Loved the convenience of ordering medicated chick starter on Amazon instead of driving to the feed store. The chicks loved the food and they are healthy and strong on regular chick food.

As good or better than other chick feed that I have used.

I have been using this product with chicks for a few years. Got my first flock in the early 1970s. This feed is as good or better than anything that I have used with chicks. It is crucial to get early feeding right. The chicks like this food, and demonstrate good health and vigor. Being able to order from Amazon has been great. Our local grain store is only semi-reliable about chicken feed, so I like to have some coming from Amazon during chick season in case the local store is giving me their "the truck didn't come today" story. Manna Pro seems to be a good company. I have used some of their other products, and they have always been consistently good quality.

Great starter feed for baby chicks. The price is a little high but they need all the nutrients and they loved this feed.

Did my entire setup mail-order to start out. The 21 chicks (and one turkey) did very well with this as their food source. 2 bags was sufficient to get them to a decent size to transition to "big bird" feed. I did lose one chick when I switched off of this, so maybe the medication was doing more than I thought. Recommended. One of the bags was nicked and leaked some crumbles out, but that was a shipping problem and I'm not gonna ding them a star for that. The product is as presented.

Good condition

I was wary of ordering because a couple of the reviews stated theirs was expired and pulverized. Mine was in date and had the crumbles as described without any pulverized.

chick saver!

awesome! this medicated has saved the lives of so many chicks. I've bought some fancy chicks and they didn't look well, so I cleaned them up, made this food available to them, gave them 'city water' and their coccidiosis cleared up. it was a really close call for a few, but only one fell asleep forever (out of 67!), and it was looking pretty bad when I got it. if you want your chicks to be alive the next time you see them, you have to feed them medicated feed and this is the best I've come across. I feed it to my laying hens on occasion, too.

New Chick Meds

Great for new chicks that haven't been medicated yet. I always start mine out on this and then move them on to the high-protein regular chick starter food. I feel like it gives them a boost up.

High Quality in a Convenient Size

This seems to be excellent feed. Manna Pro has a solid reputation. What I love about it most, laughably I will grant, is the size of the bag. I'm a 63 year old woman and I don't want to wrestle a huge sack of feed! Right now I have 8 brooding babies and that's the most ever, so I don't need a lot either. I think this is perfect for the weakling backyard chicken mama!

Great food

I was really grateful amazon carries this. I don’t drive and my husband went out of town for business. I was going to run out of chick feed before he got back. Thankfully I was able to order it here and it arrived in time. I don’t have any issues with pasty butt or weak chicks with this brand. They eat it heartily.

good quality, good bag design

i had acquired baby chicks from a local school and i didnt have chick feed, only older chicken feed. I had this ordered and delivered same day! LOVE amazon. This was medicated started feed, exactly what I needed. The closest feed store was at least an hour away and it was worth it to me to pay a few extra dollars for same day delivery. Love the resealable bag, helps prevent spills, which this stuff makes a huge mess when spilled
