Perfect replacement.
2000 miles and no leaks. I replaced my axles because the rear axle seals on my 2001 Ford Lightning wasn't playing well with the axles and leaking fluid throughout. I replaced the factory axles with these upgraded axles and no more leaks! They seem to be holding up great too, even after a few burnouts haha!

Yukon Gear & Axle (YCJL) Long Axle Kit for CJ7/CJ8 AMC Model 20 Differential
When my Jeep decided it didn't want to pull anymore, I knew it was time to upgrade to a one piece axle. Having never messed with axles before, I was a little leery of doing this work myself, but what can I say? I'm cheap, but have a great set of tools and have always been pretty handy. You Tube is a great source of information, so my son and I started watching all the videos that we could find while we waited for these to arrive. When the morning came to install these... we torn into that Jeep feeling more confident that we ever imagined. Long story short... we installed these, as well as replacing the rear brakes and wheel cylinders, in about three hours taking our time. You'll need access to a bearing press to install the bearings, and Harbor Freight has one for less than $200 that's perfect for this. Otherwise, we were quoted about $75 per axle to have a shop press them in. I feel better about these one-piece axles over the two-piece ones. You can see the photo above what the stripped two-piece looked like. Not pretty. I rated these 5 stars for both the quality I feel these axles to be, and the price I paid. (Included all the bearings and seals!). Amazon is excellent as well (Prime member), and the shipping time is awesome. How do they do it?

Great quality for price
Perfect replacement on my 2006 rubicon. Seems like great quality and included a timken bearing and seal, along with 2 separate retainer plates...which in my case neither were right. But I'm assuming this is sold more as a general dana 44 jeep axle and not specifically a rubicon with disc brakes. No big deal, used my old retainer plate with the install and everything fit like a dream, and no more leak from a seal groove cut in the old factory axle. Not a big fan of the dual bolt patterns, but the price was right so I'll get past that minor annoyance. Also, mine did NOT come assembled. The bearing and seal were just sitting in the box. I do own a shop press so it was no big deal, but it may be of some concern to someone who has to take it somewhere to be pressed together.

Great price on Amazon
All I really needed was new seals to stop the differential fluid leaking. But by the time I bought the parts and had them pressed on the old axles, I would have spent nearly as much as buying these. They fit fine.. Make sure you order the correct wheel studs for your Jeep. Very happy with the result. Hope they don’t leak!

Perfect Fit!
Perfect fit for my 08 JKU. I'm not a professional mechanic by any stretch of the imagination but love off-roading. Had the old shaft out and the new one in in under an hour. The only thing I wasn't expecting was reusing by lug bolts. I had to remove my old ones and insert them into the new axle. Also, I wasn't clear on whether I needed to grease the bearing before installation or not. No instructions for it.

2002 Tahoe
Fits my 2002 Tahoe fine. Replacing factory axle at 193K that had pitting and was worn where it rides the bearing. Other side looked brand new, so maybe there was a slow differential leak in the past. Diff had fluid, though. Anyway, annoying job having to open the diff cover but easy enough. Reused these stock lugs.

Fast, Courteous, and helpful service, great shafts.
Fast courteous service, fast shipping, as described, Super deal, Thanks very much. Remember, these are cut to length shafts. A hacksaw blade won't even scratch these shafts. Used a lathe and a angle grinder with a sixteenth inch thick cut off wheel. Took an hour for each shaft but was polished and fit perfectly when done. These are reduced diameter 12 inches out from the flange which really really helps when you are converting a 30 spline D60 to accept the 35 spline shafts.

Good product
Had to use my abrasive chop saw to cut the axle to the right length. My band saw wouldn’t touch it. So far so good got about half a dozen wheeling trips on it. Running 44” boggers and a big block.

Worth it....
Great product and install is straight forward with some mechanical know how. The only negative is if you need a bearing and a press retainer replacement they are almost $100 so 2 them would be about the same price as the whole kit.

'90 c1500 axles
My c1500 gmc, '90, has two length posibilities. Wasn't sure which to get until I noticed the last 4 of the part # cast on the original oem inner hub shoulder face between the lugs. Wire brushed rust to make it barely visible. Mine is 0417. Used number to match the last four of this axle part #. Perfect, I ordered two for both sides. Nice axles, straight, nice splines, smooth seal and bearing surfaces, and packaged very well. Hope this helps.
