Great for safely storing things in
Recently bought a smaller size of this container on wheels at a local Aldi. After putting cat food inside of it, we realized that we NEEDED another one as our other cat cannot eat food with grain in it. This is one nice container to store things in. It has wheels that make it so nice and easy to move around. It stores so much inside that we can fit one and a half bags of cat food within it. There is a seal on the rim so that it seals whatever you have stored inside from any moisture or fumes. As it is plastic, I was interested to see how well the plastic was made and if it seemed like it would split or start to falter after a short time. We are delighted to say that it is very well made and appears that it will hold up against the test of time very well!

great seal, love the handles below the trim to ...
Container does the job, great seal, love the handles below the trim to pick up easily when full. The container says 25 lbs, but I added a 30 lbs of Blue Buffalo puppy food, and it went 1" below the brim. šš»

Great airtight container!
This is such a great help for pet food! I don't have to worry about my cat getting into his food bag anymore. Plus, it keeps the food airtight to help keep it fresh. The container is the perfect size for a large bag of cat food. I can easily roll the food out when needed and roll it back to it's place. Great product, now I just need to get a larger one for the dog food š

Perfect for large sugar and flour sacks
I looked high and low for something to empty my big sacks of flour and sugar in. I bake a lot and refuse to use the small containers. These fit the bill. I didnāt think I needed rollers, but I find itās even better with the rollers to transport out of my pantry to my mixer. These stay shut and glide well. My only complaint is that they labeled them āpetā food container. This is a necessity for the baker.

Exactly what I was looking for.
Holds 50lbs of dry dog food and a scooper and a couple of small bowls. Arrived right on time in perfect condition. Wheels were packed inside and attach easy. Looks like it should keep the dog food fresh. It has an inner seal around the lid and a the latch will keep it closed.

Used it for flour and rice.
Love that it has wheels. I use it to store wheat flour, and rice. (Pakistani/Indian people would understand.) Works perfectly for my space as well.

Decent seal, will not hold over the rated amount of food
This one has a better seal than another Iris model I own (Blue lid, 35lb version). Though I haven't had any pest problems with either model, I don't have a pest problem in the whole house. I kind of doubt either would keep very small pests out. Just FYI, if it says 25lbs, it will not hold over 25lbs of food. I have small/medium-sized kibble and it will not fit the 27lb bags that I buy. Kinda bummed, but I took the risk and it's not worth mailing this back/buying a more expensive one/waiting for it to arrive. But in terms of weight, it'll hold much more than 25lbs even on the wheels. Reasonably well built. I guess a note for improvement might be to include wheels with locks? Even just two.

War. War never changes.
In the great war between man vs. cat, there is and almost always must be an escalation of arms. The cats, our clever foes, consistently think of new ways to utilize their fantastic natural endowments to irritate humanity to ever-reaching heights. Man must strike back. We lack the stealth, patience, razor sharp claws, night vision and supreme agility to overcome the cats in a standoff of direct physical confrontation... but unbeknownst to the cats, we DO outwit them in our cunning. By extracting the compressed, liquefied remains of our ancestors and refining them, we produce a cheap-yet-durable material that we have dubbed "plastic." It can be made both rigid and soft, and it's appearance and form are eminently and easily configurable. It is also impenetrable by domestic cat claws. Little is more infuriating than returning home from work and finding a gruesome scene - crumbs and kibble strewn about the kitchen, gushing from a certainly-doomed cat food bag whimpering in the corner. Now you'll have to get a broom, sweep it all up, put it in the trash bag, and depending on what floor and how much cat food was lost, maybe even spring for some more cat food. Those jerks! Someone had a dream, though. They said, "Thatās right, you know why, because we donāt have time for a city hall debate. I donāt want to hear the āman was not meant to meddleā medley. I see a suit of armor around the cat food." They got their top men on it, and before too long their work was complete. Escalation. A glimmer of hope in the unending war. A stop to the cat-food-shed of hundreds of thousands of cat food bags. Their grand design? The 10-pound IRIS Airtight Pet Food container. Easy to open, easy to close, with a nice little foam seal around the edge. Best of all? Transparent. It TAUNTS your cats to fruitlessly attack it's three millimeter thick armor. Their claws are useless against it. TERRITORIES ARE HELD, and cat food (and money) is saved making YOUR LIFE BETTER. So buy this. It's boxy, too, which looks nice.

I love these
I love these. I have 3 cats. I have 2 of these containers (both 25 lbs) and I use one for my dry food and one for litter. It allows me to buy my kitties their dry food and litter in bulk and keep it fresh. The wheels are great too and they push around on my carpet easily.

and after evaluating the dimensions for the space I had available I was beyond pleased with what arrived
As the owner of two large (and quite hungry!) dogs, I often find it a necessity to keep buying large bags of name brand food and lugging it back and forth at mealtimes. Which can get inconvenient in a hurry, especially with flimsy cardboard seals, bags that don't hold up well over time, and hungry snouts eager to reach in and snag more bites while my back is turned! Thankfully the IRIS Airtight Pet Food Container was one of the first options that came up on Amazon as an answer to my problem, and after evaluating the dimensions for the space I had available I was beyond pleased with what arrived! First of all, the lid is airtight as promised with a locking clasp to keep everything freshly sealed, and the wheels are decent castors that already come attached and don't ever really seem too burdened by the weight of the amount of food that's inside. Of course you can buy a bigger container if you need it (or without wheels if you don't really need them), but I highly recommend the wheels. Our two dogs are fed across the room from each other as one has some possessive food issues, so having the wheels makes it a breeze to bring it back and forth with as much food as is needed. And regarding the food, I came away quite impressed with the fact that one of these containers can put away a pretty substantial 15 pound bag of food with plenty of room to spare. If I didn't already know better I'd swear it could do another 15 pound bag pretty easily (or just could be topped off with another slightly smaller bag to really spare buying for a while). Overall, the IRIS Airtight Pet Food Container 25-pound version is a great buy. Simple setup, nothing at all to put together, and makes not only storing your pet's food so much less of a hassle but also makes it much easier to use when it comes time to feed them! 10/10, definitely recommend it!
