Awesome except color is totally different.

This item is great and is exactly as I expected it except for one thing: We ordered the green and black one but the green is much different than the picture. Instead of the green being a dark olive/forest/hunter green, it is more of a bright lime green. I like the lighter color that was delivered better anyway, but I felt it was worth noting that the green is nothing like what is pictured.

Fantastic!

This is fantastic. We've managed to squeeze larger sizes of dog food bags into this and close it up just fine (maybe not airtight, but it serves its purpose). keeps the dogs from getting into it and stealing food. And now our new kitty who we adopted a few months ago, who seems to have a taste for the dog food we get. We also keep the cat food in the smaller container and store it in our hallway next to his feeding area. This is a great set. We use the scoop to measure their food out, and I've been quite happy with how well this works for what we need. Just as a friendly tip - don't drop food directly into these or any plastic container. Plastic is porous and if not properly cleaned (bleach water soak and scrub, don't use soap as it leaves a residue which can upset tummies) it can cause the animal to become sick because of the bacteria buildup. Consider how gross it'd be to eat food off a plate that has residue from food you ate a year ago. So if you DO pour it directly in, make sure you give it a good bleach cleaning before putting the new bag of food in.

Great sturdy storage container on wheels

Absolutely the best purchase for storing dog food! I dumped the entire 25 lb puppy food bag in and had tons of room left. I thought it would be smaller so that was a nice surprise. I love that there's two separate containers. I don't have to expose the entire lot of food to air each time I open it. Second smaller container sits snug on top in grooves. Never slides off. Coming on caster wheels is definitely a selling feature for me. Very sturdy, not wobbly. Moving it around is a breeze and you don't have to handle it gingerly. I ordered the set with the scoop. Scoop is huge with measuring lines inside. Excellent. Latches snap closed tightly on the containers with a good seal inside. No way any mice or bugs are getting in there. I'll be getting a second one so I have one for puppy and another for adult food. Great colors. First one was ordered in pink. Cute!

Perfect for 15lb food bag and treat in the top container!

This container is great! The bigger container is perfect size. We bought a 15lb bag of dog food and it fits perfectly. I would not recommend buying a bag that is more than 15lbs. There is a little room Left at the top but I do not believe it is enough for the an extra 5 lbs or more. The smaller container fits perfectly on top of the bigger one. With a little cut out to secure the top to the bottom makes it easy to move around. The smaller container is perfect for bags of treat, toys, scoops etc. These containers worked out pefectly for us and we will probably buy another one or bigger one, if they have one, when we get another dog. I definitely recommend keeping the pet food, whatever size you get, in the bag while in the container because it makes it easy for clean up and ensuring that all the dog food is used.

Perfect container combination, airtight,fresh food. Highly recommended

This is a perfect container for cat food,dog food. I use the smaller one for my cats hard food,and the bigger one for the dog food. The smaller one holds 8lbs, the bigger 25lbs. I own 3 dogs, 3 cats. And this is perfect for what we need. If you have limited space where you live then this is still a perfect buy. I have mine placed next to my refrigerator. The canister wheels are great for you to move with ease, they also have a snap tight lid with seals to keeps food fresh. I enjoy the clearness of the containers so I know how low their food is getting. I really like the scoop, I use this for the dog food,have a cup for the cat's food. It does come in a variety of colors, but I prefer the blue. Although the price may be different depending on the color you choose. You can stack them,but please note that they do not stick together to stack. The smaller one will sit on top oof the large on but their are not grooves to hold them together to keep from sliding off. So if you have small one's in the house that get a little carried away. Set the smaller container down on floor. Otherwise you might have a mess. All in all I have been enjoying this purchase and would definitely recommend this to you. Their are way more pros than cons. And if you don't want the wheels on the large container you do not have to place them. Highly Recommended!

I love these! I have four in different colors and will be buying more as I need them for however many dogs, cats, etc. I have. The big container holds about 25# of dry food and I use the top container to hold any excess from my larger bags, treats, supplements, grooming tools, etc. The scoops are heavy duty and have markings for up to 2 cups in I believe 1/2 cup increments. The colors are vibrant and are long lasting, even after washing (I wash mine with dish soap about every 3 months). They are high quality, heavy duty containers. Occasionally the lids come off when opening but they are easy to reattach. They are not quite as airtight as, say, the Vittles Vault but for how quickly I go through the food (and the much lower price point of these) I don't need anything more airtight. I do keep them in my pantry which probably helps keep them fresher since they are out of direct sunlight and heat. I print out labels with all of my animal's names and feeding instructions and tape them to each container so anyone who may be taking care of them while I am away knows exactly whose container is whose and how much food they get. It is easy to color coordinate everything as well which adds an extra level of "food security", especially if you have a bunch of animals with food sensitivities.

Great Containers For The Price!

This was a great deal at $22 for the set (one 25lb container on wheels, and one 10lb container that cat sit on top). You can even leave the wheels off of the larger container if you'd rather have it stationary instead of rolling (they come in a separate baggie, all you do is slide them into the holes in the bottom of the big container). I use the larger container to store my ferret's pine pellet litter, and the smaller one for various supplies (litter scooper, bags, etc.) These containers are basically what you'd expect; they get the job done. And the variety of colors to choose from are nice. :) Would definitely recommend!

Perfect!

A little bummed that I waited until after I bought this to dig into the reviews, since I learned that the container does not provide an airtight seal. We have a Great Dane and his food comes in minimum 15lb bags and aren't cheap so I'm not about to dump it in for it to dry out. Sadly, it's not big enough to put the bag with food in it either. Beyond that, it seems to be built well and looks pretty nice. We'll find a use for it, but for now it's just what we set the bag of food on top of. Update 1/1/19: Being that I'm a first time Dane owner, I didn't realize just how quickly his food would disappear. At just shy of 16 weeks, he's already eating 6 cups/day. Having said this, the freshness isn't really an issue since a 33lb bag only lasts about a month and will only disappear faster as he grows. I have no complaints about this product and we're very pleased with it!

Great pet food storage bin set and priced right.

I bought this to store my birdseed and it works perfectly. I use the larger bottom bin to store the bulk of my seed mix which I buy in 15 pound bags. The larger bin holds the seed with room to spare. I could probably fit two bags of seed in it. The smaller bin I use exclusively for black oil sunflower seeds in roughly 5 pound bags. The small bin holds those perfectly. The included 2 cup measuring scoop is handy and an added plus. I like the fact that the bins stack pretty decently. They seem solidly constructed. The pop-in wheels are hard plastic and roll OK on concrete. They are not really heavy duty but for casual use they are probably fine. The lids are hinged and do not come fully off the bins. Some may not like that and only time will tell if the lid hinges hold up. There is a tab on the front that releases the lid so it can open. The first few times using these bins I found myself trying to use those as handles to roll the bin towards me. Don't do that, the tabs will just flip up like they do if you're opening the lids. These bins are a good deal. My local big box pet store wanted more money for their storage options and I didn't like theirs as much as this set. Dog Proof Too!

Not only are these containers airtight,they are also dog proof! I left my 3 boxers inside the house with 2 sets of these contaners and came home to find them in various places in the house, with numerous scratches and bite marks, but still closed and the contents safe! Attempts at self-feeding were foiled! Great product!
