Temperpedic and Tuft and NeedleMemory foam Beds
These are fantastic - I wanted to buy something for extra protection being concerned about bugs which I do not have thank God but I am locked and loaded now! I am taking every precaution including taping all baseboards as beds are an investment - Tuft and Needle recommended these. I was at first skeptical because of some other reviews said they were not that strong - yes they are! The material is a very dense stretchy spandex cottony feel - it is thick and durable with the inside layer being a flexible poly blend - my other concern was are these toxic? as in chemical odors? When I first opened the box there seemed to be a plastic smell from the packaging so I just left it opened in the Amazon box until I could get organized. To my surprise after a week, there was absolutely no odor at all when I took it out of the plastic casing - just a fresh clean cotton vibe - so my suggestion is take them and air out over the bathroom rod if needed - I did wash one and air dried it - fresh as a daisy - foam mattresses are not easy to manuever but the encasements held up fine, it had more than enough material to spare. I also put white duct tape over the zipper for extra protection. I ordered a mattress not boxspring encasement for the boxspring as others felt that it was sturdier - I also shoved two single futon beds into a twin protector as well - no problemos - For the price I think I may order extras and double wrap everything because Im a girl scout that way. Love!

Lifesaver and gave me peace of mind
When I had a bed bug infestation in 2015, I was sooo grossed out and upset. I had been traveling for the past 6 months and never ever thought I would have bed bugs. I'm extra clean person and always wash all my clothes when I return from traveling. When I finally found the bed bugs on my mattress there were dead bed bugs, blood stains and living bed bugs all around the edge of mattress. BARF!!! I discarded my mattress and my boxspring that day and purchased a new mattress and this Sleep Defense System. Now its 3 years later and I've done no professional bed bug removal and have no bed bugs since. I'm so relieved that I can sleep easy at night. I'm sure there may be one or two of these blood sucking monsters somewhere in my room but for the most part, this denies bed bugs the most significant breeding ground or hiding place. That's good enough for me!!!

Great encasement for my T&N mattress!
Love this encasement! I bought it for my new mattress (T&N) and it fit perfectly! It does not make the mattress hot and it does not feel like plastic (I have no idea how it works but it does!). I spilled some water and my mattress stayed dry. It was a great investment! Great price and great quality. The company also seems very responsive and the mattress comes with several plastic hooks in case you have to open it again. Overall a great purchase!

These were great
Yes! they work! the bedbugs get trapped in/out! always have encasements with a new mattress, just in case To eradicate bedbugs you need the (climb ups) for the legs & keep blankets & sheets away from wall & floor, I even incased my couch cushions in an encasement! It took 3mo but I've been bedbug free for 1 1/2mo now the steamer/vacuum/encasements/climb ups/DE or bedlam and time will get you there just make sure you don't have too much clutter and keep yourself up away from them and eventually they will disappear mind did! Good luck!:)

So far so good. Quality seems good
While I was out of town, my daughter let a friend of hers sleep in my bed. 2 weeks after returning home, my arms and fingers started itching and burning. She had changed the sheets but didn't wash the new ones she put on. I had never experienced bed bugs before so I thought I was having an allergic reaction to the dyes in the sheets. BUT after washing them I found the true cause to my problem!! It appears to have been a mild case but I still have the heebie jeebies. And under the instruction of my current exterminator, I have treated my room. Could not afford to buy new mattress and box springs so I bought the pillow covers and also the ones for my bed. So far so good. Quality seems good. Only had them on my bed for a week now and things seem to be going okay. I will continue to treat my room on a weekly basis til the end of the year (only because it makes me feel better) to make sure that every stage the bugs go through are destroyed. De-cluttering my room as I go along to make things easier.

