This is a great machine! We have 5 other machines and this one pops the fastest and pops the popcorn kernels bigger and fluffier than all the other machines.

When my machine arrived the box was ripped but i believe that happened during shipping. When i opened the box i was so pleased with the presentation of my machine. It was big and beautiful. I loved that it came with popcorn bags, popcorn cups, measuring spoons, a salt shaker and a scooper. The next day I used it for a party that I had, it worked so well. I am one very very pleased customer. I will definitely order from this seller again.

Fantastic Popper!

Fantastic Popper!!! Perfect for Home Theater or light commercial use. Makes Movie Theater quality popcorn as long as you have the coconut oil and Flavacol to go with it. I've had mine for almost a year and it has had ZERO issues. Makes perfect batch every time. Very few old maids (un-popped kernels). Clean up is quick and easy. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for movie theater popcorn at home. Not related to this product - I still have not found the perfect butter topping to match what I get at Harkins (our local theater chain here in AZ) but I'm still searching... Might just see if Harkins would sell me a bag of theirs!

Excellent popcorn concession machine at football games!

This is so perfect for our Band Parents table at football games! Tremendous volume & doesn’t waste kernels or burn like our previous smaller machine. We love it, and it paid for itself on the first night, just through the incredible volume of popcorn sold. I hope our organization can enjoy it for many years to come!

the Gold Medal brand was almost double the price as the Great Northern brand

I ordered this as a replacement machine for our church. The old machine was a Gold Medal brand that lasted almost 16 years but when looking for a replacement, the Gold Medal brand was almost double the price as the Great Northern brand. We were not sure about the power plug end since it appears the product is made in China but the plug was fine (3 prong) so I am attaching a picture for people that have the same question. I read the reviews on this machine which helped me make the decision to take a leap of faith and switch to a different brand, Great Northern. Thanks to all for your reviews. I tried my new machine out at home first and was extremely happy. I let the pot heat for 4 minutes before putting in the kernels and oil and in less than 3 minutes I had a beautiful batch of movie theatre style popcorn. I am bringing it to church tonight and I know the kiddos will be so happy to have their popcorn again.

This machine is very simple to use. The instructions are printed on the back of the machine (where the operator/server would stand). The bottom door, and drawer are easily removable for quick cleaning. The popping pot on top is a little more difficult to clean, but overall have had a great experience using.

Product arrived early with some damage and other. Called Amazon and they corrected issue on the spot. completed repairs and tested popper it worked great. Used it for large event and had no problems and have used it a couple more times including elementary school festival were we popped about 30 pounds of pop corn non stop without any mishaps great product. The popcorn heater is a big improvement over last machine and the fan to blow out smell of popping corn draws people in. I would buy again and would recommend to anyone looking for a larger popper. Great product but Amazon really made purchase work out for us.

I was sort of nervous shedding all the cash for this machine due to the number of bad reviews. I have not owned the machine for long to tell whether or not it would rust of break. Will comment on that as time passes. For now all I can tell is it makes great popcorn, lots of it fairly quick. I don't own a business or anything like that this is for my Home Theater. It is a bit too big though, see my picture compared against Nostalgia Electrics. July 27th update: Machine still working great in the same conditions I bought it last February. I only use popcorn and coconut oil in the machine, salt the popcorn in my containers, not in the machine; I was salting the popcorn in the machine in the warming main area but found it's a bit difficult to clean after that (specially if you are like me and make popcorn on Saturday and finish it on Sunday :-P) Now I'm considering buying pre-mixed popping corn/oil.. will see.

Works great. Looks great. A real crowd pleaser at small events or get-togethers. The smell of fresh popped corn really draws people to you. I get lots of comments on how cool it is.

Worked Great!

Used this for a full season and have had 0 issues with it. Cooks fast and makes some great corn. I use it commercially and it has paid for itself many times over after one season. I was a little sceptical buying something from China but so far, so good! I did purchase the Square Trade warranty to be on the safe side but haven't had a need for it yet.
