Love the knife
This knife has good balance, a nice edge and appears to be made of good materials. It is easy to release and park the blade as well. I have a larger S&W blade I keep in each vehicle for emergencies, but his one is sized right for a daily pocket carry. I couldn't be more pleased

Well built, quick and easy release.
Smaller than I expected but still very good for my purposes. It opens very easily without feeling like it's going to accidentally open.

Solid knife!
One of the best knives I've bought. Rugged and solid construction. Normally I kill a knife in under a year but this one is going strong. Although I've snapped the tip (my stupid error) the clip and mechanism still work the same since day one. The blade also held sharp for over a month with solid work!

Great EDC just a few tips...
You cannot go wrong with this knife, it is a solid build from a great company. When you first get it locking it might seem like a little work, as in having to use both hands. First drop a bit of oil or (yes despite what some might say a drop of WD40) on the pivot and then open and close it to the lock position a dozen or so times and it will lock easily after on the thumb flip. This is an amazing buy and now my EDC. Just remember a drop of oil on the pivot and opening/closing multiple times makes this flawless.

Durable
Love it, it's sharp, but I like it razor sharp so I put it through my knife sharpener and now this thing is my new favorite knife. I love it because it is light. My other knife was really heavy and didn't like the feeling in my pocket. This is light and well built and you can tell it is durable. Stays closed despite what other people may say. I mean it doesn't click or anything so you know it is all the way in, just kinda hangs there when you close it, but there's no way it's going to open up in your pocket. You actually have to pull the knife out of the holder to get it out. So there is no safety issue. Well worth the money for me.

Does its job, does it well.
This knife is pretty spectacular for the price. Some people complain about the spring assist, but this knife has no spring assist. You can still open the blade one-handed though, and I have had spring assists fail quite a few times. Bottom line, if you want a quality and sturdy blade as an EDC but don't want to spend hundreds on a "name", this knife is for you.

Solid reliable EDC knife.
First off anybody saying this knife is dangerous to use needs to reevaluate their hand eye coordination. I've had this knife for aabout a year now with daily use and haven't cut myself once, nothing has malfunctioned, no loosening of screws. Anyways on to the knife. It came hair shaving sharp right out of the package. Feels pretty good in the hand. Sharpness has barely deteriorated at all. As for a survival knife it could serve as this purpose on a limited scale, although I don't think your going to be cutting down large branches or shaving bark with it. It will do well for cleaning small game, cutting cord to build a shelter, widdling down sticks to set up stakes. Overall a good knife at an affordable price. I have had benchmades, gerbers, spider Co knives. This knife is a solid EDC if your not looking to spend hella cash and want reliability.

Strongly recommend!
I just have to say, for $12 you cannot go wrong with this knife. Its simple, and efficient. Extremely sharp, as well as having a partially serrated blade. After reading a lot of the reviews I was a little worried because people were saying that this knife didn't completely lock all the way which obviously poses a major safety issue. But after purchasing it I can tell that these people have a very tenuous grasp on lock blades or knives in general... or perhaps they got a defected blade. But I doubt that because S&W knows their way around a blade/gun. My knife locks just fine and I couldn't be happier for the quality and price of this wonderful knife (:

Quality for the price!
The product is very nice. It is high quality. The weight of it is pretty light no issues using it. The blade only opens half way when you use the assistance method this does not bother me, but for some people it is an issue. Also the total length is about a dollar bill plus a nickel.
