Yeah, so I'm a big guy. In all directions. I'm kinda tall and I'm wide and I'm totin' some tonnage, so you wonder whether this thing is up to the task. It is. For us biggins, the extra width of this is welcome, the length is nice, and it's pretty comfortable. It's also easy to setup and foldup. I used it for about 15 nights last summer and so far so good. We'll see how well the springs hold up over time, but I'm optimistic so far. If you're oversized, this is the way to go.

Fits real sized people! Comfort at a nice price

I'm a repeat buyer of these cots. One wa purchased 2 years ago at a higher price from a sporting goods store. It's held up very well, it's easy to set up and take down for travel. We use them camping. I purchased 2 more here on Amazon for a much better price and Prime shipping. These cots come with nice cushion pad for comfort, you can just fold it right up inside of the cot, they aren't so bulky you need a separate bag to protect them when not in use, yet they provide a nice level of comfort. My husband and I are "real" sized adults, and these are roomy enough for those of us that are a bit on the rounded fluffy side! Nice cots at a nice price.

Comfy

What can I say, this bed is a huge upgrade from an air mattress. There is no need to improve on the mattress what so ever. As of this post, I haven't had any prolonged use, but right after unboxing I laid on it, and never wanted to get up. The size of this thing is quite a bit bigger than I might have wanted, but you can't complain when you have comfort while camping.

Assuming you've put this in your cart, here we go... I am pretty picky when it comes to my sleeping conditions. My husband and I have a memory foam hybrid mattress at home, so when we decided to go on a camping trip I told him we had to find something comfortable to sleep on. I was tired of the money pit that air mattresses are- they always ALWAYS deflate and I have yet to find one that holds up for more than a handful of nights- even if it's on a clean, flat floor in our home. I began researching cots and came across these. I am so happy I did! The pad that comes on top is really comfortable and the canvas portion of the cot has a lot of give, so it feels much more like a bed. We purchased two of these and will be using them pushed together. When two are pushed together they almost make a queen size bed. Amazon must have heard the complaints about the packaging these are shipped in because ours came in two very durable cardboard boxes. If you are tired of air mattresses and such or are needing a portable bed of sorts, THIS IS IT! **UPDATE 8-25-2017** These cots are STILL AMAZING! We have toted these things around many places and had many overnight guests sleep on them. They are still by far the most comfortable portable bed option. Despite currently being 38 weeks pregnant, I still find these cots to be wonderfully comfortable and have slept on them several times throughout my pregnancy. Thanks for an awesome product, Coleman!

Daily Use For Several Weeks

Very comfortable. Using in tandem with a lightweight sleeping bag for indoor use. Purchased this cot in lieu of buying furniture for a temporary living situation. I've been sleeping on this cot for 10-12 days at a time while working remotely and find it to be very comfortable. My roommate purchased one, too. Both cots have been used for over a month with no problems. I'm 200 pounds, 6'1", and my roommate is 250 lbs and about 6'. The lightweight cot is easy to fold up and transport, sets up in under a minute, and is very comfortable for extended use. I would definitely buy again.

Wonderful comfy cot with pad

Got 2 of these for my husband and I for tent camping. Love the mattress, very comfortable. I don't need anything more than what's provided. We both have back issues and cervical issues, so this is a really terrific find. And they are very easy to fold and store. One has to remember that to store the mat on the underside (under the metal fold-up legs) to fit properly and conveniently. I had no problem with the velcro strap fitting so long as it's collapsed this way (mat underneath, not on top of cot).

I would buy this again

my grand daughter loves to sleep on her 'camp-out' bed when she spends the night at my house. she's 7 and my guest room is at the other end of the house, too far away from the bathroom but also just too far away from her grandma. but now I just set this up at the foot of my bed and she's good to go. my 24 year old daughter has also used it for weekend at a cabin with her friends where there was only 1 bed and a couch. so several of them were sleeping on the floor in sleeping bags on blow up rafts or air mattress. they were jealous of how much more comfortable the cot was that an air mattress! and very quick to put up and out of the way the next morning. the only thing I would wish for is a case or cover for storing it and protecting it from dust and dirt. although it does wipe down easily. my mother is going to making a cover for it out of some leftover thick denim material.

Great cot.

Great cot. Purchased it for our granddaughters for when they visit since we do not have enough beds. Our oldest slept all night with no problems. Of course that might be because she is a teenager and they can sleep anywhere. Lol

Great Cot for a Big Man

Purchased this for trips I go on with the Boy Scouts - I'm a 6 foot , 275lb man and i just tested this on a 2 day float trip. I never slept so well on a camp out. I've used more traditional cots before and what I like about this design its a way more flat cot then one where you sort of sag in. The flat design allows you to easily sleep on your sides or on your stomach which is how I sleep. The extra pad was nice I'm probably going to replace it with a Gel Memory foam that should add even more comfort. I was able to store more large duffel bag under it with no issues. Its a little lower to the ground than other cots out there. It folds up really easy and seemed pretty light for carrying. It only folds in half so packing the car took a little more strategy. I actually sat more full cooler and my camping box on top of it and it held up fine. Great cot for a bigger man. Going on a 10 Day - 10 night camp out in a few weeks and will report back

nice closure, sturdy and stable

I ordered Coleman Cot when it was on the deal of the day, for my studio apartment. I made a mattress from blue foam, but THIS COMES WITH a thin (inch or two) plaid topper. Mine is as comfortable as a bed, but smaller (it even has a bed skirt) but I took it off for the photo. I like its easy to carry closure, I seldom move mine but if I were using it for camping or company that would be a definite asset, it is light weight too. I however, am not "lightweight" I weighed 250 when I first started sleeping on this cot, now 230 and it was and is sturdy.
