I love this laptop cart!!
I love this laptop cart! I'm an elementary school teacher, and I bought this cart for my classroom. Many classrooms at our school have an interactive projector, and I'm lucky enough to be one of those classrooms. I struggled for a while to find the best way to manage my laptop and the multiple cords that dangled from the oddly placed outlet over the cabinet to my desk where my laptop usually sat. Later, I acquired a document camera, and while it's great having one, that was one more device and cord I had to manage in a not-so-spacious desk area. I knew I needed a better solution, and that's when I came on Amazon in search of the perfect laptop cart for my needs (because I'm clearly of the mindset that if Amazon doesn't have it, then it must not exist!). Well, sure enough, I found this little beauty, and IT IS PERFECT! It's made of solid materials, is very sturdy, has adjustable height, and its slim profile will fit just about anywhere. It offers great little storage spots for items you want at your fingertips, and one of the best features to satisfy my needs is the little shelf under the laptop tray...my document camera fits perfectly there, and a sheet of paper fits nicely between the bars on the shelf. The instructions were easy to follow, and I was able to assemble it by myself in about 2 hours, using the small screwdriver they included in the box. It would have gone much quicker if I had used my cordless power drill (which was at home, and I assembled it at school), because many of those screws were very difficult to drive through the solid pieces by hand. (Yes, our custodians later yelled at me for not asking them to borrow theirs.) I'm someone who bases my purchases highly on customer reviews, so I knew I had to write one for this product. I know I'm just one little person in the massive world of Amazon shoppers, and it's just one of many opinions you're looking at... but I have one more thing to mention that may be helpful for you to know. I lead a PD workshop in my classroom last week and had 23 other teachers asking me about my laptop cart, "oohing and ahhing" over it, and asking me where I got it and how much it was. Of course I enthusiastically shared with them that I got it on Amazon and it's totally worth the $58! I'm sure many of them will be buying their own now because they were able to see how awesome it is. In case you can't tell, I highly recommend this cart, and apparently 23 other teachers would too!

Best standing laptop stand in it's price range
I've tried a couple different laptop stands and never been happy - until I tried this one. It is more than tall enough for me (5'9") to use comfortably standing, and still have several more inches of height it could be raised. The double arm support of the laptop surface is stable, something the others I've tried (particularly single arm supports) just can't match. It is a relatively narrow base, so the entire unit does "wobble" a tiny bit, but for this price range I find that more than acceptable, and is far more stable than others in this range I've tried. A great bargain, and if you are looking for a standing laptop stand (I teach a night class, and stand the entire 4 hours of the class) you really won't find a better stand for the money than this one.

Very useful. Very solidly made.
I'm very happy with this. I'm not very good with mechanical stuff, but I was able to put this together easily with no rework. PROS: * Packaged very well. Tightly packed in box with LOTS of styrofoam and plastic foam to prevent movement during shipment. Each piece was also wrapped individually, which prevented scratches. * Every single piece is labeled so that you can easily find what the instructions are showing. I really appreciated not having to guess which piece the instructions showed! :) The labels remove easily without any scraping or scrubbing. They come away cleanly. * They included a screwdriver. However, as noted by others, I would definitely recommend using a power drill instead of the hand-held screw driver they include. * They included spare hardware! I didn't need it, but what a thoughtful gesture on the part of the manufacturer! * The assembled product is exactly as described. It does exactly what I hoped it would. * This is a sturdy pieces of furniture, especially considering the price. * The casters on the bottom roll easily on carpet, and I like that 2 of them lock. CONS: * Sometimes the top shelf, where you would put a laptop or speaker notes, tilts with only a minimum pressure. I would prefer that it locked into position rather than being infinitely adjustable, which seems to allow it to slip into an angle when I use just a little pressure while moving my equipment, rather than staying locked in place at the angle I wanted. This is not enough of a problem to take away a star.

Great for both a sitting and standing laptop desk
I started working from home, and found that I was sitting on the couch, often hunched over my laptop. I purchased this rolling cart, and I can move it around my house depending on where I feel like working. I can sit on my large exercise ball and use it as a sitting desk, or I can stand and use it as a standing desk, which makes it perfect. The top of the little cubby is great for holding my phones, and I can keep my headset and some documents/books in the cubby and lower area. The assembly was less than an hour, and it is easy to adjust the height up and down in just a few seconds. I can slide it over into a corner when I am not using it and it takes up barely any space. Highly recommend

VERY PRACTICAL
I use it to move my lap top to the exam rooms. Does the job perfect. NOW, about assembling: make sure you cut out the brown coating from the holes so you don't shove it inside when put the bolts in. Also, keep in mind that he large bolts that are already screwed in the parts are "twist and lock" mechanisms. Look with a flash light to make sure the hole is open and once you place the given part with the bolts in, screw them into the lock position. Otherwise, the bolts don't go all the way in, of course. It does take quite a while to assemble and definitely 2 people make the job much easier.

