I had worn out the 12x12 mat that came with my Cameo, and I decided to try the 12x24. I am mostly cutting letter-sized cardstock, and this mat works great; I can generally put either 2 or 3 sheets of cardstock on it (depending on the pattern I'm cutting) and it will cut multiple sheets before I have to change them, which is a huge time saver. The only slight downside is that the mat is extremely sticky when new: when pulling the 110-lb cardstock off, the stickiness is strong enough to curl the paper pretty significantly. Not a problem for my purposes, but might be a bigger issue if someone was using lighter or more delicate materials.

I LOVE THIS MAT!!! I held off on buying a new cutting mat for a while because even though my old one was completely worn out and had NO stick left, I felt guilty spending more money on Silhouette supplies, so I held off. Eventually I misplaced my mat and was forced to order a new one. I chose this one because occasionally I have wished to be able to run a 2ft roll of vinyl into my machine. I was afraid that a new mat would be TOO sticky, but I was wrong. This mat has just the right amount of stick. I also like that it has a hole in the top so that I can easily hang it. Treat yourself to a fresh mat today, you'll be glad you did!!

Can't beat a larger mat! The packaging for this is always a surprise. Sometimes it comes in the biggest box ever which makes my husband wonder what in the world I've ordered now. And sometimes it comes in box folded over, which is disappointing because it gets a crease. You just never know what you will get when it arrives.

A game changer! I can cut so much more at once! It’s amazing! The only challenge I do have is finding paper this large. So far I just put two 12by12, but otherwise I had to order on amazon and it was expensive. For vinyl it’s not an issue finding the 24 inch length. Get it for simple projects! I am a teacher and I got so much letters finished and fast!

Do you have a Silhouette Cameo? This is something that you going to buy very often. When the 12x12 is not enought (straigt out of the box) At first the mat is super sticky, but with the use the mat becomes less, and less sticky. This is caused by small debris, dust and paper scraps. What i doo to keep my mat clean is take a piece of adhesive vinyl and use it to remove most of the dirt. I got 4 of the. so i just let them cut while removing previous cutted mat. I dont use adhesive spray and nothing just my always friend vinyl.

This worked perfectly for my needs. I have only used it a couple times and I don’t see needing it a lot so I’m not worried at all about adhesion. The only thing that concerns me is getting the protective covering back on each time. For this use I didn’t need to take it off all the way so I was able to flip it back up easily. Not so sure I could get it on well if I had to take it off more or all the way. It would be great if it was attached at the bottom or a little sturdier to all re-placement in the correct position each time. Can’t really comment on durability yet, but it seems to be of good quality.

I love how big that this guy may is.. I can do several more things that I couldn't do before with the 12" cut mat.. that is when my cameo will work and actuality cut .... I bought a cameo 2 about 4 months ago now and i have had nothing but problems out of it and i have contacted the company many times trying to get them to replace the unit and they just keep giving me the 'run around' about what could be the problem and i have tried everything that they suggested to fix the issue, and i bought 4 new blades thinking that maybe that was the issue... but nothing helped..

Thanks to the length of this mat I'm able to cut ALOT at once and not have to stop and remove a sheet and add another before I continue. The adhesive is strong so my projects don't slide around.

Works as described. It's a long mat for the Cameo. Makes it much easier to cut large products without having to break them down.

This cutting mat had strong adhesive, but was still easy to release my yardstick paper. It might not be good for delicate papers because it seemed really strong. Unfortunately, it was shipped in a roll and the edges were dinged up on one side. This means I can only use one side as the starting edge.
