My grandparents have always swore by seven dust. I tried it for myself to get rid of some ants and they were all gone within hours! Very good product!

All of a sudden carpenter bees decided to invade my garage door frame. 16 holes drilled. Nasty big drones hanging around all day that have no fear of humans, constantly fighting with each other. My kids couldn't use the backyard it was so bad all summer. I got a can of spray that should have handled them but they kept coming back. I could hear them chewing wood every night. Finally I got this and a duster, and on a really cold day in early Winter, I carefully puffed the dust into the holes, then I put long roofing nails in the holes. I have yet to putty and paint but It's a year later and they haven't come back!

Our vet recommended this to help with the tick population out here in the country. He said this can even be used directly on our dog as it actually was first used as flea powder. (Before using on your pet, please check with your vet). Since spreading this on their yard and on our dogs we haven't seen a tick in a while.

Sometimes I feel like it's the me versus Japanese Beetles in the war on my beautiful roses! In one afternoon those haters will devour my prized rose collection leaving me feeling defeated! With one simple application of this stuff, anything attacking my garden vanishes never to be seen or heard from again almost instantly! As a side note, don't you wish this stuff worked HALF as good on "certain" people & "certain" family members too? Words of advice: - Doesn't apply with rain on the horizon or it will wash away leaving your plants vulnerable! - I like to water my flowers and after 10-15 minutes, I will apply vigorously! The water on the plants help keep the powder in place, where its most effective! - If you apply and it doesn't rain for weeks, it still works because it's still in place which is a BIG plus! - Don't bother buying an application device like I did, small 'Crop Duster', because the package is made of plastic and can easily be squeezed emitting a fine powder into the air! Or you can lightly sprinkle it over top of the plants like you would a salt shaker... Just be careful or it will come piling out! Here's a little useless trivia bit... It was originally designed to use on dogs as a flea killer!!!

Took care of my wolf spider problem in a day! I was seeing large spiders day to day around and in my home. Once i put this around the inside and outside of all cracks and entrances and around the entire outside of the house i havent seen more then a handful of small spiders or any insects in over a month!

Upon buying our house, we noticed there was an active yellowjacket hive on our siding and they were going up into our siding a bit as well. I decided to try this along with a bulb duster. At first, I admit I was a little frightened about standing so close to the hive even at night, but the powder applied to the necessary areas with ease, and, most importantly, it seems to have taken care of the problem! I've noticed several dead yellow jackets with very few still alive (but struggling).

I've killed many insects - scale - ants - etc. with this stuff. Just shoot it out or pour it out onto the leaves of any plant that is showing holes or discoloration from scaly insects and a week later it's gone and done. Pour onto ant hills or gatherings and they're gone. I've gotten rid of Jap beetles, scaly insects, ants, ground hornets (mixed it with water and dumped at night), and more.

Sevin Dust has been my go to product for pretty much any pest problem. I treat my garden, house, bed, and pets. Of course I vacuum the house and bed as well as bath the dogs once it has been on for 24 hours. It is by far the best thing to kill fleas, ants, roaches and everything else I have come across in my 54 yrs!

Update - The Sevin is doing it's job, but the cuke beetles, grasshoppers and other nasty insects are out of control this year! I soak the leaves of all the veggie plants with Sevin dust wait 2 days before watering to let the dust do it's thing. The plants look good for a while, then the pests are back with a vengeance! The next door neighbors don't take care of their yard and the weeds are out of control! I think the pests come over to my garden, eat their fill, and then go back home to that disaster area to breed and have a good time. Hate to keep putting on the poison but if I don't the pests will win. I applied Sevin dust probably 6 times this year, which at 10 bucks a pop adds up to 60.00. Gonna try using the liquid Sevin because I can make 12 gallons of pesticide for 20 bucks. I'll give another update at the end of the season to let everyone know the results. Best of luck with your pest problems!

Gotta say, this stuff is amazing. We have a yearly problem with giant wasps / cicada wasps in August. They come and take up residence in our front yard. We never quite get rid of them as they love to nest in a gap between the garage and the sidewalk. I ordered this after reading about it on a message board. I poured this into the gap and it either killed them or send them packing. It was certainly amazed that they were suddenly gone. My only issue was the casualty of a poor little frog that somehow got into this killer. A small price to pay for the annoyance of huge, scary yet non-aggressive wasps.
