Perfect sandal for the summer

This is a great brand of children's sandals. We have purchased many various styles and sizes over the years for my granddaughter. They can be worn casual or dressy. They clean up easy with normally just a damp washrag but are not to be put in the washer or use harsh cleaners but we don't wear them as a sandal to play outside in if it could be bad weather. She looks so cute in them with her sundresses. I would recommend this brand and shoe to everyone.

Indestructible!

I get my lo a pair at the beginning of every summer. These last through two beach trips, hours of play, numerous machine and hand washings and still look good enough to hand down at the end of the season. They run one size larger than the stride rite chart. My lo measures a 7 on the stride rite chart and size 6 in the saltwater brand fits perfectly. We have never had issues with the soles splitting or the leather peeling. Leather can be a little stiff so I give them a good working with rubbing alcohol and never had any blisters.

Had to get these again!

This is my 4 years old daughter's second pair. We bought the first pair 2 years ago and she got 2 summers out of it because I bought them in a larger size. This year, I originally purchased a different brand with similar style, thinking, what could be so bad about kids sandals. But they were just not the same. My daughter didn't complain about the other brand sandals but she fidgeted too much with the straps and would constantly trip on her own feet for no apparent reason. So I threw those out. I knew that I had to get these again. There is just no comparison that these are the superior sandals. I got them in a half size bigger than what my daughter wears so she has some room to grow in them. Immediately, I noticed the difference. There was no more fidgeting and no more tripping. The sandals match with everything she wears, and are well made and comfortable. Just what we want for our daughter, who is happy, running, jumping, skipping again. I will just stick with these in the future.

then order a 6 because it fits like a 7

So they already run 1/2-1 size bigger. If your child's foot is a 6 and you want to buy a 7 to grow into, then order a 6 because it fits like a 7. Just enough room to grow into and still very comfortable. In my case, I like to get my money's worth so here is is what I did.... My daughter was a 5 size foot and I ordered a size 7 and it fit her pretty big BUT the cool thing about these sandals is that, although way too big, she still wore them! they fit so snug that it did not matter. I did notice that she tripped a few times because they were big (my fault since a 6 is ideal) but in about a month she got used to them and was totally fine. Over all, she has been wearing them for 5 months now AND still has room for 1 more size!!! I expect an additional 2-3 more months before she officially grows out of them. Great value and super great quality!!!

Obsessed salt water mom

Beautiful sandals. I buy my daughter saltwaters every year she grows out of them. These are her staple summer sandals and I’m happy and proud to be a saltwater fan for life. If she didn’t grow out of them, I would never have to buy another pair. They are so durable. It pains me to have to give away her perfectly good old pair, but kids grow so fast. The saltwaters do run a bit big, so I’m hoping that she might be ok for next year...but you never know with kids. Wonderful well made shoes that don’t skimp in style and wearability. Will always be a fan

The Perfect Sandal

I love salt water sandals! The quality and durability of these sandals are unmatched. They are versatile too-stylish enough for both a formal setting like for church or for a casual setting like the beach. They are easy to put on little feet and they provide fantastic support. I am also very appreciative of the colors provided which automatically makes you inclined to buy more than one pair. These sandals are worth the investment. I also have purchased matching adult sandals and find them very comfortable and easy to wear.

Unsurpassed Quality and Longevity from a Salt Life Mom

We live 10 minutes from the beach. These are the only sandals that last the whole 9-10 months of sandal wearing weather and still look fantastic at the end of the season! I have 3 daughters and these are THE summer sandals of choice in our house!

Cute! Size a tad small

I needed some cute white sandals for my daughter that would go with all her summer dresses as well as shorts. I usually buy her Stride Rite sandals or Carter sandals. However she is almost 3 and Stride Rite and Carter sandals look a little bit babyish I think. These were perfect. They run about a half size small. For example I ordered her a size 7 and when I hold them up to all her 6 and 1/2 shoes they are the same size. So just know whatever size you were ordering you're getting about half size smaller. What's worked out perfect for us because my daughter is in a six and a half and they didn't have half sizes anyways.

A pair in every color please!

These shoes are so adorable! We've had them a few days and my 20 month old has worn them almost continuously with no issues. They are super cute and my daughter runs and plays in them in comfort. They run a bit big and I'm not sure of how they are supposed to fit. I bought both size 5 and 6 with her moderately narrow feet measuring a 6 ( a hair short of 13cm) according to the size chart. When we got them they both fit comfortably but her toes just barely came to the opening of the toe strap on the 6s. The 5s fit her well but probably will only fit a few months. I guess I caught her between sizes. I wish they made half sizes! In the picture, the 5 is on her right foot and the 6 on the left foot. The single pic is of a size 5.

Great quality, very cute

Very pleased with these sandals. My just-turned-3 daughter hates the feeling of anything between her toes, so flip flops were a no-go in our house. I wanted a sweet and simple sandal that she could wear with playclothes or sundresses all summer. I found it! The sole is very sturdy, but comfortable. The bottom is a rubbery material, so climbing on playground equipment has been easy in these. The leather is soft and forgiving. The heart cut outs are so cute! All in all a well-designed sandal for children. I especially love the buckles. It looks so much nicer than a velcro shoe! The sizing might run a liiittttlllleee big. 2 YEARS LATER UPDATE: Holy cow, we love these sandals so much we just keep buying them. I bought her a new pair last year and we will be getting another new pair tomotrow. People ask me all the time where i got them because everyone is looking for nice, sturdy sandals that are supportive AND cute. These sandals seriously rock. I wish they sold the same sole in adult sizes!
