I got dreads, and for the first 2 weeks my entire scalp was sooo itchy (which is common after getting them) . Nothing worked for me. I tried special soaps and shampoos, natural products like Apple cider vinegar and lemon, which over time helped.. but this product was instant relief. As soon as I applied I could feel it working and it lasted half the day. It definitely kept me from scratching and causing dandruff and flakes as well. Only downside is that it's a fairly small bottle and pure liquid so it's gone in no time. I would recommend buying a 2 pack at least - I used mine within a week and a half or so.

Works great!

This thing works great. I have literally tired everything online , finally this worked with my scalp itching. My head was itching was like crazy, tried oil, aloe vera, shampoo and it always came back after a day or two. I used this like month ago or so. 2-3 applications seemed do the trick. Don't expect the result right away. Use it and you will feel the relief within 3-4 hours.

You no longer have to scratch that itch

Over the last several months I had an irritated scalp, and occasional itching which often would develop late in the day. Hair also seemed to be falling out. What i have come to realise is that many shampoos contain chemicals which can irritate the scalp, and there may very well be other chemical irritants in the bathroom which I endeavor to minimize. One thing I did was stop using shampoos but start using moisturizer on my scalp. I used Rejuvenex which I found worked wonders on my face. Then while I was searching for scalp treatment, one reviewer who had experimented with several products recommended this product in particular so I decided to give it a go. My experience has been entirely positive. Almost immediately the itching disappeared, and the irritation and flaking grew less, so I highly recommend this product, and will buy it again. I note that one reviewer expressed a preference for a spray. This is a worthwhile idea, although I do not have a problem with this delivery system. I simply open the lid slightly and have the fingers of my other hand ready to massage it into my scalp and spread it around, and only use small amounts in each area. I think most people will find it useful. I do not presume that any one product will work for everyone. I hope this was helpful.

Oh what a relief it is!

I had seborrhea and the itching was terrible! I tried many shampoos and none helped. This product gave instant relief. Used it 3 times daily, now once a day. Doesn't make hair oily; soaks right into the scalp. I highly recommend trying it.

It Works

For some reason part of my scalp itches, and I've been to four dermatologists with no real results. The last just told me to buy some Scalpicin, and I did. When a spot on my scalp itches, I just get the bottle, unscrew the little hole in the cap top, turn it upside down and run it over the itch. It stops the itch immediately. The little hole is just perfect because it doesn't allow the liquid to drain out fast, so no need to worry about spillage. Later on it may itch again, but just repeat the procedure. Good stuff.

Adverse Effects

I am a recovering Cancer patient that as result of the treatment and medication has extremely dry and itching scalp. With the dry scalp large dandruff flakes are a constant problem. Your product has been very helpful, in fact the best I have been able to find.

My dermatologist prescribed me a very $$ MAINTAINACE MED a few years ago for scalp psoriasis, so I opted out from the treatment and ignored the problem regardless of how annoying it may have been in order not have to bear the brunt of extra expenses. This is an incurable problem that needs ongoing maintenance med treatment to quell its effects; very $$ business. I had to deal psoriasis misery up until I ran into this product! Inexpensive, yet very potent with NO side effects to me. I use it once every couple weeks, and it simply weeds outs the problem!
