GREAT !!

I was sceptic. I was about to spend a lot of money to do professional grout cleaning. My floors are off white and the grout was destroying my floor. No matter how much I cleaned and scrubbed it was so dark almost black. It made my floors look awful and cheap looking. I heard about the Grout Pen and I said for $9 bucks it won't hurt to try. I started grouting and was shocked about how great it was. I thought in a few days this will be dirty again, its just too good to be true. But nope! Floor still looks amazing. I am so beyond happy with the grout pen!!! My floor looks FANTASTIC. I bought the larger tip one and did my bathroom and that also looks clean and beautiful. Very easy to use. My daughter says I am now addicted to grouting as I have not stopped. LOL!!! But I just love how easy it is to touch up and make things looks so clean and aesthetically beautiful.

This product worked great. I wish I had taken a before picture of how horrible and stained the grout looked. I really wanted to throw this table away multiple times but it was a hand me down from my parents and fixing old things always means more and makes every peace in your house feel more like your home. I did an initial coat which I do agree with some who complained about this product that it is a bit like white out. They failed to notice that it absorbed in the grout after letting it set a few seconds and wiping the excess off after each line. My advice would be to do a few lines at time letting the preview soak in and be generous, have a lightly damp paper towel in hand and after every fewightkt wipe over the tile to get any excess off the surrounding area. After you have done the entire area, go back to the beginning and do another coat if you feel it necessary. You can see in the attat he’s picture the initial coat on the top half and the two coats on the bottom. It made a huge difference. After it was complete I let it dry overnight and in the morning applied grout sealant to ensure it would stay looking clean and newer. I am very pleased with these results. I will admit that it doesn’t make it look “ brand new” but it looks 15 years younger and not at all embarrassing if I have guests. Next I have some sanding and staining to do on that wood!!

Amazing difference!

I was very nervous about using these given the mixed reviews, so hopefully this helps anyone on the fence about using them. I bought two different colors, the gray and the white. The gray definitely has a slight blue-ish cast, so if that is going to bother you use a different brand. The white is a true bright white without any ivory or yellow. Do not count on this matching your existing grout. You will not be able to just touch up a few areas. Just plan on doing the entire room. As to usage, I was pleasantly surprised by how far these went. I did the entire floor of my large master bathroom plus a little of the shower with one pen. The shower floor has small hex tile with larger grout lines so that took a little over two pens. Some tips: shake very well when first taking out of the package and any time you start working again after a pause. Depress the tip several times on to a paper plate or directly onto the grout line to get the paint flowing. Press very lightly when going over the grout. The tips lasted almost all the way to the end of my project. If the coverage starts to thin, pause and depress the tip a few more times. I would do about a 1x1 foot area, then pass over it lightly with a damp paper towel to get any overage off the tile. It is pretty forgiving and you have quite a bit of working time before it dries completely on the tile. If the tip gets too ragged you can pull it out (I used the damp paper towel) and flip it around. This was not a quick task but it went faster than I thought it would. I was worried the white would look too bright, but it just makes everything look so much cleaner. Very happy with this product!

I was skeptical to buy this product because of all the negative reviews I had read about the felt tip becoming ruined before the product was even out. I bought it anyway because we were having an appraisal on my house in a week and a couple years ago my ex used a sealant on the grout (stupidly instead of the cleaner) and the grout looked HORRIBLY DIRTY from my dogs. No matter how I scrubbed, even after getting all of the sealant off, it would look white again. I'm not sure what the people who had given it negative reviews had been doing with it but this product worked wonderfully and the felt tip was just fine once I was done. It's not like you push extremely hard and drag it across the grout. You shake it, push down until the paint covers the felt tip then glide it across the grout. Same as any paint pen. It made my grout shine and look brand new.

Amazing product!

This stuff is amazing! After over 10 years of the grout not being cleaned, and a botched repair job, the bathroom floor in this house looked horrendous. Two pens covered the entire bathroom floor, with plenty left over in the 2nd pen, even with applying 2-3 layers (which you will definitely need as the paint is a bit thin and also absorbs into the grout). Super easy to apply, works exactly like a regular paint marker. Be sure to press the pen tip on a separate (thick) cloth to activate it before actually using on the grout so you don't end up with a huge mess on the tile when the paint floods out at first. If you see the first side of the tip is getting frayed, just pull it out and turn it around to the other side.

Bought to clean up the pitted/cracked shower grout in an apt. If I owned the place, I'd have properly re-grouted & sealed. For the price, this did the trick & made the shower look sharp/clean. The paint dispenses easily & is pretty simple to apply evenly (and if you screw up, just use sponge to wipe off where you colored outside the lines). No idea how it'll hold up over time, but it made it through its first cleaning test (spray down with Kaboom tile cleaner) For my situation (i.e. it's an apt, so not willing to put in the time or $ to fully re-grout), it worked.

These things are awesome! I cleaned my bathroom tile grout first because the lady that lived there before me really let it go. A few places stayed stained and I was worried it wouldn't cover them, but all grout areas are bright white and look new now! The first picture is showing as I was cleaning the dirty grout. The second picture is after I cleaned it all and used the grout pen. I'm very happy with this product!

Not a permanent fix, but WOW does it make my kitchen look CLEAN. I had to do two coats in some areas, so I ran out faster than I was hoping too. But I was able to do about a 6ft area of tiling. In the photo you can see the difference between where I ran out of paint
