I had previously bought some of these bowls from a pet store for $4.99. I bought 2 more from amazon. The cost was 23 cents higher but saved me a trip. The label is easily removed. I usually use it with the 3 oz can of Fancy Feast but it will hold a full 5.5 oz of wet food. Easy to clean and it has some weight to it and it has a sort of rubber on the bottom to help prevent sliding all over the place. Cats eat out of it with no problem.

I foster cats and kittens and I'm very happy with these bowls. They are durable and stand up to hand and dishwasher washing. They don't scratch easily, I have 6 and have yet to scratch 1 even washing and feeding more than once a day. I bought them before I researched them thoroughly, but I'm happy to say that they are biodegradable, except for perhaps the silicone. I contacted the company about the content of the bowls and this is the information they gave me: Thank you for contacting us. The ECO products are made from a plastic resin substitute called bio-composite, which consists entirely of plant material. 92%-95% is made of plant fibers from bamboo grass and rice husks. 5%-8% is made of an organic binding agent (glucose/amino acids). The ECO products are degradable back to the earth. I hope this information is helpful. Donna L. Conklin Van Ness Pet Products 400 Brighton Road Clifton, NJ 07012-1013 U.S.A.

I've tried several different bowls to serve our five cats their morning breakfasts and NONE come close to being as perfect for us as these. They are super easy to clean and have enough room for the cat food (and the sides are low enough for the cats to get every bite) without spilling over. I use them everyday at home and even make sure to pack them for road trips. I don't bother with the other bowls.

I thought there was something wrong with our cat, Zia, who would either push the wet food around the bowl or take the entire paté out and eat it on the floor. She was a completely ineffective eater. I received this bowl two days ago and was amazed to see Zia eat her food in record time - the bowl licked clean! It's the same food, just a different bowl. The bowl is shallow and nicely sloped, which much be why it works so well! Happy Zia!

My cat Toby who is very spoiled , but very sweet🤯, and I love him so much I usually try to make him happy. When I first adopted him he would clean his bowl fully with whatever food I gave him. My husband had recently passed away suddenly and I was downsizing so I moved about two weeks after I adopted Toby. Suddenly, he stopped eating most of his food (he always has dry food all day). I tried one of the Gravy Lover’s and he ate around every piece of food and left the food. I then found the bisques and stews and he seems to love them. Now I found the Rachel Ray soup dinners (no thanks to Rachel Ray because she usually has ads for dog food only) and another brand of soups is cups. Toby really loves the chicken and butternut squash. This bowl fits these soups and Toby, who always lets me know when he is done by moving his bowl around and turning it over. He broke five of his ceramic bowls in the last couple of months). I bought the metal bowls with the silicone ring at the base and I happened upon these so I threw one right in my order because I figured, hell how good could it be for the price. This bowl, blew me away. It is sturdier with an entire silicone base and it will not move all around when he is eating. The metal bowls with the slim silicone ring at the bottom were (1) more expensive, (2) they said dishwasher safe and they tell you to remove the silicone ring before putting them in the dishwasher (3) the ring is not sturdy enough to withstand putting it on and off every time you wash it, which for me would be every day and this bowl has silicone on the bottom and up the sides about 1/3 of the way. At that price I am buying 3 more! I will come in for an update after Toby gives me HIS opinion of the bowl! It’s Christmas Eve right now with ten minutes til Christmas. I am going to tell him it is one of his Christmas presents and he will dine with his new dish. . Happy Holidays to all! BTW....One of the sellers here on Amazon is selling these bowls at $2.93-$2.98 ( but definitely not over $3). I have now purchased a total of five of these dishes for my one cat😍! I have purchased so many dishes in the five years since I adopted Toby. These bowls are a great for serving anything your serve your fur babies. Toby has taken a liking to fresh spinach, so I will put a few pieces separately for dinner. Happy New Year 1/18/19. 😊

These work very nicely for feeding our cats wet food. They are nicely weighted and combined with the silicone bottom, don't get scooted around the floor quite as easily while the cats ravenously push forward to hoover up every molecule. The outer ring of the inside of the bowl is nicely rounded so the cats have an easier time eating food that gets pushed to the edges. The only thing I don't like about this bowl is the cartoon cat face is kind of unnerving. I know the cats don't care, but I would be unsettled if a face loomed out at me from my plate.

Both my cats seem to like their new dishes which I use to give them their mid-day snack. Prior to this, one was using an old ceramic cat dish that had so many crazed lines that I feared it might be harboring some bacteria. The other was using one of my few Corelle small sauce dishes I was sure I'd drop it one of these days. Anyone who has old Corelle knows how breaks into a million tiny shards of glass when you break it, so I knew it was only a matter of time. Cleaning them by hand is really easy and I just love that they're 47% bamboo and biodegradable. Shortly after buying them I read a very alarming story about the amount of plastic we use in this world and I have always worked on using biodegradable items whenever I can. The article convinced me that my family should be eating out of these dishes!! Additionally, because I'm Super Klutz, I'm glad that if I drop these dishes on my tile floor, they won't break. That's reassuring. Oh, and most importantly, once my female cat made sure her brother was eating out of the same kind of dish she was, neither of them had any problems adjusting to the dishes. Now, I'm just wondering what my husband would think about eating out of them, as well.......

I bought one to try it out, and liked it so much that I bought three more, one for each of our four cats. Although our ceramic bowls that we had before were cuter because they were in the shape of a cat face, they did not hold up very well. They had lots of chips from me accidentally hitting them together when we washed them. These Ecoware cat bowls do NOT chip, and they do not slide around on the floor, which makes it easy for our kitties to get every bite of their wet food. When I have dropped them on our tile floor, they bounce, but do NOT crack or break. For me, clean up is important too, and they are very easy to wash. The surface is smooth, so food doesn't seem to stick to them. The only suggestion that I can think of is that it would be nice if they also offered pink bowls for girl kitties.

These are perfect. I have an older cat who has seizures, and sometimes the plinking sound of a ceramic or glass dish being placed on the tile triggers her seizures. It's the weirdest thing, but so sad. We've looked high and low for a smallish, cute saucer that wasn't 17 thousand dollars. These are perfect and make zero sound when placed on the tile. Plus they are easy to clean and do well in the dishwasher. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I have another enormous cat with a giant head, and these are shallow enough for him to eat comfortably without moving the bowl all around with his giant head. Weird stuff, but hey .... gotta make the kittens cozy.

Great little dish at a bargain price. Its a bit sickening to look through a lot of the other pet dishes listed for $12 - $13 or more, which is absurd as they probably cost only a dollar or two to make. Just about everything you can buy that is labeled for "pets" is way overpriced - greedy capitalists taking advantage of our love for our pets.
