Such a neat little starter tool kit for a toddler. My little wasn't very interested in it at first, but then a few months went by and he thinks it's the greatest ever! Some parts are small and I put those away for a while, however, that did not stop the building, hammering, etc.

My 11 month old plays with the bigger pieces in this set every day. The quality is great and takes a lot of wear and tear. He tries to share it with our dog on a regular basis so I probably wash it once a day and it has held up to the abuse and frequent washing very well.

Great tool kit. Sturdy, all wood design. My 2-yr old son enjoys it, and I'm sure it will provide entertainment for years to come. I can recommend, as there is really nothing to dislike here.

I bought the Workshop for my grandson and this toolbox for me to have at my house when he visits. It teaches the same basic tool and assembly skills as the Workshop but lets you stress learning the importance of putting tools away where they belong.

I bought this set for my 15 month old daughter. She loves playing with all the pieces and my husband likes helping her hammer the nails into the sides. Very pleased. All the Hape toys are very well made too.

Of all my hrandson's Christmas gifts, he likes this one best. First thing each day, he gets his hammer and carries it around with him. He is only 18 months and the minute he got the hammer, he started banging on things.

Beautifully made. Excellent quality. My 3 year old son and 4 year old daughter both love this toy - but bought it for my son. Just enough stuff to keep him busy and not overflow the "toy room." Love the bright colors! My son loves the hammer! Great price too. Will definitely buy more Hape products.

I got this for my son on his second birthday and both he and my daughter loved it so much I had to buy a second! My 2 year old is a bit too young to build things but he likes putting the screws in the holes and using the tools to pretend. My 3 year old daughter who's pretty mechanically inclined can put multiple pieces together. You definitely don't get enough pieces with the toolbox to build many things, if you have a younger toddler thats probably ok but for older preschoolers you might want to supplement with one of their builder kits. Grandma is buying them the matching tool bench for Christmas because of how big a hit this toy is at our house. I definitely recommend this for any kid that would like to have their own tools or enjoys building stuff.

My two and a half year old grandson loves this toy the best! Of all the presents he got for Christmas, he zeroed in on this one and played with it non-stop. His parents were amazed, saying he NEVER "attaches" to any particular toy like this one. I was proud to have thought of it (obviously, I am the "best" grandmother!). Everything in the box was well-constructed and "worked" perfectly. My little guy even learned how to remove nails with the other side of a hammer. Great product for a future DIY-er!

Two year old grandson loves it. He is enjoying the basics while his skills progress. At this age, toys are soon left behind, so it is nice to find something he can continue to enjoy for a while. He is happy to help with house remodeling, keeping busy while mom & dad do the real work. Very good quality product. I will look to this brand again.
