I bought this sandwich kit about a year ago and it's still going strong! The kit comes with 2 Snack Containers (.5 cup capacity), 1 Side Container (1.2 cup capacity), 1 Sandwich Container (2.6 cup capacity) and 1 blue Ice pack . It's perfect to hold my sandwich (or salad), dressing, and veggies every day and the containers snap easily onto the included blue freeze pack and stay put even if I drop my lunchbox. The colored containers and lids are made of BPA free plastic and are technically dishwasher safe, but I always hand wash them to prolong the life of the containers. The lids snap on easily and have been leak proof thus far, even if I put dressing in one of the smaller containers; when it gets jostled around in the lunchbox, it never spills. For only $8, this kit is a bargain and I'd highly recommend it. Note that it's for flat lunchboxes and that if you have a circular lunchbox, it might not fit since the kit is rectangular.

Best lunchboxes ever! I throw the cold packs in the freezer and they're always frozen by the next morning. I pack my entree, a sliced apple or some other kind of fruit, and a couple kinds of raw nuts for snacks and I'm set for the day. I was worried about the cold packs not sticking properly to the lid, but I sometimes have problems getting them to come off. No problem staying on. I've microwaved them, brought leftover steak and sliced it in the container, dropped them, forgotten them over the weekend (ugh - what a smell) and they always wash up and work perfectly. They're sturdy, convenient and I'm glad I found them. I was looking for a bento box, but these are better.

This is perfect for making lunches. I use it for work and it fits perfectly in my rectangular shaped lunch box. I love that they lock it place, it makes it perfect for things like salad dressing that you dont want tipping over and spilling. I would not say this is leak proof, but I wasnt expecting it to be. Also, the big container has a separator in it, but it doesn't reach up to the lid. So if your putting something like a sandwich in the larger area of it, and something with moisture in it in the smaller part of it, the sandwich will get a little soggy.

I'll update this with a photo as soon as I remember to take one! This is the perfect size, I'm surprised by the negative reviews as I use mine multiple times a week and it's a generous amount of salad and toppings. And by only filling the salad to the point where the top compartment rests, you actually have room to mix in your salad dressing and toppings without bits flying out and onto the table and floor. I actually use the included dressing container for my vitamins every day and store separately in my lunch bag (see below for what I use for dressing), and instead opt to use the top three compartments for grape/cherry tomatoes cut in half (larger compartment), shredded cheese (medium compartment) and Trader Joe's Honey Roasted Sliced Almonds (small compartment). The almonds stay crisp even when I prep my salad the night before and pop in the fridge. I add organic baby greens to the bottom, up to the point where the top compartment rests, and everything fits together beautifully. For dressing I use one of the small containers of this set: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XF2LYNB/ "Rubbermaid LunchBlox Leak-Proof Entree Lunch Container Kit, Large, Blue 2000665". It fits the larger amount of dressing I like and has it's own separate blue ice block to keep it cold. Perhaps you'll like the dressing container that's included if you use less, but if you opt not to note you can use that compartment for an additional topping! I'm eating salad more often with this and I'm pretty pleased with how it functions. Highly recommend.

I use this every single day now! No need for sandwich bags or other workarounds to bring lunch with me to work. I actually think that this is enabling me to eat a healthier and more diverse diet, since I compulsively fill each container with something different! Really awesome product. The plastic and build quality is very good. My only complaint is that the containers don't snap together tightly if you don't use the Blue Ice insert, but they do stay in one place if you don't shake it around.

I have great eating habits at home and even when I go out, but I am REALLY bad about my food intake at work. I either eat way too little because I don't bring a lunch (or scoff at the freezer meal I picked out), or I eat junk food. I bought one of these to help and I plan on buying more. It is the perfect size, and doesn't need to be limited to salads. The top portioned container has plenty of space, and the bottom container is very spacious. I am looking forward to replacing a number of my current plastic storage containers with a few of these!!

Rubbermaid LunchBlox Sandwich Kit. This has changed the way my kids view bringing cold lunch from home. Previously it was hot lunch at school almost all the time. Occasionally I'd send them to school with a "brown bag" with ziploc bags of sandwich and snacks and an icepack. But they really love their lunch in LunchBlox. They think it's cute how it all snaps together and items are mushed. My picky 8 year old even likes bringing her lunch now although it's still a limited selection she'll eat. My 11 year old was complaining school lunches weren't filling enough so this was perfect to bring a ham and cheese sandwich and grapes and chips. He doesn't complain about not enough food anymore. One thing to watch out for, make sure your luncheon meat is dry - I have to blot this "natural style ham" before putting it in the sandwich. Also due to condensation or something the bread can get soggy so I put a paper towel around the sandwich to help absorb some of that. I'm telling you, I have a picky kid. But she likes the lunchblox enough that she has the patience to help me debug this problem. Next up, a thermos to bring hot food from home for variety!

I really like this for a lunch salad. I have seen some reviews saying that this is small for a salad. I like that the box is compact but in my opinion it holds a lot (And I am not a small eater). I think how much the bottom holds would depend on if you used more lofty greens, like Romaine. That said, I put the dressing on the side and fill all of the top containers with toppings of the day, like grilled chicken, nuts, fruit, dried fruit, veggies, cheese, etc. I fill the bottom with spinach or field greens usually with some shredded carrots and broccoli shreds, and I usually push them down a slight bit. At lunch time I dump in the top contents, add some dressing, replace the lid and do a quick shake to toss it all together. Most important, and part of why I like this so much, is that the ice block can fit on the top, near the toppings. That keeps your toppings nice and cool but also keeps it from sliding down and frost biting your greens.

We have been using this product for almost 2 years, we’re only on our second set. The first set held up from daily use and washing from preschool, summer camp, and half of kindergarten before anything cracked. The sandwich lid finally did crack a little, but we definitely got our money’s worth so we bought the same set again. Last year we configured it stacked as pictured in a deep lunch box. This year she has the flat PBK Mackenzie lunch box, and we had to turn one snack compartment on its side, but all 4 pieces DO fit, with room for a yogurt tube! This set has more than paid for itself with not buying sandwich baggies and ethically it feels good to not produce all that garbage from baggies too. Washes super easily, the ice pack stays cold all day after freezing all night. I’ll keep buying this set forever.

These are great!! I bought an insulated picnic basket, and these fit perfectly inside. I am able to bring an assortment of food items and condiments to make my lunches terrific. For instance, I brought turkey, lettuce, mayo, and olives in these containers. I bought a separate holder for bread. I made several FRESH sandwiches for my family when we took a break at the zoo and everything was chilled and safe to eat. It was tasty, too!! I love these containers. Don't let the size fool you. Even though they are small, they hold quite a bit. I put olives and pepperocinis in the smallest containers and still had leftovers! My portion size plan was for two, but I have made it work for six with the use of additional storage. But, it had to fit in my picnic basket designed for two...and it worked!!
