This thing has straight up saved my ass so many times I can't even tell you. Got pulled over last night, and I was confident I was way under the limit thanks to this little device. So far I and others have used it over 30 times and it seems to give really accurate, consistent readings. A Dui costs around 5,000 and this thing is like 30... Totally worth it!

Works just as advertised. I've used it and compared it to bar-top models and to other, bulkier models, and it seems just as accurate as long as you don't abuse it. Lots of other reviews are saying "I used this thing three times and now it keeps returning .00 no matter what, this thing sucks". That's what will happen if you don't want the 15 minutes between drinking and testing. Surprise surprise, if you blow pure alcohol onto the sensors for alcohol, you'll throw off the calibration a little bit. But follow the instructions, and this thing will do just what it claims to.

This is such a smart product to own

This is such a smart product to own! We have experimented with it at home and at times when we felt fine to drive, we found out we were above the legal limit. Now we carry one with us and check ourselves anytime we have even one drink so we can make sure we are safe to drive. This could be a lifesaver! We've given them to friends for gifts. Everyone who drinks alcohol should own one.

Great for DD to influence others not to drive after drinking. Seeing those numbers is a sobering event!

Seems to work fairly well and the results are close to what one would calculate (body weight/consumption). You have to wait the specified time before testing (no consumption for at least 20 minutes) for it to work but it has settled some discussions and helped talk friends leaving a party out of driving so well worth it.

Cool device

Bought this for my 21st birthday for fun and ended up being a hit with my friends who all like to try it out. Seems to be pretty accurate, just make sure not to blow into it right after taking a sip of alcohol or the BAC will read really high. You have to take a few minutes before testing it. Overall super fun and cool device to carry around when I go out drinking. It is also a good indicator when I'm feeling sober enough to drive but had a couple drinks and I want to double-check where I'm at, just to be safe.

Great value for the price!

I’m writing this review because the bad ones are skewed in my opinion. I was hesitant to purchase because people said it’s not accurate and reads incorrectly a lot. From my personal experience, this breathalyzer is pretty dang accurate for how cheap it is but you have to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. If you don’t wait 20 minutes after drinking or eating anything (even water), it will NOT read correctly. So follow directions and wait the 20 minutes and you’ll be golden! If you don’t wanna wait the 20 minutes, spend more money & buy a nicer one lol.

Every friend group needs one of these

We love this little guy. When we have people over to drink we make them use this before they drive home and it’s a great safe and honestly fun way to make sure everyone is good to go. Our friends love using it and always ask us to bring it when we go out. Please be cautious of the accuracy - you have to wait 20 minutes from your last drink OR rinse your mouth out in order to get an accurate number - if not the alcohol will be too strong on your breath and it won’t be accurate.

Tiny, accurate and fun! Great for parties!

Such a cute little product. It’s by a great company. This product is tiny and works very similar to a $75 professional one. By the same company. I compare the accuracy and it’s almost identical. Great for get togethers and parties!( when we are allowed to have them again in New York). Best tip is wait the 15-20 minutes since last food, drink and cigarettes to be accurate. The longer you wait the better it is.

Become the hit of the party

Seriously. This is a must for any college partyer. My roommate and I went 50/50 on this (Yes, we are broke college students), and it was the best investment ever. Is it 100% accurate? No. But that's not what you're paying for. If you blow it 2 seconds after downing a shot of tequila you're going to blow like a .3 even if that's your first shot. It's to be expected with something of this price. However, if you follow the directions and wait 20 minutes after your last drink before using (alternatively, we'd wait about 5 and swish with OJ), the results are awesome. Plus, everyone at the party wants a try. Definitely worth the good times.

Very very good product.

This is a great product, it works very well. I also decide to upgrade to a pro version, and again glad I did. It does helps you to make a wise choice before getting behind the wheel. this is a small cost investment, other then what of all the trouble a D.U.I. cost. and if you do bring it out on parties, people really want to try it, and see were they are, it also shows how responsible you are trying to be with yourself, and friends. If you are thinking about getting one, don't think, just do.
