I purchased pairs last year for three kids. We live on the arctic tundra in Alaska. Seriously. I was apprehensive, but the boots were so cheap, I thought it wouldn't hurt to take a risk as a back-up pair. My kids liked the colors and styles so much, they wore these boots exclusively throughout the snowy months (about October-March). The boots held up nicely and the kids never complained about being cold. My oldest daughter said that when she was outside for more than about an hour, when it was -30 or -40*F, her feet started to feel cold, but otherwise, they were comfy and stayed warm in extreme temperatures. I can't say how well they stand up to hours of play in the snow, but I highly recommend them for cold weather, and if they can be okay in cold weather here, they will be okay in cold weather just about anywhere.

I always read through these reviews before purchasing ANYTHING and yes some of the comments made me a little worried BUT I will tell you these boots actually DID fit PERFECTLY. I have 2 boys, a 4 year old size 11 toddler, and a 6 year old in a 12 toddler and the boots truly fit. Advice for the worriers...MEASURE YOUR CHILD'S SHOES. There are guides that tell you measurements so def use them. You won't be disappointed. Both of my children would not take these boots off when I put them on.

I couldn’t be more pleased with these. Bought them for my two year old. I didn’t realize they were rated for super cold weather, which is awesome because we live in MN. My little guy loves them. I was concerned that they’d be tough to get on his feet because they’re just slip on style. However, because he loves them he sits still for me to put them on - and even puts them on his own feet by himself. If your child has a tendency to curl their toes that may make it difficult, but otherwise I don’t see any problem with the design. The little loop on the back of he boot is helpful in pulling them onto their feet. I did buy these slightly large so he can wear thicker socks, which was probably unnecessary. But he hasn’t had any trouble walking in them. For the warmth, they’re really not overly bulky.

Worked great! We live in South Cali and don't see snow but specifically planned a trip 2 weekends in a row. The first weekend, we didn't have anything appropriate clothing wise but my daughter would have been fine with many layers had her hands and feet been dry. I ordered these with the hope that he socks would stay dry. I helped 4 kids change out of wet clothes during the second weekend. My daughter was the only one with dry under layers (thanks to some bibs I ordered https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003DBJ0PO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and dry socks thanks to these boots. For an accurate understanding, she did everything possible that would have usually causex her socks to be wet. Things like, falling through up to her knees, running, playing, and climbing along with sledding. Totally dry! I did find them to be bigger than expected based on size. My daughter wears 8s in all her other shoes so I ordered 9s expecting to have a little room for thicker socks. They fit more like a 10 or 10.5.

I got these for my 3 year old daughter and so far I have been pleasantly surprised. We live in Michigan and I always have a hard time finding winter boots for my kiddos! My husband is such a winter attire snob and usually I have to shell out a pretty penny on warmer clothes for our family to get good quality clothes. I decided to take a chance with these because they were so affordable. Well I am so glad I did! My daughter's feet have never been wet or cold while she has been wearing these! Even when she's been out side for longer periods of time! The black part on the boot is very thick and heavy duty! A little clunky so I can't image young tots walking in these. They worked out perfect for our purpose though!

So far so good. Was a bit worried after reading some reviews about the bottoms of these boots but so far these haven't shredded on the bottom for my son. We bought this brand last winter for my other son and they lasted all winter. And he wore them every day in Wisconsin winter on his school playground which typically destroys any and all winter clothes and shoes and jeans! Will continue buying this brand of boots.

As a paranoid Mama worrying about her 19mo old daughter being too cold in the snow these boots totally ease those worries. With one pair of wool socks on her feet in combination with these boots her feet are nice & warm when I take them out after an afternoon of playing in the snow in 20 degree temps. Extremely happy with these boots. The only thing I wish was that for toddler sized boots they were a little cheaper. While $30 isn’t a large sum, for those of us that only get snow a few days a year it’s still a bit more than I’d like to spend knowing she will be grown out of them come next winter & only gets a few days wear out of them this winter. Nevertheless, they do their job & kept her warm.

We really liked these boots. They were a little harder to get in to since we ordered a toddler 5 like the rest of her shoes, and then put on thicker socks, so it was a little harder to get her foot in. But that was on us and not on the shoe. If you are going to bundle the little ones up with bigger socks, I'd go up a size so that you don't fight getting their feet in. Boots stayed on great, and her feet were dry and warm when we brought her back in from playing in the snow. Would highly recommend these. Only used for probably 8 hours total so I'm not sure as far as how long they will last you as an everyday boot, but for a CA person going up to the snow once in a while it was perfect.

Bought for my almost 3 year old. This mama obviously ordered them when New England got hit by the blizzard, and when they arrived three days later the snow was already gone again.. Momfail. But, my daughter wore them on a frosty hike and loved them. The sole doesn't really bend, so I don't recommend having them on children's feet for a prolonged time, but she was super comfortable in them. They had great traction on stone and wet, icy wood. She's a 7.5 right now, so I ordered an 8, and they fit perfectly with merino wool socks. I love that they can be adjusted on the top (so no snow comes in), and again down at the foot, what helps keeping them snug.

Trying to find some affordable quality boots, and came across these. So many colours and designs. The fit is right, it looks bulky and larger than actual size but because of that, they actually do fit right, especially if your planning insulated socks for your little one. Wish the ankle straps could tighten a little more but I do like the bungie strap on top. My daughter likes them, she is 2. And we will find out how long they last. They do seem to keep my daughter feet warm and dry. Pictures are to show look and style. Practicality her snow pant would cover the boot. ;)