These covers are easy to put on, they don't crinkle and they work for bed bugs!
Honestly I was afraid these wouldn't be comfy &/or keep bedbugs away. And worse, that they would make my husband even hotter than he is at night, but they are perfect!! I know this is long, but I think its worth the read. So I started on Amazon, I typed in "bedbug mattress covers", & started looking at the options.. I read a lot of reviews, on many products, but they all pretty much had the same thing: some good reviews, (people who seemed to know how to put a cover on & usually didn't have bedbugs), & some bad reviews (people who put it on wrong or didn't treat bedbugs with anything other than covers, which you can't do). The other reviews were almost all about whether the different mattress covers are waterproof. Since I was battling a bedbug issue I didnt care if they were waterproof, but I had caught it early enough so we really needed covers asap to keep the infestation from spreading & to help with isolation of the problem to make it easier to eliminate them completely. Anyways, I looked at about 24 different covers, looked at pictures, read the information about them from companies, & looked at the reviews the most.. None of them were enough to sway me one way or the other. When I came across the Hospitality ones, I almost didn't stop, since the prices are very reasonable. My man said just check them out since he was irritated that I wouldn't just pick one, so I checked them out, read reviews & zoomed in on pictures of the product. As I read the description, I noticed they said "lab tested", so I checked out the lab too, which was legit. So I ordered 2 right away, one for my futon & one for my daughter's twin bed. When they came, they were very soft & the zipper was tiny, that's a good thing because then the tiniest of bedbugs can't get through it. If you don't do research on bedbugs, you won't be able to eliminate them. Plus the eggs & babie are seriously almost completely clear until they feed & grow, & are as small as a grain of salt, so they're very hard to see. Well anyways, like I said the covers were super soft, so that's great. They keep out the bugs. The covers went on super easily. My husband & I put the futon cover on in a matter of 4 mins, together, we didn't even have to lift it up much, just lifted as we slipped it on. It was super easy. My daughters I was able to put on by myself, she has 2 older twin size thin matresses & a foam topper abt 1 inch thick. I was able to fit all 3 of those in the twin size cover I got for her, by myself. Along with these covers, I used all natural spray from Home Depot, & a huge bag of diatomaceous earth. We haven't had any problems since. And although these are not really waterproof, they are very easy to clean with a wet wash cloth and some 409(had to do that 2 days ago when my dog threw up on it), but you could even just use a disinfectant wipe too. They are machine wash or as well, but with bedbugs, its best you leave covers on for at least 12-16 months since they can live for a long time without food. I HOPE THIS ALL HELPED & GOOD LUCK. :)

Excellent Purchase for Bed Bug worries
I purchased, 2 full sets, a twin set and an XL Twin set. The covers are well made - both the mattress and box spring pieces. I really like that they come with zip ties and a loop for zipper closure and a Velcro flap to cover the zipper end. I did also purchase another brand, also well made but - did not have the extra bed bug proofing that these do! All sizes were easy to put on the beds, as long as you follow the directions. Yes, it is best to use two people, roll the cover up to go over the end and they pretty much slide down the bed and box spring. Did not have any issue with tearing or ripping even when placed on the bed frame - and yes the package even includes pieces to put on the corners of the bed frame to help alleviate any chance of tears or rips. Overall this is an excellent product. Also - we did have bed bugs - followed one of the other reviewers steps, cleaned, sprayed, powdered, bed bug covers - So far so good no recurrence.

WOW I CAN BREATHE AGAIN
In short, I would highly recommend this product. I'd struggled with intense allergies for months, not knowing why or where it was coming from. I had my carpets cleaned, my house tested for mold... I just couldn't breathe easy in my room, and it caused me severe lack of sleep and frustration because my nose would be so congestion constantly, so irritated for months straight. I tried everything. Finally, I made an appointment with my ENT, and we found (with an endoscope) that my sinuses were in terrible condition. At this point, I had been getting regular nose bleeds due to the irritation. He put me on once a day sinus rinses with budesonide inhalation suspension (steroid) and an anti-fungal mixed in and advised me to make an appointment with the allergist. Once I finally got in to see my allergist, we found through many different tests that in highly allergic to dust mites (as many of us are), and ever since I got this mattress cover, I've been able to sleep better because I've been able to breathe better. Nose bleeds have stopped, and I'm a happy girl. Also, I was worried that my two mattress toppers weren't going to be able to fit inside the cover, but both of them do!!!! 10/10 would absolutely recommend. I think my mattress covers are about 4" tall, so if you're worried about that, stress no more! You won't regret it!

This one is superior
I bought a few different types of mattress protectors due to having some odd mattress thicknesses (furnishing a rental property). This seemed to be the superior product. I wanted this to fit the mattress snug and this one did the job. Still alittle ‘play’ in the cover but I’m very satisfied. (12inch memory foam). As for the feel of the cover which I understand is a big concern...yes it’s quiet. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being noisiest) it’s a 2. You can tell it’s there but nothing significant to bother you. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Great buy

Thick fabric + zipper lock = better encasement! It kept bed bugs out from our mattress!
This encasement is FAR better than many of the competitors. The fabric is thick and the zipper-lock system helps keep your mattress or box-spring completely secure from pesky bed-bug invaders. I bought another brand on sale and discovered that small holes opened up along the stitching -- how is that supposed to protect my mattress? Won't do that again -- I'll stick with Hospitology. Two important notes: First, it's important to follow the instructions carefully. Failure to do so means that bugs could still get in. Second, the encasements only prevent bugs from nesting inside the mattress (where it is very hard to get at them). For the reviewers who found bed-bugs on the outside of their encasement -- that means that the bugs were nesting somewhere else (too). We had some bugs hitchhike back to our house from a trip, but the encasements not only protected our mattresses but also made it easier to see where the bugs were and treat them. They couldn't get into the mattress so they tried to cling to the outside of the encasement, but we could then vacuum them up and treat the surrounding area with EcoRaider Bed Bug Killer Spray 16 Oz, Green + Non-toxic, 100% Kill + Extended Protection (Pricey, but it doesn't aggravate our allergies and has a far more pleasant scent)
