This Was the Tool I Was Missing!

I really like this smoother. It feels very durable and rugged. The metal edge just seems to work better than plastic for me. I kind of wish that one of the corners had a right angle instead of a curve, but I'm sure Wilton just wanted to avoid sharp edges. It hasn't stopped me from getting really smooth cakes. I have also used it to cut fondant because of it's nice straight edge. All and all, I expect to use this smoother for a very long time. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

A well designed multi-tasker

Smooths icing very well and is a good size. Also makes an excellent bench scraper for cleaning up your counter tops after the cake is done.

My favorite icing smoother

This is my favorite icing smoother! It is long enough that I can perfectly smooth my tall three layer cakes. The grip makes it comfortable to use and you never have to look at which way it is facing because both edges are the same. Then if I want a design in the surface I can use a different comb.
