• ImpressArt's brass 1 pound metal stamping hammer was designed for metal stamping. With a smaller, scaled down grip, it provides easy handling and precision striking. The 1 pound head and grooved grip aids in striking metal stamps with the right amount of force, every single time. This hammer is great for the beginner and intermediate stamper. Also works well with flattening wire for jewelry making.
  • The brass head helps to extend the life of your metal stamps by reducing wear and tear throughout each hand stamping project. The sturdy and grooved grip allows for maximum force, precision strikes. The head is firmly attached to the handle. Please note that brass hammers may flake when striking however, this prolongs the life of the stamp by taking the most of the hammer blow!
  • Scaled down grip and 1 pound brass head ensures that every strike is accurate, resulting in a professional jewelry or leather DIY project. Brass heads are better than steel heads for metal stamping because brass evenly disperses the energy of the hit into the stamping blank. This prevents double impressions and also provides longevity to your stamps and steel punches.
  • Brass hammer head just under 1 pound in weight and the grip is roughly 7 inches long.
  • Back side of the hammer head can be used as a ball peen for metal shaping, forming, and texturing

I have been using this hammer since it arrived. I really like the weight, and the length of the handle makes it easy to use for metal punched jewelry.

Just what I needed for my craft room....been looking at them for a while and finally took the plunge...

I mean, let's be honest... what can really be wrong with a hammer? LOL. Bought this to use on my ImpressArt lowercase letter metal stamps. It did it's job and that's about all I have to say about that.

Don’t have to put too much effort in strength to hammer 🔨 metal very sturdy I recommended

Great size, ergonomics and weight for the small metal items my wife creates.

Works great! I use it for jewelry stamping. Works for me!

I've used this for quite some time now. Really planned on using it for stamping. Guess what? I've used it for everything I've needed to hammer 'especially for my disk cutter. I'm sure that because of the center of gravity it's really heavier than 1 pound.

This hammer fits my smaller hand well, and has a good heft to use with my stamping punches. Its smaller but weighty size enables me to get a clearer image when I use it as I have more control over it.

This is a great hammer that would be worthy for Thor! Very durable and way to handle. It’s sturdiness is felt in the weight of it! Definitely get some strong arms muscles working with it.

I did my research and this is the best of the best in stamping hammers. The brass head, being one pound in weight, and having the short ergonomic handle are what makes this hammer amazing. I have had no problems with using the hammer and my daughter even likes to use it. The VALUE of this item is wonderful, I have seen it in my local craft stores for 40$!