Techni Mobili Rolling Laptop Cart, Chocolate
I have been through several laptop carts and this one is the best. I was a little nervous about getting chocolate, as not sure exactly what the shade of brown would look like. Well, the color is exactly as seen, a very nice deep professional looking brown which fits my office well. The tilting top is very comfortable and the stop for the laptop so that it does not fall off has saved me a couple times. The storage is great, so that I have everything I need as I move from room to room.

Exceeded my expectations. Great product for a reasonable price.
I just read some negative reviews. I use mine to hold my laptop next to a standing desk that has my monitors, keyboards, etc. My impression, from the second that I opened the box, is that it's much higher quality than what I expected for the price. There are a lot of parts that need to be put together, but the instructions are clear. I don't move it around much, so I don't know how it holds up to wear and tear. I saw someone comment that the metal can be a problem if damaged. For my use, that hasn't been an issue. The one partially negative comment is that I don't think it's ideal if you need to often raise or lower it. You have to sort of shimmy it up and down and level it yourself before tightening. But this is a piece of furniture that costs only about $75. I wouldn't expect much else. I built it, moved it the home office, and it has been a welcome addition. I just now purchased a second one for a second laptop.

Just What We Were Looking For; Using As a Book Stand
This was the PERFECT solution for our home library. We wanted a relatively small, yet tall and sturdy Book Stand for reading/research in our home library. Something to use to take a book out of a bookcase, then be able to page through and find what information we're looking for, then return the book to the shelf. We'll also be using it to store books that need to be "re-filed" after reading. This was the IDEAL answer for us. The color is closest to a dark mahogany and blends perfectly with our bookcases. The footprint is small and it's easy to "wheel it" here or there within the room. I assembled it myself. If a spatially challenged English Major can do it, so can you! Just take your time, be sure to follow other reviewers' advice (leave all screws/parts in their plastic bags till you need them), and it pays to use a cordless drill to save your hands and save some time. I'm really impressed with this for the price; it's heavy, sturdy, and though a laminate, it looks close enough to real wood to be an augmentation to any office. Highly recommended! Have a question about this item? Leave a comment and I'll be happy to help you, if I can. P.S. One more point: this would be an EXCELLENT solution for Speakers who need a portable Lecturn. Just a thought, for what it's worth.

Very cute little standing desk
I looked at this for several years before buying because the price was continuously fluctuating. The price ranged from about $50-$75, and changed almost daily for no apparent reason. I use it as a standing desk for my laptop. I like how it looks, it was easy to assemble, and at $50 it is a good deal. It is made of pressboard with a plastic/vinyl coating, so it is easy to clean. The little storage area is very useful to hold my glasses, flash drives & extra batteries for the mouse. I added a clip on mouse tray because there is no room for a mouse with the laptop, and I prefer to use a mouse. It is adjustable, but I do not adjust it. I think the adjustability feature is a little awkward and not that easy to do by yourself. You really need another set of hands to get the height adjusted and be level because someone needs to hold the shelf in place while the other person tightens the knobs on both sides. Not a big set back though. Very happy with this purchase.

but that was almost as bad as the desk
I bought this little rolling laptop cart as an I needed a surface to place a third PC in my office. There was so little room on my desk that it ended up being a chore to move everything around so there was a spot to work on the third PC, then putting everything back when I was done. It also prohibited me from working on all three computers at work once since I had to move keyboards to get it all to fit. I started using a plant stand, but that was almost as bad as the desk. This rolling laptop cart was the solution. It was very easy to put together with clear and simple instructions. Everything lined up properly and fit correctly. The wheels have stops to keep it from moving around when I am working, but I can still wheel it around my office to wherever I need it. I can't tell you how nice it is to now just wheel this stand up, do my work, then wheel it back into its corner. The adjustable height and angle are also a nice feature so I can work on it comfortably when sitting in my desk chair or raise it to work standing up. The little knobs that loosen and tighten for the angle and height are a bit tight and a little difficult to operate, but that is a minor issue when compared with the benefits. The onboard storage is nice for notebooks and tech manuals or whatever else you may need. My only other complaint is the tan metal tubes on each side; they would look much better if black. And, the goofy little wooden knob looks off being such a light color, so I replaced it with a spare bronze cabinet knob I had and that vastly improves the overall appearance. If you need a little laptop cart, this one is sturdy and priced right.
