Clear pictures - handles easily. Not an expert in these matters, but met all my expectations.

If the green light goes off too fast

The directions were very clear except ... When I started an actual scan the green "Scan" light kept going off after about 2-3 seconds. I tried and tried, reread the directions, finally called customer support and with no hesitation at all she told me to increase the speed of the scan. Obviously they've had this question before! Now it works like a charm... AND takes less time!

Great little tool

Great little tool, I am totally satisfied with this product. I love that I can carry it into a library or archive, get permission to use, and walk out with copies of the documents I needed for my research and writing. We have also found many uses for it around the house with pictures, copy making, and storing financial data. It is small, light weight, and easy to use.

Can't live without it...

For those of us who do a lot of reading and research, this tool is indispensable! I use it (literally) every day, and it has never failed to capture exactly what I want to copy. Learning to operate it takes a few minutes of practice. The functions are intuitive and easy to remember. Battery life is reasonable... I recommend Eneloop rechargeables (and always carry a spare set). Everything you need fits in the carrying case, so nothing gets lost --- unless you're unforgivably forgetful. You won't regret this purchase.

This scanner is everything that I hoped it would be. It is clear, easy to work and is compatible with my mac computer.

I have only recently received this product and so far, it meets my expectations. It has been easy to use and download files to the computer. It came with a sturdy carrying case, batteries, adapter, USB cord, and 4GB microSD card. It also included a bag in which to place the scanner if you choose not to use the carrying case. I mainly purchased this portable scanner to use when scanning pictures from various family members. I have found it to be ideal for this purpose.

Just got the item, it seems to be as described. I have only had time to do an initial test, but not an extensive test. I was able to scan a page in a magazine and it worked very well. I have not yet used any of the software that also comes with it, but it downloaded JPGs with no problem. I am hoping that the software will allow me to convert the images to OCR, but haven't had time to even look at that.
