Not sure what some of the other reviewers are talking about when they say that these toys are "poorly made". I bought these at a local teacher supply store and am so glad I did! I have four girls ranging in age from two to twelve and they all play with these. I've had these pops now for almost five years and have never had a problem with them. There are no small parts, no paint pealed or scratched. They can slam these around (and they have for years) and it has absolutely no effect whatsoever on the over all product. I would encourage you to keep the plastic container they come in as we lost ours somewhere and I wish we hadn't as that's how we store them. (The container shown in the photo is not the one they came in, it's just another we had on hand, and I decided to use it for these.) The kids can play with these as play foods. They can be tricky to snap together or pull apart, but that doesn't bother us. The older kids help the younger. The only issue we've ever had is that they've been taken out into the yard and left outside a few days. The sun can discolor them in such case, but that's our fault, not the product. Also, for some reason ours have gotten dirty and sticky. They are easy to wipe off or rinse in the sink. Helpful for kids learning upper and lower case. Each set of two pops also has another letter on the back (which can confuse the very young. ) Over all a cute and good quality fun toy. I did not get paid to write this, it's a real review and I paid my own money for the toys.

These are such a great toy. I thought I would have to buy two sets and erase the second letters on the reverse side with nail polish remover as others have done, because my son is quite a perfectionist when it comes to the alphabet. But he has actually really enjoyed memorizing which letters are “partners” (which letter is on the back of which letter). I have no idea if that will translate into a useful skill but he enjoys it hahaha. We used this as a prize for potty training. TMI... my son had problems getting #2 in the potty but never had #1 accidents. We have him a new pair of popsicles every time he pooped in the potty until he had the whole alphabet. He’s obsessed with letters so it proved very effective for us!

I just received these in the mail yesterday. I opened them up right away & my daughter was at my side & was INSTANTLY in love with these popsicles! She loves learning & reciting her Alphabet & these were the perfect toy to help her practice! I also love how absolutely adorable they are. I love the plastic they are made out of. Easy to clean with a disinfectant wipe (as my daughter likes to pretend to “eat” them lol). They are very well made & are very durable. I love watching my daughter match up the colors & letters. She adores them & quite frankly, she hasn’t put them down since I opened up that box in the mail! Lol This is definitely a must buy & you won’t be disappointed!

My daughter loves to play with these alphabet popsicles during learning time. The only complaint I have is that there are letters on both sides of the popsicles, and that makes it a little confusing for littles. I followed the advice of another reviewer and bought two sets. I removed the letters on one side of the popsicle with fingernail polish remover until I had one popsicle for each letter of the alphabet. Was more expensive, but because the plastic of these popsicles is so durable, I'll have these for my grandchildren too!

After reading other reviews, I bought 2 sets for my son. I know how he wants the alphabet all lined up and would like just half of it done. I took plain nail polish remover to take the letters off one side. The nail polish remover took the letters off very easily and did not take the color out of the popsicle. I think we are going to buy some number stickers for the other side.

These are very cute! I purchased them in the hopes that my 3 yr Old son would enjoy playing with them and matching them. He does like to match them based on color, but is not that interested in the letters yet. We made a game out of using these and letter flash cards we had (you could also just put the upper and lowercase letters on paper) and this got him more interested than just the popsicles themselves. We put all of the flash cards (has all upper and lowercase letters) into a bag and all of the popsicles un-joined in a pile in front of us. We took turns picking a letter from the bag and then selecting our corresponding popsicle from the pile. Once the letters in the bag were gone we got to count and see who had the most popsicles and they were the winner. Since the popsicles have letters printed on both sides, you may have to steal someone's popsicle based on the order the letter cards come out of the bag. It was fun and he got into this much more than just the popsicles themselves. These are super cute though and we even use them in pretend store/kitchen play.

Bought this toy for a 2 year old little girl who loves playing with the colorful pops and mixing and matching the colors and letters. The quality of the materials is very good. The plastic is soft and rubbery and has no chemical or toxic smell. The pieces are sturdy and you can tell that they will last a long time, even after being thrown and stepped on by an active toddler. I would recommend this toy to anyone who has a toddler just learning letters and colors. The pop-pairs are sometimes tightly attached to each other but after playing with them for a while, it becomes easier to separate the pops. They are connected together in a way that is similar to plastic pop-beads, only larger and stronger. I am glad I purchased this toy and my granddaughter has played with them every day since they arrived 2 weeks ago.

From a teacher... Pros: bought these and they are absolutely loving them! My youngest is under a year...great for him. The 2’s are loving color matching and chewing on them (great durability). They wash easily. My 3’s are loving colors, connecting, alphabet letters, learning to identify upper and lower case, and finding the letters in their names. Plus they are pretending to sell them at a “popsicle stand” during dramatic play. Highly recommend! Cons: Only issue is some of the connectors seem slightly too large so getting them back on can be a challenge for little hands. Hoping they break in a little bit more and that becomes easier.

I bought these for my almost 3 year old, who is obsessed with popsicles. I was looking for toy popsicles, but I didn't see a lot of options. These are great! We have had them a few months and they seem sturdy. They are sealed, so I don't have to worry about them getting filled with water and getting moldy. It's an added bonus that they have letters on them, it will be a good educational tool when she's ready for that soon.

I read the reviews and bought two sets as suggested. We removed the letters on one side of all the popsicles with nail polish remover (if you buy one set half the letters are on the front and the other half are on the back). It's nice to have a bigger set with the letters all on one side. They're really fun, and yes color coordinated, and can be a little tricky to stick back together, but over all a great way to get my preschoolers excited about learning the alphabet!
