Probably one of the best products I've ever purchased - if for nothing else the peace of mind it brings me. I bought this a few years after starting my job and learning how much I was going to have to fly. I always carry it with me in my purse; I keep it in the velvet blue bag through check-in, and then take it out of the bag and tuck it into my purse for easy access after I take my plane seat. Like other comments, the seat belt is black and doesn't match the seat's belt, so I always wear a light weight long sweater or scarf to cover it, while leaving the original belt exposed. I feel confident no flight attendants or other passengers haven't noticed - with everyone getting on board and off, they're too busy worrying about themselves. One other thing I do is wear a super small cross body bag during the flight, so it's easy to unclick and stow away the extender with no one noticing. I've used the extender to Delta, United, and American with no issues.

90% of the time, my seatbelt fits fine (some tighter than others). It's that 10% that is terrifying. I fly a ton, and occasionally, the seat belt is just the tiniest bit too small. The worst feeling in the world is to have to ask for the extender. It is for this reason I bought this and keep it in my travel bag. I never fly SouthWest (thankfully), and have never had a problem on USAir or United with it. It comes in a small carry bag and only takes up about the same amount of space in briefcase as an apple would. Of course, if I ate more apples, I wouldn't need one of these. :) Seriously though, it works great and is perfect for those of us who need it.

I wear a women's 26 size pants. It is sometimes embarrassing to ask for a seat extender when I just need an inch or two more from the seatbelt. This is a nice way to discreetly add length without anyone knowing. Worked well on the American Airlines flight I've taken.

I really hate that I sometimes need this. 98% of the time, seat belts fit me just fine on flights. It's that 2%, usually on smaller planes, where I'm nervous and embarrassed and very uncomfortable. This thing makes me compliant and comfy. I usually wear flowy clothing, so I can surreptitiously add this to the extender. Once I was stuck between two strangers, but both gentlemen were kind and didn't comment when I nonchalantly slipped this out of my bag and put it on. I've never had any flight attendants give me a hard time either. When they ask me to lift my jacket so they can see that my belt is on, they see the belt and move on. If you're working towards losing weight but have to travel in the meantime, this is really great. It's inconspicuous and keeps you from feeling unsafe, or sliced down the middle.

I use this seatbelt extender whenever I travel; usually on United. I keep it in my purse outside pocket, and then discretely attach it during the "fasten seatbelt" drill. I've used it at least 5 times now, and never had a problem.

It can be embarrassing having to ask for a seat belt extender, there are so many negative stereotypes and some stewards and stewardesses make you feel ashamed to ask. There are many reasons why a person might need an extender, for instance I have a bad back and require a support pillow at my lower back to keep the trip from being a painful experience. That means I'm sitting farther away from the seat and the clip of the airline belt usually hits right between my thigh and the seat arm, not above or below. Having the extender allows me the freedom to adjust not only the belt, but my back pillow, it has saved me many an uncomfortable journey. The extender seems to be made from the same material as the airline seat belts, it is black however. The description says its certified but I'm not sure who did the certification, they don't really spell that out. Most airlines don't like you to use external equipment so be aware you could have issue with airline personnel. I have used it on most Alaska planes and only once did it not fit. It was one of the small commuter planes and the seat belt has a smaller head. I have also successfully used it on American and Delta. The little pouch makes it easy to carry around and conceal in your carry-on bag. To your seat mate it probably looks like you've got you tech power supply in a bag. Regardless of the reason a person needs an extender safety should be an airlines first priority, a person who is made to feel uncomfortable when asking for one is likely to go without buckling up.

Very fast shipping! I used the belt this past weekend on American Airlines and it worked just fine. No problem going through security, at two different airports, either. You can use this belt very discretely. It is sure nice when you know you can take care of this situation without having to ask the stewardesses for help and thus broadcast to everyone what you need! Thank you. It relieves some of the stress of travel.

I flew on United and American Airlines with this with no hassle. Fit the buckles and gave me extra wiggle room. I am a size 22.

I'm fat! this was just the right size. it gave me the extra inches i needed to be able to fasten my seat belt on the plane. I had no problem carrying it on the plane and it came with a small blue carry bag. if fit the plane seat belts on both ends with no problem. If your "juicy" like me and you need a few extra inches on the plane seat belt its worth every penny.

I purchased this since not all of the planes have seatbelts that fit me. It's a bit frustrating at times, as I can go from one plane where I have no problems fitting to another where I do. I've flown on both Delta and United and this fit the planes I used for both airlines. I'd mark which specific planes were used, but I don't have that information handy at the moment. I'll try to update this later with that, if possible. This really is a time and embarrassment saver, moreso on the time than embarrassment since the air hosts are typically very busy when you'd need to ask for their extender.
