I've used more expensive and bigger aerator, but this one works just as good with a much better price. Unlike the bigger ones that tend to glug, this one pours way smoother while still noticeably aerating. Tested with a group of friends with an aerated versus a non-aerated, and we all could tell the difference. After a few more glasses though, everything tasted the same.

This wine aerator works really well. It is also slim enough to be able to fit in any of several wine bottles I have tried, something that was not the case with another one I had. It presses in securely and pours plenty fast. The fact that it can be taken apart for cleaning is really nice and it cleans up well in our dish washer.

I cannot believe I've been struggling to pour wine in one hand while holding my expensive Vinturi aerator in the other for three years (and drinking un-aerated red wine for years before that) when literally all I had to do was pop this baby on and get ready to roll. I got the two pack and gave one as a gift. This thing is also super small so if I want to pack it for a trip, it slips into the secret pocket in my purse. This thing is so small and inexpensive and yet life changing for an avid wine drinker like me. I'm a bottom shelter and wine sale girl so this makes many cheaper wines taste way better (to an extent. After a point, a bad wine is a bad wine- like Taylor swift said, band aids dont fix bullet holes.) But an $8 to $12 range is perfect with this little thing. It's just so convenient!

We bought these during the Christmas season as we like to aerate the wine instead of letting it breathe and aerate on it own sweet time. This gadget just fits down in to the neck of the bottle and you just pour the wine into the glass. You can hear the aeration happening as you pour. They are very easy to clean just by running them under warm water and setting them to dry. They don't have to be taken apart and reassembled to clean. Super convenient. We have not experienced any leaks or when using these. They seal very securely in all the wines bottles we have used them in. They work very well and are highly recommended.

I bought it for the many positive reviews. But even at that, I am REALLY happy with it. The quality is fine. It's very compact and slim. But primarily, it's the functionality. I can't completely discern between this one, and the vinturi (?) and the decanter bottle. They all seem to function. I can only attest that this one REALLY bubbles as you pour, so it's visibly aerating. Really, really happy with it - and obviously the price is great.

I had a glass version and broke a couple of them. In a pinch to replace them I bought these as a quick replacement for not a lot of money until I had time to find a good replacement. I am pleasantly surprised by how well these work and they get the job done as well, if not better than what I was useing. They look more like a pouring spout but they really open the wine up. You do have to turn the bottle upside down to get the full effect as with any type of product like this.

Honestly, I can't tell if this works. My partner and guests swear they can tell the difference in taste, but I can't. But it's so much FUN to use! Just watching the bubbles as you pour the wine makes everyone smile and when people are happy things may taste better, who knows ;) Ease of cleaning it is a plus and at this price there's nothing to lose.

We've had this one well over a year now. Use it with every red we open. I did not expect it to work as well as it does. Early on I preformed and accidental blind taste test. I had opened a bottle and got out glasses for my wife and I. I forgot that we had gotten this until after I had poured the first glass. So I used it only on the second glass. I felt I could taste a difference. I called my wife in and didn't tell her what I was testing. I just told her to try some from each glass. She liked the one that had gone through the aerator better. It also cleans up very easy.

My wife and I have learned that aerating really does improve the taste of wine. We have purchased grooved aerator wine glasses that allow the user to swirl the liquid, we have used an aerator to pour the liquid through and now use this easy to install and remove AeraWine Infusion Spirit and Wine Aerator to aerate our red wine. The thing I like best about this aerator is that it is quick, easy to use and never messy. Unlike using aerators that result in wine on the counter or glass stems when moving the device from one glass to another or returning it to the stand that holds it upright, the AeraWine Aerator can be left in place until the bottle is empty, eliminating the mess and is easy to wash. Have you ever bought a bottle of wine and felt like there was too big of a gap between taste and the amount you paid for it, but did not want the hassle of returning it to the store? We have. In those cases, we used to just use it for cooking; however, we have discovered that aeration is often the solution. I was surprised to learn that people also use this device on hard liquor; however, I have never tried that because wine is our beverage of choice when it comes to alcohol. If you like wine and have never aerated it before or if you have, but do not want to put up with the mess, this is an inexpensive choice that I bet you will be happy with. Enjoy!

I had the Vinturi one before that you hold over glass and pour wine through, and it worked well, or so I thought until I bought this simple beauty! Advantages of this one vs. others: -WORKS!! Tip bottle more vertical to super-aerate reds, tip bottle less (almost horizontal) to barely aerate whites, or liquors.. This little marvel aerates (I would guess) 10X more than the Vinturi model, which is twice as $$, a hassle to use, and takes up a ton of space in cupboard. Reds looks carbonated coming out of spout, so much air is mixed in...which "opens" reds wonderfully, making a less expensive wine taste much better immediately. And a good red taste great. -Takes up almost no space in drawer. -Crazy easy to clean. Can't rave enough about it. I bought 3 more for gifts, and everyone LOVES it.
