• Protects PS Vita from bumps and scratches
  • Storage space for games and small accessories
  • Durable EVA material and soft fabric lining

I wanted a simple case for traveling to protect the screen instead of just tossing my Vita into a backpack, and this one fit the bill. The case includes enough room for a handful of games or memory cards (although at the price of the Vita memory cards do people really have more than one?), and it also includes a coupe of straps to hold the Vita in place. I've found I don't use the straps and instead I just set the Vita in the case before closing it, but it would be a nice option if you were concerned about it falling out as you unzipped it. Perhaps this could be an issue if you opened the case upside down. There is also a loop for small carabiner (the actual carabiner is included) so you can clip it onto a bag or belt loop if you really desire. I won't use this feature myself as I'd feel more comfortable with it being out of sight in a bag or backpack, but it is nice to have options. The case does offer some protection as it is semi-hard. It isn't a full rigid plastic, but it also has some form to it so it isn't thin like a sleeve style protective wrap. I wouldn't want to sit on my Vita even if it was in this case, but if I dropped it a couple of feet, this may be sufficient protection to prevent a broken screen (and would surely prevent scratches to the screen). I should also mention the Vita fits in this very well - it is snug and won't bounce around or rub on anything, so that is a positive. This is pretty much everything I wanted in a case so I'm glad I didn't spend two or three times more for a different option. If there are any negatives at all it might be taht the case isn't large enough to hold the stock Vita charger, but since I generally travel with various USB chargers and at least one micro USB cable this isn't a concern. The case can hold a USB cable but the charger itself needs to go elsewhere. All things considered this is a great value and I'd buy it again.

For the price it won't get much better than this. I just wanted something to keep my Vita safe while out and about. As someone else suggested in one of the reviews, don't use the elastic bands, just let the vita sit on top of them and then zip up the case. The problem is to use the bands you have to force the vita into the case and I just don't feel comfortable doing that as i'm trying to have the Vita last for many years to come. The case is solid and well built and I feel confident that dropping this a few feet up with my vita inside will do next to nothing to the Vita.

I wanted a case that would protect my Vita (PCH-2000), from being crushed in my backpack. I carry in my backpack a 15.6in gaming laptop, its huge charger, a 3DS (which is in it's own case), and I also commute 3 hours on the bus. Thus, I've been looking for a case that isn't too heavy or bulky so it will actually fit with all my other stuff, but still be able to protect my vita against the other things in my backpack and the occasionally roughhousing on the bus. This case has does the job wonderfully! It will be a tight fit if you try to fit the Vita (specifically, PCH-2000), through the elastic band holders at the bottom. But just laying the Vita on top of them works just fine. The little game cartridges go in and out of those 4 little slots easily as well and the hard outer shell is very sturdy! The one I ordered did smell kind of like smoke or something. But a couple sprays of Febreze fixed that just fine. I definitely recommend it!

While the straps are a bit of a bother, I just throw my Vita in on top of the straps and it closes just fine. Securing it would be good for traveling/camping/etc., but for just keeping it safe in the house, they really aren't necessary. Very sturdy, I truly feel like my Vita is safe in this thing should anything ever happen. Seeing how well-made it is, I honestly can't believe how cheap it was. Definitely the best I could have bought. I wish the game pouches were see-through; when I get a larger collection of games, it'll be a slight hassle to figure out which is which. But really not a problem, considering how perfect this case is in every other way. I own the newest Vita system, and it fits snuggly without being squeezed into place (I was worried it would be too tight and press on the power button, but it doesn't). I feel so much better about the safety of my Vita now that I own this case.

This case is absolutely fantastic! The Vita slim fits perfectly in this case and there is no room for it to slide around. The straps are great and do not mess with the analog sticks. The left strap rests on the "on" part of Sony and the right strap rests just past the black border of the screen. In order to place the Vita in the case safely, simply lift one strap up while placing one side of the Vita in. Then grab the other strap and put it over the Vita. To safely take it out, lift one strap and carefully take that side of the Vita and put it above that strap. Then simply grab the other strap and then slide the Vita out. It's pretty simple and the straps safely secure the Vita in the case. The stitching for the area to hold games isn't all that great, but it works well enough to be used. Although that area isn't of the best quality, it's understandable with the price point. My purpose for this purchase was for the protection of my Vita and in that regard, this product serves me well. Overall, I highly recommend this case!

I can store up to 4 game cards inside it (in the flap it has inside) and it also has a little "mesh" bag to store other games (that's what I am going to do at least) The outside of the case feels soft tothe touch and the inside is also soft. No risk of scratching your PS Vita. It has 2 elastic straps that makes it even more secure. Someone said you can play with your vita inside this case, that is true to some extent... but if you need the bumpers or the back touch screen then you won't be able to use it (Frobisher Says and Mod Nation are 2 games that I have that can't be played while the console is inside the case) The construction feels solid and protective. I haven't tested it... I'm not crazy, but I trust it enough to throw it inside my backpack without worrying that my pens are going to scratch the screen or that the weight of the ASUS ROG is going to crush it. If you're looking for an inexpensive and solid case, I recommend this. 5/5 stars

My number one concern and one mentioned by others, I found completely unfounded. The bands don't get in the way at all. They hold the Vita in. If they annoy you, cut them out. No big deal. The hard shell is sturdy enough. I wouldn't drive over the box, but it feels safe when tossed in luggage or a backpack and I wouldn't have any concern if I dropped it. It doesn't have much in the way of storage space, but the Vita doesn't really need much. I doubt you could fit the charger and adapter in there, but just the cable would work as well as a few games and memory cards. Definitely not disappointed with such an inexpensive purchase. Unrelated rant: Now, can Sony do something about those memory cards? I keep getting free games via PS plus and my 16 GB card is already full. It's less than a month old and my memory card is already full and I've only spent $10 buying two games. PS Plus gives free games, but you pay in the end with the memory cards for Vita.

Good protective case for your vita. Quality is acceptable, place for game storage and regular earbuds. Also non bulky. There isn't room for a charger, Bluetooth earbuds and ,at my age, I need reading glasses and can't get them to fit in here. That however is not a problem because, that would make it bulky. The elastic that holds the vita in place is probably unnecessary. It would be nice to be able to play with the system in a cover of some kind without having to remove it, but this is the next best thing It works well, 9.99 is definitely a good price too, I can't imagine you will find something better for that price.

First, I detected no funny smell from this. It smells like nylon or vinyl. Nothing offensive. I use the straps sometimes, and just ignore them other times. Depends on how much I think the thing will be bounces around in my bag. If you just put the device on top of the straps, they hide out of the way. The case holds the device snugly, and is very well padded. The zipper is stable, closes easily, and doesn't jam or open on its own. I think that's important for a case like this. I highly reccomend keeping the little baggie the clasp comes in. It's perfect for storing the super-tiny Sony storage cards. Then you can stuff that in the webbed area and have them together with your system and not easily lost in the case. I find no use for the clasp, but as clasps go, it's a nice, sturdy one. It's large enough for the AR cards to sit in the top compartment, though a slot for them might have been nice. They don't fit in the webbed area--not quite. It's a good, basic case.

Nice case. I was looking for something not to big, but would protect my Vita. This fits both requirements very well. Not a lot of room for storage, but I wasn't look for that type of case. There is enough to old several games, a charging cable and an adapter so you can charge it from a common USB wall charger. PISEN USB battery charge adapter/converter for Sony Playstation PS Vita with Cosmos Fastening Strap. Wanted something that I could put the Vita in and through it in my backpack and not have to worry about it. I would recommend it to a friend.
