. I hope this relay works like my old one did.

Good heavy duty solenoid contactor.
It does what it is suppose to do and connect / disconnect two circuits. It is larger than I expected, but I wanted the higher rated unit and I still managed to find enough space (3" x 3" to fit it next to the van battery which then supplies the charge for a utility battery inside the van. The unit has a strong pull and is loud when it switches. I can hear it clearly inside the van. It appears well built, and expect it will have a long service life.

I decided to try this heavy duty solenoid and it works great, it should last a long time
I just purchased a brand new 13hp walk behind mower, the brand i'll leave to your own imagination. After a few hours on the meter approx. 15, it wouldn't turn over just click, so I jumped the two heavy terminals on the starter solenoid and it started right up, this happened several times, I wasn't going to take it back because it would be winter before I saw it again. I decided to try this heavy duty solenoid and it works great, it should last a long time, I hope.

Very sturdy
Personally I'm using it to turn on a pump for a few minutes at a time and its worked just fine. I'm not sure how it would hold up if left on for long periods of time. But with maybe 5 minutes of use at a time it doesnr seem to get warm or anything like that.

Top shelf high current contactor.
This contactor doesn't rely on the mounting ears and body to provide a ground for the electromagnet. Simple, inexpensive, and it works. What more needs to be said. I used this as a starter Solenoid on my 52" Bunton commercial walk behind mower repower project.

Survived spot welding nickel tabs
I purchased this for spot welding nickel tabs onto lithium cells for a DIY electric bike battery. Not sure how much current was being used, but this held up for hundreds of cycles and should work for many more.

Great solenoid/relay for automotive circuits.
I have been using these solenoids as a relay, much more sturdy and reliable than a cheap offshore plastic relay. I use them to control radiator electric fans on two vehicles and for an electric fuel pump circuit on another vehicle. Very easy to wire with the threaded studs and the 24059 is coated steel, not sure if chrome or not but will not rust easily. It is rated at 85 amps continuous duty so can handle a lot of power . When you power this solenoid it makes a loud click so you know it is working. For more info read my comment on Mr. Evans review.
