Copic Earth Essentials (B41, B45, E34, E39, YG13, and YG17)
I have been wanting to own the Copic Sketch Earth Essentials 6-pack of markers for many months. Copics are pricey so $24.99 for six markers was a good deal to me and I bought the pack. The colors that are in the set are: B41 (powder blue), B45 (smoky blue), E34 (toast), E39 (leather), YG13 (chartreuse), and YG17 (green grass). B45 appears to be the juiciest marker from the packet and B41 feels less moist. So far I’ve been using the two blues the most and already I feel as if I will need a refill for B41 soon. In my non-professional opinion for people who are new to Copic markers: Copic markers are alcohol-based markers, which means you can blend the colors together without pilling the paper (unlike water-based markers). However this doesn’t mean you can blend any colors together. The starting point is the letter on the marker which indicates the color family. So colors in the same color family will blend well with other colors in the same family. However, if you have a very light color and wish to blend it with a very dark color I find I need a third or fourth marker in mid-tones to make the transition work. Two colors in the same family that are close together will blend without an additional mid-tone marker. For people who are curious about Copic markers or need help using them YouTube videos and online blogs are a great way to learn. Most of all you have to practice using them. As I said above, I’m not a professional artist so I do not have any plans to own all the markers and refills (there are 358 colors so no thank you). I plan before I buy new markers (and the corresponding refills). A new marker must complement the ones I already own and suit my level and style of coloring (I’m an amateur colorist), so too many colors will become overwhelming and frankly a waste of money. I love my Copics and if it wasn’t for these I would have to give up coloring. I started out coloring using coloring pencils but by wrist was in pain and then as I doing more coloring I developed a pain in my shoulder. I switched to Copic markers and the pain in my wrist and shoulder went away. So it’s all good. I bought my first Copic marker in December 2019 or January 2020. Now I own too many to count, plus I have the refills for all the markers I own. Buying Copics is like falling down a rabbit hole, once you’re in you’re in for a lifetime of expense, and your collection will breed like rabbits. Haha.

Ok, I gave in...been using Prisma markers because of the brush and small nib combo...but...Copics are where it's at!!! They feel comfortable in the hand, they lay down extremely well, they definitely live up to the hype! Thankful.

It's actually worth the price!
When my teenage brother asked for Copic Sketch Markers for his birthday, I raised an eyebrow at the price and wondered about what made these markers special. But after seeing the beautiful illustrations he's done since I got him the two sets (Perfect Primaries and Pale Pastels) last May, I totally get it. He's been using these markers for months and still no signs of needing refill. He says they're really comfortable to hold, easy to work with and the ink dries nicely.

Good
My daughter is really into drawing. She had asked for these for Christmas. Of course I was a bit shocked at the price. But you know how the xmas list goes! Anyway...she says they are great. That's good enough for me. If you find it hard to say no to your daughter about these type of requests, then these are good.

Beautiful Copic colors
One of the best Copic marker sets out there and I own over 260 Copic sketch markers.

Vibrant & Juicy!
These are NOT "just markers"! These are vibrant, juicy, and lively colored markers. Even the lighter shades have some *oomph!* to them. Be sure to use the correct type of paper so that the color sits on top. If you don't then the paper will drink the ink and the ink will seriously bleed through the page and onto the next sheet. My daughter and I are artists and we love them. We ooohed and ahhhed while trying them. (My son thought we had both gone mad!) I will be buying them all. Not from from Amazon though. Probably from dickblick.com. COPIC. IS. IT.

Great money friendly way to start building a Copic marker ...
Great money friendly way to start building a Copic marker collection. The blending of these markers always looks better to me than the blending results I get from competitor markers. Make sure to sure proper paper to get the best blending results.

Work Great
These are only my 2nd set of Copics. I've gotten great results. They are very pastel and they work wonderfully. Now, I'm ready for a 12 pack of darker colors. You won't be disappointed and these are the kind that are refillable for ink and both nibs are replaceable. You will need special paper that can handle alcohol based markers.

Worth it
The kid has been asking for these markers for a while, but I’ve been hesitant given the hefty price tag. The kid has prismacolor markers and every sharpie known to man, so when I finally broke down & bought these, I figured she’d be a pretty good judge of quality. Kid says they’re totally with the price & hasn’t had a better marker. Bummer, I guess I’ll be buying more... at least Amazon has the markers for a decent price. Keep an eye on them, as the price does fluctuate.
