My 14 year old lab/chow (RIP) who recently passed away was a Greenies ADDICT. I am not kidding, when he was 14 years old, not much else could get him this excited. His eyes would get huge, he would pace around and start panting so hard I was afraid he was going to have a heart attack. We had been giving him Greenies since he was a puppy. He had amazing teeth- when we took him to a new vet she could not believe how old he was. She said he had the teeth of a dog half his age. We never needed any professional cleanings for him. I started to get the smaller size for him so we could give more of them, since he would get so happy about it. My other 4 year old dog also loves these. We order them monthly which has become an expensive habit, but I don't care. I attribute my other dog's long life to at least partially to his daily Greenie habit. Also, it is fun to say "want a greenie?!?!" and she completely flips out with excitement.

I ordered the petite for my Cairn Terrier who is 7 years old and not a fan of rawhides. I try to wipe her teeth but I get just the outside. Here is the build up that came off her teeth after 3 greenies. She went from having rotting breath to puppy breath after a week. These pieces are the two big ones. Two small ones fell off later. See how it's shaped around a tooth. I stopped using the wipes.

My pup loves these, possibly more than the nylabone versions we used to give him. He is an 11 lb terrier chihuahua mix, and I ordered the Petite size of these treats because he had this problem with the Mini size of the nylabone version of these treats where he would get too excited and just swallow the whole treat instead of chewing it, which defeats the purpose of giving them to him as a toothcleaning agent. Because these are bigger, he can't just swallow the entire thing at once. I watch him hold the treat between his paws and chew off small bits, like a normal dog, smacking his lips with glee. This treats are usually reserved for when he gives us a poop on a walk. Before we give it to him, we usually make him do some tricks so he has to work for it. He gets so excited that he loses control and starts doing every trick in his book because he's so frantic to please us and get us to give him the treat. It's adorable. I haven't noticed any difference in his breath, but he didn't have horrible breath to begin with. These treats were meant to help keep the plaque and tartar build up at bay, which isn't that bad to begin with because we only free him dry kibble.

Our Australian Labradoodle, Zeke, loves Greenies, and he’s particularly interested in the Blueberry flavor.

My little Italian Greyhound loves treats but hates having her teeth brushed. These little greenies are the perfect solution to getting my dog who hates having her teeth brushed, to help take care of her teeth. She's an older dog so I appreciate a little extra care in making sure the treats are yummy and small enough as well as easy to chew. She was immediately in love with these Greenies and chewed them up in a fashion where she was reaching difficult areas to clean her teeth. They were also the perfect size for a small dog and she didn't choke or gag eating these small yet plentiful treats. They have been a safe treat which she has loved and so have we. I have also noticed an improvement in her breath with these treats!! A great product. Although there is no substitute for brushing, the Greenies provide the perfect supplement to keeping my dogs teeth clean and improving her breath along with keeping her health optimum all in a little bite.

I usually get the bag of 60 small greenies all original flavor. I bought the assorted 3 flavor bags and do far my baby loves the blueberry and the fresh flavors. I would buy again.

I have a dorky--a dachshund and yorky mix. She's adorable. My baby. I love her as if she were my child and will cut someone to protect her. I'm probably crazy but she's SO ADORABLE and her eyes are super soulful and she is just so wicked smart. I've never had a dog who was this smart. Reminds me of a Dean Koontz character, really. Anyways. As much as I love her, I've not been fond of her breath smelling like an unmentionable area. More like a dozen unmentionable areas. I've tried everything you can thing of--various treats, bones, even the stuff you add to water (she's too smart and knows I spiked her water, and won't drink it). So I tried these Greenies. She loves them. And after about a week of having one each day, her breath has improved 100%. Now when she yawns from the other side of the couch I don't want to gag. I don't mind her waking me up with a single puppy kiss now. These are awesome. I'm considering giving some to my brother, and seeing if it helps his breath too.

What is in these things that makes my dog go BANANAS when I say the word "Greenie" !? My dogs gets a Greenie every night at 9p as a bedtime snack and at 8:55 she starts whining for them. If she falls asleep before her treat and I say "Greenie" she will wake from a dead slumber and bolt to the cabinet they're stored in. I have a 20-pound dog and should have bought the Petite size instead of the Regular but they weren't too big to warrant breaking in half. Inside the box, the treats are in a resealable bag that keeps them fresh. The treats are fairly soft and take my dog <10 seconds to eat them. They aim to help with teeth cleaning and I do think my dog's teeth stay fairly clean using these. I wouldn't say these are a replacement to brushing (which I've done exactly 3 times in my dog's year of life), but do help with plaque and bad breath. This price is significantly cheaper than what I've paid at big-box pet stores and is a great value!

These are very small pieces but my German shepherd mix dogs don't mind. They have never had a problem eating these. The pieces soften fast with dog saliva and then the dogs chew on these like toffee without making a mess on the floor or on themselves. It still amazes me that even my finicky dog likes these, as the primary ingredients are wheat flour, wheat gluten, glycerin, and gelatin, ingredients that aren't that nutritious for dogs Natural poultry is the 8th listed ingredient. The crude protein analysis is min 30%, a good number for active dogs like mine.

Greenies are my only choice for dental care for my two miniature longhair dachshunds. One dog has had about seven teeth pulled, severe dental problems and bad breath. I feed her Greenies Petite as well as her sister, whose teeth are fine. The dogs love them and think of Greenies as treats. Recently, I took my dog with the dental problems to see my vet. I had paid for dental surgery for her, pulling about three more teeth, costly over $1200.00. He said her teeth looked great. I also like to crumble them into fine bits and put them on my cereal. Great tasting, although I do NOT recommend anyone doing this who reads this review. Greenies are available in several sizes and flavors.Remember to keep the self sealing pouch closed to keep them soft and pliable. I HIGHLY recommend this product. I have not been given any product by Greenies. This is an independent review.
