• THE COMPLETE SOLUTION by offering Built-in Sway Control Without Requiring Add-on hassles
  • SWAY CONTROL AND WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION IN ONE SYSTEM: Reducing the need for old chain-style hitches that don’t provide built-in sway control and add-ons that are a hassle to remove when backing up and making tight turns
  • NO BACKING OR TURNING RESTRICTIONS: No matter the weather or the angle, leave the e2 attached, unlike many other hitches
  • COMES IN TRUNNION AND ROUND BAR MODELS: Whatever your towing style is, the e2 hitch creates a bridge between the trailer and vehicle, helping them work together like one unit instead of two, distributing weight to the axles of both vehicles
  • SECURITY AND PEACE OF MIND WITH QUALITY CRAFTMANSHIP AND A 10 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY: With an e2, your front axle will stay firmly on the ground to keep your trailer right behind you, providing better control and an enjoyable trip

The E2 is a good hitch. In fact, I'm on my second one (had to part with the first when I sold our last trailer). With that said, be wary of misaligned welded parts. The photo shows the head piece. As you can see, the welded U-channel (which holds the shank) isn't square by a longshot. The result - besides looking cockeyed - will be that the two bars won't be putting the same force on the L-brackets. I don't care for that. I've sent an inquiry to Fastway to see how I can resolve this. If I get a favorable response, I'll edit this & up my rating. I really hope that's the case because I like these hitches & was sure happy with my first one. Update: Fastway Customer Service promptly sent a new head + a box & prepaid label to return the misaligned head. The new head is welded square & works perfectly. Terrific customer service to go with a great product. I've changed my rating to 5-star!

I purchased a 23' toy hauler to hookup to my 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. Now, the truck towed this trailer well, with nothing than a ball and security chains, but everyone kept telling me to get a sway or WD system, just in case. I purchased this system, after doing many online searches and reading reviews. For the price, the quality and the features this system provide, it was the pick. PRO: Easy install. You may need to buy a larger wrench than most have, but they are cheap and you can do it yourself. My buddy and I knocked it out in about 20 mins one night, when we were working on another project at my house. Easy instructions and just a couple tools needed. Easy hookup and removal from towed vehicle. Large hitch will protect your bumper from unexpected objects when not towing. Well made, nothing will break. Very good sway control. In winds of 40+ from left to right, I can feel the trailer pull the truck, but never sway back and forth. Resets back in-line perfectly. CONS: Small sounds when turning after the first 500 miles used. Nothing bad, just startles you at first, when you don't expect it. Simply the sway bars working. The hitch is large and causes my rear backup sensors to see it, thinking I am an inch from something. Kinda sucks, but I could just remove it... however I like the bumper protection. :) Install of the bars can be hard, but if you use the trailer, its easy. Keep the trailer above the ball, install the bars, then lower the trailer. Bars go on easy, and the bars take the load as you lower the trailer. Reverse steps on removal. My wife does this, has no issues with hookups. No hand bar needed to install sway bars this way. VERY light work needed.

Bought this awhile ago but just installed it today as I’m about to take a road trip with my camper. I have a small Coleman single axle camper, pulling it with a 2018 Toyota 4Runner. Dry weight on camper is just over 3,000 pounds. I pulled it without the weight distribution once. Just using the tension style bracket on the side of the tongue to the small ball beside the 2 5/16 ball. That helped with sway. However, after getting this new weight distribution/anti sway hitch on it drives totally different. The 4Runner drives just like it normally would, as if the trailer isn’t even there. Aside from when accelerating of course. Sway is gone. Only the occasional gust of wind is even felt. No more weaving around. No more bottoming out the rear springs. If you are contemplating if you need a weight distribution hitch, get this one. It works amazingly, setup takes a bit of time. I followed a YouTube video and it went smoothly. Only had to adjust once to fit my tow vehicle height from the base setting. I won’t ever tow a camper without one again.

I pull a trailer all day everyday, but when I bought my camper it was a whole different world. The heavy tongue weight made the truck squat really bad and it swayed so bad that you could only run around 54 mph max. I read lots of reviews on weight distribution hitch’s and antisway add on, but I wasn’t impressed. In my opinion the 4way equalizer hitch is the best option, but it was almost $700, so I decided to go with this hitch the E2. I feel this is the best bang for your buck, super nice quality, heavy duty hitch. Lots of reviews said it was noisy but it’s not, you do not have to remove the ares when backing and the install manual is step by step, making it a breeze to install. In addition to all this the main thing that blew my mind was at how it made the truck and camper so balanced. No sway, no bounce and made the ride of my F250 so comfortable, as if the trailer wasn’t even behind the truck. In closing I don’t see the need to buy the 4 way $700 equalizer Hitch when this hitch is half price and works great!

absolutely the best hitch for the money, installed it myself in about an hour, totally fix my sway problem I had with the reese pro series hitch,im pulling a 6200 lb 28 ft rockwood ultra light with a dodge 1500 ram hemi, pulls it 70 mph with no sway,i would definitely recommend this product at the $273 price tag on amazon as apposed to $429 at the RV store.

I never though a weight-leveling, anti-sway hitch would make much difference in my towing experience. Boy was I wrong! This hitch has made pulling my 26ft camper a breeze. It stops the sway on the interstate, especially when the big semis go by. It helps in the turns, stopping the g-force pull on the hitch. It limits a great deal of the bouncing that is normally felt. And, it is good to know that my front wheels are squarely on the ground and level with my back tires, assuring better steering and braking. If you don't have one of these, you are really missing out. You won't know how much you wanted (and possibly needed) this hitch until you get one...or have a bad situation where you need one! Install this hitch!

This hitch worked very well. I had a 37ft travel trailer. I was pulling it with a 07 Dodge 3/4 ton. Truck had no problem pulling it but the sway and bounce was horrible. Added this and it took care of that problem. Fairly easy to set up and easy to hook up. Definitely a big help.

I've owned a couple of camp trailers and never had an issue with swaying. However, my recent purchase of a 24-foot trailer has changed that. I also bought a new truck and decided it was time to implement some sway control and weight distribution. I'm driving a 2003 F-250 4-door short bed, hauling a 24-foot Fleetwood Pioneer camp trailer. The hitch really helps to join the two in a way that feels extremely solid, reducing sway and bounce, while also distributing the weight off the rear of the truck. It's so much more comfortable driving with this setup! I've even driven in some moderately heavy winds and didn't experience any sway. I wish I'd tried a weight-distribution hitch earlier just due to the stability it adds.

I bought a camper in March 2017 and didn't want to spend $800+ at the dealership for a weight distribution system. The price on Amazon seemed very reasonable, so I decided to take a chance and buy this. This was easy to install by myself. The YouTube videos from the manufacturer were very helpful. It did the trick. My Traverse did not sag in the back. I used it to pull my camper all summer, travelled about 2,000 miles with it on Interstates, doing about 70 mph and did not notice any issues or any sway. My camper has a dry weight of 3,800 lbs and a length of about 28 ft. Very glad I bought this and saved over $600.

We bought this in early 2017 for our new camper. My husband installed it on the trailer before leaving the sales lot and hitting the road. We have had no problems with it. Packaging was in tact and secure when we received it. All parts were in the box. He did buy the plastic pads to reduce noise. Overall good quality product and good experience for us.
