A Sturdy Cell Phone Holder

I like the 13" height for easy visibility, the strong cell phone support and the ease of cell release by pressing bottom right side button. I keep cell phone charger connected to lighter socket. For easy charger cord release, I used the "SOJITEK Genuine Detachable Magnetic Charging Charger". Less on the dashboard!

Holds an iPhone 6+ with a wallet case

It is easy to set up and holds my phone with a leather wallet case! I have some cards in my case and I have to fold the main flap to put it in the holder but it fits. Although it feels like it is not stable it never fell even when going over bumps. I think the friction of the case with the holder is what makes it stay in place. It is perfect for my CRV - I like its height. It is just below my car screen and at a comfortable level for viewing without blocking anything. I tried another holder that was supposed to be on the dashboard but it would have blocked my windshield view.

A satisfying product

This is a product that completely fulfills the advertising promises. There was some concern about losing a cup holder, but the utility of this mount was demonstrated on a recent trip. The mount held the cellphone very snugly, and the phone was held at an angle and height for easy manipulation and phone selections, AND the screen was at a distance for easy readability. The design and location in my car is better than any other mount I have tried regarding distractions and eye movement away from the road ahead.

Installed in a Ford F-150

I am doing a review because before I purchased this I wanted to know what it would look and fit like in a 2013 Ford F-150 Fx4. See pictures I posted with this review. It looks decent and it fits snuggly. I have my iPad mini in it with a OtterBox Defender Case and it seems like it’s all going to work well.

This works perfect in my Toyota RAV4 XLE for an iPhone 7plus. The part that sits in the cup holder is adjustable for a tight fit. The arm height is also adjustable so it doesn't block anything on the console, even with the larger phone. It sits at the perfect spot to view maps or make single, hands-free (new law) swipes as well!

Love it

Love it, it’s durable, easy to install and it’s perfect for holding my phone, so I don’t have to keep my phone into my cup holder and every time I turn i make sure I’m hanging on to it so it doesn’t ending up on the floor.

This is so helpful in my car...

I used to prop my phone in my cupholder but it was hard on my iphone charger cord (we can all agree these flimsly cords are one of Apple's worst product issues) and it was difficult to see the whole screen, always shifted around, and I always had to dig it out to change songs on my Spotify. My charger/aux cord wouldn't stretch far enough to let me use a vent phone holder, either. This cupholder phone holder was the perfect remedy, it has soft, adjustable grips to hold my phone, a place underneath for the charger cord to easily fit through, and it adjusts to the size of the cupholder so it stays put. I love that it can bend and turn to position, as I drive a 6-speed sportscar and need to shift but have less space than some other, less fun, cars with more elbow room :) Thanks, this is perfect!

Snug in the cup holder

So much better than other phone mounts that clip on and ruin air vents, and especially great for vehicles with cup holders close to the dash. This phone mount allows my phone to sit at a low profile, just under the radio and a/c controls, putting it at the same visibility as the car's built-in controls, and screens.

It is still holding up great. The foam on the right arm wore down ...

I purchased this cup holdercell phone mount back in August of 2014. I have used it every day since. It is still holding up great surprisingly, other than the foam on the right arm wore down in a .5" by .5" section. However, it still holds the phone very well. I have gone through 3 phones since I have had those mount, and the mount has held up better than my phones have. I highly recommend this mount, it's hands down the best mount for a 4th gen dodge ram center console. I only wish they would release a version with wireless charging capabilities.

I took back at least 3 other types to another well known store ( a window one with a sticky seal that I did buy on Amazon, another goose neck with window suction, and the air vent holder style) - hated them all for various reasons. Hard to find a cup holder one and yes, you do lose the cup holder when using...........BUT, I only wanted for using Google Maps and when I use that app, I was putting my cell phone into the cup holder anyway and picking up when I needed to glance at map closer. What I love about this cup holder one is the profile is low, the bottom part that goes into cup holder is completely adjustable with a twist of a part of it while in the cup holder so you can easily get a perfect fit. Also like the button that opens the cell phone holder part- it doesn't just snap open but goes open as if it is electronically done, really neat. Everybody's car is different and the middle sections different so I can't vouch for it working in all cars. My shift automatic handle is in the middle and also the emergency brake handle, plus the 2 cup holders and works fine.
