I bought this to finally be done w/kids in my class saying they had to have their phones out because they couldn't ready the analog clock -- this BRIGHT & big clock works awesome. However, after 9 months many of the LED's started to fail & go faint. I called Amazon who referred me to the manufacturer and BAM, no questions asked I had a free replacement! That's awesome. Thank you! UPDATE: March 2019 ...just over a year since the replacement clock was sent, once again the LED's are fading. Ugh. I even installed the new clock in a different location where NO sunlight hit it thinking that might have contributed, but alas the same problem is happening. Will contact the manufacturing again and hope they will replace it again. For $55 I would expect it to give me many years of trouble free use.

A nice clock to view from a distance or for people with bad eyesight. Numbers are nice and big, and bright without being glaring. You can see them in light with no problems, no washout. The temperature and date are nice editions. Clock is powered by a plug in connector, not a USB cord, and has a battery backup (2xAA). The cord is a good length and the clock has system inside to wind the cord if you don't need all the length. Setting up the clock was easy. Just a set button and up and down keys. Easy to set and your done. The built in stand puts it at a good angle too, or you can wall hang it. Overall everything I was looking for in a large display clock.

Around 6:00 PM my wife would scream at me to come in and help her with dinner. What drove her more nuts is that it takes a little time to clean up after being out in the woodshop for hours. And this all happened because I routinely loose track of time when I'm heads-down in a project. With the bright red glow from this clock illuminating the entire back corner of my woodshop I have no excuses. With excuses out of the way I now have a happy wife because I know when 5:00 PM is and have ample time to get the tools put away along with my sawdusted clothes. Aside from helping make my marriage better, this clock also helps me know when I can use finish products. Lacquers, polyurethanes, waxes, and glue like temperatures above 50 degrees F. In the winter, spring, and fall my Vermont shop can get quite chilly, so knowing when I can finish in the garage is nice. Yes, that means there is a thermometer on this clock. I wish I had noticed the thermometer only reads down to 32 degrees (freezing) because I might have looked around for a thermometer too, but after a few days all is good. The marriage is more important and it certainly does read 50 degrees.

I really like this clock I wanted it in my bedroom and it works as a clock/calendar/nightlight it is very bright. I have had it for several months now and so far I have had no issues the auto change for daylight savings worked without error and it has kept perfect time and the temp seems to read accurately. The clock was easy to hang and has not fallen or moved since the cord storage in the back is a nice feature since I did not need the full length of the cord. Really nothing I would change about it and am very happy with my purchase.

UPDATED REVIEW: Easy to program and set up. The numbers are huge. I wish it had a dimmer switch for nighttime... but it is what we were looking for. An easy to read clock in the middle of the night without reaching for our glasses. I have to revise my review. The only reason but a BOG reason is this: This clock is soooooo bright and has no dimmer switch. it lights up our entire bedroom (and we have a huge room) in a bright red glow that makes it very difficult to sleep. We have since moved it into an office. there... it is perfect! :)

I wanted a big clock for my wall. And as you can see by the 16 ounce Coke bottle in the picture, this clock is huge! Other reviewer's say it's too bright. While I will agree it's bright, you get used to it. When I first took it out of the box and hung it up, I thought it was too bright as well. But over the past week and a half I've actually had it hanging in my bedroom to test the brightness and haven't lost one minute of sleep since I hung it up. That's probably due to the red color. I think the blue would have kept me up as it would've been lighting up the room. If it's too bright for you, just get some 20% limo tint from your nearest auto parts store, or here on Amazon, and apply layers until you're happy. But if you like big clocks folks, this is the one for you, get it! :-)

Quality is good, no glaring cheap shortcuts or bad build quality. Setup is simple. Has backup battery (will store settings but not run on battery) Decent wiring solutions considering this clock needs to be hardwired The only thing is, THIS CLOCK IS REALLY REALLY REALLY BRIGHT. I placed a layer of dark tint (some cheap amazon tint somewhere between 15% and 25% probably) over the face. Used an adjustable heat gun (don't want to heat it too much) with some dish soap, water, and felt edged squeegee. Took me 3x to get it right, but now it is perfect for what i was looking for as a garage clock.

Great, huge digital clock. The numbers are incredibly bright and easy to read from across the room. It might be a little bright for some folks, but we have really loved having such a good, easy to read, clock in the bedroom now. I would definitely recommend if you want something with huge digits.

Installation on the wall definitely requires some work unless you opt to put this on a desktop. But I wouldn't recommend that because it's a little bit light and the weight of the cord might yank it from the table. Choosing a location on the wall could be a little bit limiting as the power cable is not very long (3m / 9 feet). Standard heights of walls are usually 9 feet so the cable stretches just enough to reach the power source. Therefore, a location right above a socket is almost always imperative, unless of course you have a cord extension. The LED display is definitely not as bright as the devil red eyes bright that the others have sworn but just bright enough to be visible during daytime or when the lights are on. Construction is not much of a standout as it feels like a cheap plastic and at times gave me the impression that it's frail and easily breakable. But since it will never be touched again after installation, provided it was not damaged during handling, makes its cheap plasticky feel not that big of a deal. Although I would have been willing to spend a little more if it were made of aluminum or something sturdier. Be careful when taking this clock out of its box as there are two screws that hold it onto the box that are not readily visible (transparent washers). These screws are only for fixing the clock on to the box and don't have any other functions whatsoever, as far as I'm concerned. I had no prior idea that its boxing would be like this so I just ripped it off from the box. Fortunately, One of the screws broke and it made me realize that I had to unscrew the other. The clock has sustained some damage, but since the damage was on the back and won't be visible, it didn't really matter. I was just a little disappointed because it felt like I am having a damaged good. Adjustment of time and other information was a breeze. On the back of the clock, there are three buttons: UP, NEXT, DOWN. Just press the NEXT button repeatedly to cycle through the fields. Use the UP or DOWN to increase or decrease the values, respectively. Overall, this clock fits the bill of what I wanted a clock to look like but not exactly what I was looking for. If it had the relative humidity reading, then this would have been the perfect clock for me. But since appearance for me is a little bit more important than function, I went with this clock anyway and I have no regrets. Out of 10 this is a 9, but since the scale that amazon uses is only up to 5, I had to round 4.5 off to 5.

Very nice LED Clock !!! Its display is crisp and bright, and its red numbers and data can be read very clearly at very long distances, even from far away, from the most distant point from a corner in a 130 people auditorium, where this one will be installed. Great quality, easy to set up. The temperature readings can be switched from °F to °C easily. It is not battery operated, so it has to be plugged to a regular electrical outlet. Highly recommendable!!!
