Great plunger and design

Good quality and great price. I received a couple days after I ordered it, and I think it is worth the money. The design of the holder is also very easy to use. It is so much better than just having a plunger left out in the open on the floor behind the toilet!

24/7 availabilty

With growing kids you know you need this thing next to the toilet 24/7. So while the plunger work's well and does its job, the best part is the enclosure. Eventually after a few years it will bust or at least mine did. I immediately got another. About once a month or so I totally wash the whole thing as needed. I hope they never stop making this product. It's the one.

Great Mechanism, no smell, high quality look and feel.

Great mechanism. Slightly larger than I had hoped, but reasonably unobtrusive. No rubber or chemical smell in my two I purchased. Feels high quality. Spring mechanism is really nice in practice. Would buy again.

This is a good plunger

It's really hard to find a good plunger. Most of the ones we've tried are either so flimsy that they don't do any good, or so stiff that they take a lot of shoulder strength to use. This one is perfect. It's not so stiff that my 85-year-old mother can't use it, but it's strong enough that it gets the job done. I also love that the canister opens and closes without having to touch it, and it hides your plunger discretely. It's well designed with ventilation so your plunger can dry (so you won't find it in a poopy puddle the next time you need to use it), and both the plunger and canister are easily cleaned. I bought one for the guest bath (now used daily by the 85-year-old mother I mentioned), and recently bought two more for the bathrooms on the main floor.

Does an icky job discreetly

It is easily tucked away in a corner and its covered plunger works very well with the bell design. Creates good suction. The cover hides the tool used for an odious task in a visually pleasing way. This is the third one I have bought for each of our bathrooms. I especially like that guests don't have to be embarrassed when using the powder room and they have an "issue." They can handle themselves .

Works Perfectly!

This works perfectly with no complaints or issues at all. Did not really notice any "rubber odor" issues which others have mentioned. Very happy, as we have been with all OXO products.

Sleek, hidden well

I think plungers are gross, but when you need them, you really need them. Enter this little find. The case stays open until you've put the plunger back in, making stowing easy. The only minor con is that it can be tough moving the case when you're trying to clean the floor because it's designed to open without the plunger, but meh. Still A+for us.

It really works, all of it😃

I have two of these in my home, and the plunger works as a plunger should. That is enough discussion of that......... The coolest part is the holder. I like having a plunger at the ready for those moments when it is necessary, but prefer not to set them directly on the floor, nor do I want to see them so the holder is perfect. As I lift the weight of the plunger up the caddy opens and stays open until I place the plunger back in, then it closes an my plunger is out of sight. Yay!!!

This one works!

I was ready to give up and pay a plumber $100 or more to clear a stubborn clog when I read reviews of this product. Despite many complaints of a terrible odor emitted by the rubber plunger head, I ordered it. There virtually is no odor at all, and the clog was cleared rapidly with very little effort. I ordered another one for a second bathroom. Another great OXO product, and one can order five of these plungers for the cost of one plumber visit.

Good Solution to an Everyday Problem

Terrific! First, it's unobtrusive--pure white, completely covers the business end of the plunger. Second, it's easy to access. Just pull up and the clamshell cover opens up and flops open. You don't touch anything but the handle. Third, it's easy to replace. The cover stays open, so you just place it back in the cover and its own weight closes the clamshell cover. If you've wanted to have a plunger in the bathroom but found it unattractive this may be the answer to your problem.
