Best non-bathtub bathtub ever!

I am renting a wonderful house that has a huge master bathroom shower but no bathtub. And I love taking baths! Because we are renting, renovating the bathroom to install a bathtub is not an option. After doing a lot of research about inexpensive bath tub options, I purchased this stock tank from amazon to use as a bath tub. I measured and it fits perfectly in my shower and the drain plug even drains exactly over my shower drain. It is light enough for me to turn on its side to dry after I use it so I don't have to worry about mold growing on the bottom. The tank was delivered quickly and I received a call to arrange the delivery because it's an oversize item. Since I've received it I've taken a bath almost every night. After 4 years of only showers I am REALLY happy to finally have a bath tub again, even if it's really a stock tank.

Versatile Tub!

I bought this for bathing my dogs. I had a hole drilled in the bottom with a plug installed and I also had a stand built so I could wash them without bending over. Amazon sells a heating wand for horse troughs and a hand held sprayer for camping showers. With those additions I am able to scrub up my pooches outside using the garden hose as a water source. The tub is deep enough to be able to dip them for flea treatments and also holds plenty of volume for good rinsing. The tub surface is sort of textured, too, so they're not inclined to slip and fall. This has turned out to be a highly useful yet inexpensive solution to keeping my dogs clean between groomings. I've also used this for potting plants. A very good investment!

Made a perfect duck pond

Very happy with this small stock tank. I wasn't sure if it was going to be big enough for a duck pond but it works perfect for my four ducks. There is not a drain in this tank but very easy to add one. We bought the drain with the tank, drilled a hole to attach drain, and ran a ball valve off the back of it. We attached a hose to valve for easy mess free draining. Used rocks and pavers for a ramp. The ducks waited very impatiently and loudly(!) while we set it up for them. This setup is more eye pleasing than their old blue kiddie pool. This review is 5 star rated by my four quackers!

It's MY pool !

Why pay 300 dollars for a splash around pool for your dog? This "tub" is perfect for my German Shepherd Dog (see photo). as soon as he saw it come in the house, he knew it was his, and as soon as there was water in it he flopped down in it pleased as punch. This pool, tub, whatever it is called, is very sturdy, much sturdier than the other ones I have seen advertised as pools for dogs. He is not going to swim in it. He is going to keep his balls in it and splash around like a little kid in the bathtub. We are very pleased with this, and as you can see, so is he.

Perfect for what I needed. A new home for my box turtle!

Bought for giant breed dogs

I bought this for my Great Pyrenees and Newfoundland mix to use as a pool to cool off in. It was not as large as I had expected but perhaps that's just a misjudgment on my end. It is very sturdy and too heavy for my dogs to drag around the yard- thank goodness. They have been able to leave marks on it but that is purely cosmetic damage. I would certainly recommend this product for those looking for a dog pool- but if you have a giant breed you may want to size up a bit.

Great for my goldfishies!

In November, I rescued my neighbor's comets that he had in a small ornamental water feature and was abandoning to freeze overwinter . I have it set up an aquaponic system with 2 large hikari sponge filters (which I previosly nitrate cycled in a bucket) and a flood and drain grow bed above. This tank is perfect!

deep and durable dog pool!

I love this thing and I'm in for another one. I bought this so my dogs can stay cool at will. I needed something that could endure the abuse that dogs can provide. I have huskies and these in particular love to chew on anything. So far they have managed to make a couple of small holes in it ,but not in a place that affects its ability to hold water. I'm super happy with its durability and depth. P.s. My dogs range from 75lb to 45lb. They have no problem fitting into this and using it as a tub.
