K&N PS-1010 Filter

Excellent filter. I've used these for about the last 5 oil changes in my vehicle which I use primarily for daily commuting but will put it on the highway for extended trips as well. I always pair with a synthetic oil, usually Mobil 1 which I also will be posting a review for, and the two never let me down. I research all items before I use them on one of the most expensive investments I'll ever make, my vehicle. Currently at 112,000k and have only had to replace the battery in my Honda. Prepping to do some routing maintenance before it's due but as far as the filter goes it keeps the oil looking clean even at the 5k change mark. Never any sludge on the drain plug, always easy to remove by hand, have never needed a filter. Gasket always comes off clean. At the price Amazon has them I picked up a few just to have on hand for future changes. K&N products are a staple in my garage.

Better Quality Filters for Just a Little More Dinero

Disclaimer: I apologize if this sounds in any way like I work for K&N, I honestly don't: I use this K&N Oil Filter on my 2013 Honda Accord V6, because of their build quality and quality control. If you ever have the chance to cut one open (safely) I suggest you do so. When you're done with that compare it to a Fram Oil Filter. The oil filters are completely different in terms of quality, Fram has uneven pleats in the filter, oozing glue, rubber seals that are set askew etc. Oil is the blood of your car make sure you protect it by filtering out all of the harmful contaminants.

Great for 2013 Honda CR-V

Great price on a quality oil filter. Cheaper on Amazon, arrives in a few days and beat Honda OEM filters. I worked for Fram 30 years ago assembling Air and Oil Filters. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law still work for Purolator in NC. These two manufacturers make almost every filter in the USA and the only difference between the brands is the filter paper which allows the oil to pass thru it. Some have more paper/filter material and others just have better quality. Just about any filter will do the job provided you change at the recommended intervals. All-in-all, this filter is of the higher quality paper filter materiel.

K&N OIL is a GREAT UPGRADE from likes of Fram ext..however it depends on the HOUSING . Great for JDM,USA Not for EUROs

Ok this is hard Review. I own a Audi A4 and my wife the Sub Impreza 2.0 (non turbo/wrx) ..the car shares the same engine as the Crosstek. KN Air filters are great and what they are known for. I think this OIL filters is great and excellent upgrade. So I would recommend if you drive a Impreza/Crossteck. The Issue is KN makes GREAT OIL filters as long as they are in this style of housing. However the KN Oil for my Audi that isnt ENCASED in the housing... they are not so good as they often collapse .. so GREAT in Housing not so much where the Housing is on the car.

Fits 2015 honda pilot.

Fits perfect on a 2015 honda pilot. It had a shorter cheap filter so I'm sure this will be better than what it had. I've never had any trouble with any oil filters so I'm sure this one will work good.

I already own the drop in filter for my HCH II and just decided to try their oil filters as well. It is a more quality product than the fram honda filters and its blatantly obvious when holding them side by side. That said, not sure how much a difference it makes to use this filter vs the oem as i will still change oil @5000k's.

Solid filter.

Fits perfect for a 2013 Civic Si. Works as well or better than OEM in my opinion. Car runs smooth. Used with full synthetic 0w-20 mobil 1. Happy with purchase. Only issue is I wish it were made in the USA like most K&N filters, but it is well constructed regardless.

You can never go wrong with K&N products

Sometimes you never see the benefit of something that works day in and day out, but plays an important part of the health of your vehicle. I drive a 2005 Titan that is just shy of 130K miles, and I've always used these filters. Plus having a K&N Cold Air Intake and Banks Monster Exhaust adds to the fun factor, but that's another review... The price and free shipping makes this a great deal.
