I am a maple syrup aficionado and addict, and this is the most DELICIOUS maple syrup I've ever had! Crown Maple Syrups are from the Crown Maple Estate in Dover Plains, NY in the Hudson River Valley; and for me they surpass maple syrups from Canada, Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, etc. in quality and taste. The flavor from the bourbon barrels is absolutely heavenly! I've enjoyed this truly special maple syrup on salmon, bacon, chicken, pork, Johnny cakes, pancakes, waffles, French toast, etc. It makes these dishes exquisite. In a class by itself. I'd secretly love to drink the whole bottle! (And I hardly drink...only a glass of red wine sometimes with dinner.)

"Too Bourbony for breakfast? Nah...". Is what I tell myself. It does have a healthy bourbon taste, but if I'm eating carb bombs with liquid sugar and butter, am I really worried about alcohol? Nah... delicious for my final meal.

This maple syrup with hint of bourbon is outstanding! It is so good I take it by the spoonful like medicine...it is that deep and rich in flavor. I don't eat pancakes or waffles too often but certainly this syrup on top of (any dessert!) like a really good vanilla bean gelato must be outstanding! It was by mistake I came across their smaller 25 oz heavy duty bourbon-looking bottle with cork...it seemed to be liquor so I almost overlooked it but then I saw "maple syrup" and oh how I've searched for that thick dense (former Grade B) quality and, after tasting, I knew I had found it! Buy this and enjoy it!

This is some of the best syrup I've ever had. I use it in smoothies, where it complements the flavor of fruit beautifully. And with pancakes, the flavor is wonderful without overwhelming, as some syrups do. My next recipe to try is pecan pie sweetened with maple syrup, and I think it would be really good in homemade nut milks. It's organic, which is a big plus for me, and the bottle is heavy glass, quite good quality, with a cork to seal it.

Is it bad to admit that as a New Englander, I treat maple syrup like other people treat chocolate and that "sometimes" I take a nip out of the bottle like it was booze? I want to make it clear I don't drink a mini shot of maple syrup every day. Just the days that end with the letter Y.

I love all the Crown Maple products but this one is my favorite. I use a little to sweeten my coffee every morning. I like that it comes in a glass bottle, but the cork-like stopper can be annoying if you use it everyday like I do. I transfer it to my American Metalworks syrup dispenser (also on Amazon) which works great. I recommend keeping it in he fridge because mold can grow on the surface if kept in the pantry and that is nothing short of a tragedy.

You don't always realize how good something is until you have a context. I liked this a lot on first taste. But tasting next to a supermarket brand was a revelation, This is darker, more complex, with hints of molasses. The supermarket brand is sweet, easy and broadly flavored, using the sugar to gain fans. This is so superior, it's not close.

This is absolutely the best syrup I have had hands down , after looking at ingredients on many they also have corn syrup. This is 100% smooth Creamy Maple Syrup. Lifetime customer here. No more vermont stuff.

Delicious maple syrup, very flavorful. Just need a bit in my oatmeal. I never liked 'maple syrup' as a child bc the texture was thin and watery ~ probably very low grade or not even real. Therefore avoided buying it as an adult as I don't eat much sweets and maple syrup is expensive. Then I went organic. Have to get organic everything and recipes started calling for maple syrup as the sweetener. I bought a small bottle in the grocery store ~ reminded me of my childhood ~ Nope! Go ahead, splurge on the best stuff ~ yes! You do get what you pay for here in this product. Should last me a long time, thought, bc I only sweeten oatmeal & chocolate chia pudding with it, ha! Not pouring it all over a stack of pancakes. I avoid most simple carbs so this syrup helps bc it's very flavorful.

Bought this for my wife who is a maple syrup aficianado. She loves it! I sampled this at a trade show and it is rather spectacular. If I were buying maple syrup for myself, this is, without a doubt, the one I would buy every time! Delicious.
