He's such a funny, cool

These have been a monthly subscribe and save order for as long as I can remember. My Aussie loves them! He gets 3 Grass Saver tablets, 2 Grass Saver Biscuits, and one of these Pedigree Dentastix every evening at 9:30. Just mention "Thirties" at our house and he'll get all excited. When it's time for Thirties, he runs laps in our circular floorplan in anticipation. First, it's the tablets. Gulp, gulp, gulp, lap. Then his biscuits. Chomp, chomp. chomp, chew, chew, chew, gulp, repeat, lap, lap. Finally it's time for his Dentastix. Take, lap, go to his chompy spot in the living room to eat it. He's such a funny, cool, loved and spoiled dog. I might love him more than he loves his chompies, but some days, I think it's a toss up. LOL

However, even working dogs need playtime, and they need ways to enjoy themselves and vent frustration. These are a great way to prevent your dog from getting into trouble when bored. The photo is of him chewing on one of these while at work. No one likes a bored dog. A bored dog often will often act out, choosing an activity of their own devising. Such activities, for some, can be very destructive. I've found it important to keep things around that Galen can do quietly if bored. Since we work in a school, that means no squeaky toys, no balls... none of the normal toys a dog might have out in the yard. Best Bully Sticks are a healthy way in which he can address any boredom issues or frustration at times when he must otherwise be quiet. It also addresses the natural chewing tendencies a young dog like him has, and helps clean his teeth and maintain proper dental health. There are no toxic additives to these, and unlike Rawhide, which can be very dangerous to dogs, these are very digestible. he will go through a full bully in a day sometimes, depending on how his day goes. He has never been in trouble at work, even as a small puppy. Part of that is because he has things like bully sticks to occupy him during the day! His health is excellent, he's happy, and his training is progressing amazingly. With all he does, and all he's learned, he deserves nothing but the best, and I have bot been disappointed by these!

Nightly treat for our dogs. They don't care about the claims of dental hygiene, and I can't really vouch for the cleaning claims. The dogs don't seem to accumulate tartar on their teeth since we have been using, so maybe that's proof enough. But a couple of stains that were there already are still present. The dogs simply love the taste and follow any command when they see us reach for the bag. At best, we may be helping avoid further buildup. At worse, we have a treat they look forward to and consistently enjoy. Either way its enough to make us keep buying. The work great broken in half to insert into the Kong dog bone shaped toy for extended chewing.

Works well - even for a pittie!

I have two large dogs, one of which is a pitbull with severe allergies. I was a little skeptical because this doesn't fall into her "limited ingredient" lifestyle but her breathe is HORRIBLE. I really don't feed her any food or treats that aren't LID products but I needed something that worked to help her stinky-ness. I read all of the good reviews and I decided to buy it for them and monitor my pittie to make sure she didn't have any adverse reactions to the ingredients. I purchased this product last week and I have given each dog 1 treat per day. So far, all is well! I use this product in combination with a liquid water additive and the combination is working better than expected!!! They absolutely love these treats - they look forward to getting one each night. I can't tell if it's the treats, the additive, or both but their stinky breath is almost completely gone!! I'm so happy!! I will absolutely continue using this product so long as my pitbull approves :)

Fantastic product & reasonably priced via Amazon

My dog LOVES these dental sticks, I swear its her favorite part of every morning. She can't even finish her breakfast in anticipation of eating her delicious dentastix. Thank goodness Pedigree, through Amazon, is still offering affordable dental hygiene for our loved fur babies! I watched as this product doubled in price over a few months at the grocery store and Petco. Before I realized Dentastix was sold through Amazon, I went about a month without giving my dog any dental care besides nightly toothbrushing. However, her breath still became stinky within a week of running out of this product. When I ordered this through Amazon, it was supposed to come in the typical 5-7 business days, but it ended up arriving in two days with an AmazonPrime purchase I made the same day. Thank you Amazon and Pedigree! My dog and I both love and highly recommend this product :).

Clean teeth and better breath!

We have two dogs, a husky and a frenchie, they both have the absolute worst breath so I am so thankful that I purchased these. They have definitely helped. Both of my dogs love to eat them which is a huge plus because I've tried other kinds that they wouldn't even touch. There teeth in general look so much better and their breath is much better. Obviously it doesn't make it smell great, but its a huge difference from what it did smell like so I'm not complaining one bit! This is worth a try if you have a dog with bad breath or need a little help cleaning there teeth. It has definitely worked for our two fur babies

My dog's go-to toothbrush

My dog is three now, and he has gotten one of these EVERY night for the last three years. This is how he brushes his teeth before he goes to bed in his kennel. He gets excited and jumps around and heads straight to his kennel to await his "toothbrush." Unfortunately he has become somewhat "addicted" to minty-flavored products. This dog never gets in trouble, never chews on furniture, never chews up a cat toy, never steals food... but DO NOT leave anything with a mint-flavor out. Several capsules of chapstick have fallen victim to his unfortunate addiction, but thankfully that is where it has ended. Oh yeah, we tried the chicken flavored ones before and I swore he was about to bite me for trying to give it to him. He just sat in his kennel at bedtime and stared at me forlornly from between the bars and would not touch the "icky-brown-poo" stick.

These are a hit!

Our pup started getting smelly breath and I wanted something that would help with that. She chews on nylon bones and pork skin chews but I wanted to make sure she wasn’t getting build up on her teeth. I went with the “fresh” flavor of these, a little bit hesitant on how a minty flavor would go with my dog. It was a hit! She can’t wait to get her chew after dinner every day. She eats it super fast - within two minutes - but I can see that it takes her significant effort to chew it so it’s doing its job. I definitely notice a difference in her breath on the days she gets them and the days she doesn’t. We will continue to get these for her!

Dentastix has proven itself with our Smiling Sammy

We have an 11 year old Samoyed that we've had since 3 months old. At a little less than one year old, I started giving her one large Dentastix every night, virtually her entire life before bed. We also give her one bully stick or bone type treat to also help clean up the teeth. We only brush her teeth once every few weeks, if that. She has never been in for any dental work or teeth cleaning. Never lost a tooth. Only recently, at age 11 years, she fractured a rear molar on what we believe was biting down too aggressively on a bully stick and she will have to have it removed. Based on our Sammy's history, I'd say she had a VERY good run with her teeth and our Vet checks her teeth regularly and comments her teeth are otherwise in beautiful shape. Crystal loves these to death and they have served her well. Mint will freshen the breath nicely but if your dog has bad breath you have to take additional steps to clean the mouth and keep it clean.
