My passenger window decided to snap the cables in my original Regulator, so I ordered this to replace it, no regrets whatsoever. It took me about an hour to get the old one out, the new one in, and the window properly adjusted. It does run a little bit slower than the stock motor/regulator, but for the price of this, you can't beat it. Shipping was quick, packaging was good, and installation was super easy.

Great item the motor is a little loud. However, for the price you can buy 3 of these and still not spend as much as you would if you went to a local auto parts store. VERY easy to install also. Side not: I have a 2000 Silverado 1500.

This was a well built assembly. The motor was not a perfect factory match, but it was a high quality part. The install was easy but it required some adjustment to line up the glass correctly

This is really probably 4.5 stars, but for the value I'll round up to 5. I have replaced each side window regulator assembly on my 2000 truck TWO times each. It is really a crummy design where the cable rusts out. This is the first time I used a non-oem part, because I am tired of paying top dollar for the oem part that fails every 5 years or so. Two observations on this part: 1. On my 2000 Sierra, the original part had 2 weld studs as the bottom fasteners of the assembly. On this replacement part, the fasteners at these 2 locations is a weld nut. So I had to find 2 bolts to use that weren't used on the original parts. So you may have a trip to the hardware. 2. This replacement part does not run the window up and down as quickly as the original part did. I noticed it seemed slower so I timed it against the driver side (which is running an oem part) and it was about 2 seconds slower in each direction. Not a big deal to me, but I figured I'd mention it. After noticing this, I added some white lithium grease along the sheet metal track that the trolleys run up and down, and it didn't have a noticeable improvement.

Purchased for my 2006 Chevy Silverado after my original quit working. Easy install. I would note for Silverado owners, at least in regards to 2006, the motor on this Regulator is oriented horizontal, whist the original is oriented vertical. Not to worry, fits and operates just fine. In regards to up / down speed, seems to be the same as the original. So far so good, works well, no issues. Installation tips: block the window such that it is near or at full up position. Prior to installing new unit, loosen the 10mm bolts in the window keepers and open enough for glass to fit, because when regulator is in position it's very hard to get to them. (they come in the down position) Once installed with the 6 unit bolts in place and tight, remove your glass block and gently allow the window to come down and fit into the lift holder brackets, tighten finger tight, then partially install door panel and raise the window under power, as it comes up you can adjust the glass position so it stays in track. I found it had to be slid / tilted a bit. Once in good position tighten glass holder bolts and test up / down travel, re-adjust if required. (it took me 2 tries to get it right).

When you can find a part that is almost triple the cost less here, and not at the dealer, have it shipped and at your home in 2 days or less, what's there to complain about? From start to finish it literally took 20 minutes to replace the assembly. "included time to clean up the tape residue i had on the top of the door holding the window up"...... There were maybe 6 bolts that needed to be taken out and you raise/lower the window into the track, tighten it all up and put your panel on. THAT"S IT!. I like others, put my own white lithium grease on the track as i did notice a bit of hesitation but part of that was from the battery not being fulling charged but it will harm nothing to take that precaution to just put a quick coat on it.

My passenger side window had been dragging on my Silverado 1500. It decided to die, half open, while approaching a storm. That was great. This one came in on time. Seems nearly identical to the OEM part I removed. It did have better window clamps which I liked. No directions in the box, but they have them on here. I had never done this before and now I wonder why I didn't. This fit perfectly and was installed and running like new in 30 mins. Probably would be faster next time too! By the way, this was $120 (insane) at my local auto parts store. Saved me $85 and it works great. Don't forget to pick up some grease for the track. Mine seemed slick like they had put something maybe on it, but I still greased it with some brake grease.

Great buy!! I bought this for a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 passenger window. It fit perfectly and took only bout an hour to install. The only difference between this one and the OEM part I removed is at the bottom of the rails the OEM part has holes for bolts, and this part has studs. It still works great and they include bolts for the studs in the package. Has been installed for a week and continues to work well.

This is very easy to install. Roll the window all the way up. Tape up the window prior to removing the old window regulator. Remove the 6 bolts holding the old regulator and loosen the two regulator clamp bolts holding the front and rear portion of the window. Remove the old regulator and position the new regulator in the door and hold the braces in place by screwing the 6 bolts into the door frame and tighten. Loosen the two clamp bolts for the forward and rear window clamps. Temporarily connect the window switch and slowly roll up the regulator clamps to just below the bottom of the window and position the regulator clamps so the bottom of the window rests on the bottom of the clamps then tighten. Put the door back together. There are NO instructions with the door regulator.

The part fit perfectly into its place. Took only minutes to install and was functional to operate like it was suppose to. Part arrived on time and was packaged well. Very happy with overall deal and would recommend it to any who is looking for a good product and service. Cheaper then the auto parts store with good quality materials and food service. Will use the same on other door when it goes out.
