VERY IMPRESSED WITH FUNCTIONS AND QUALITY!!
I needed a scope for my new AR build, but I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on my initial scope purchase. So, after reading reviews, I decided to try out the CVLIFE 3-9x40 scope. So far, its great. Mind you, I have not shot my rifle yet, so I don't know if it will stand up to the recoil of a .223/5.56, but here's to hoping it will. Installation was easy with the included mounting rings. I feel like the rings make the scope sit a bit high, but I think this will work well once I have backup iron sights installed. I can always swap out the rings for a lower profile if I wanted. The reticle is duplex style and comes in sharp. I tried to capture what it looks like as you peer through on my cell phone camera, but it looks way worse than it really is. The picture you see is at setting 3x and the target is 20 meters away. Before I installed the scope, I peered across the lake in my backyard on setting 9x and the image came in crystal clear. Overall, I am pleased with this investment and will update this review if anything ever changes. UPDATE: I finally got around to sighting this in at 100 yards with .223 ammo. I am VERY impressed. I was consistently shooting 3 round groups at 100 yards within 1 MOA. The sight adjustments weren't really 1/4" changes per click, but after you get over that, you can eventually dial in your cross-hairs. Even after 90 rounds of 55 grain .223, the scope held zero. I even got to test the water resistance as it was raining while I was zeroing. I was under a semi-permeable tarp and the scope was sprayed and dripped on quite a bit. No water made its way into the scope and the optics remained amazingly clear and sharp. This scope allowed me to hit a 12"x12" steel target set at 200 yards with ease. I am very happy with my purchase.

Good scope
Good scope, only problem is I want it for my air rifle and the mounts are for a proper rifle. You will need new mounts if you want to put it on an air rifle. I found the mounts for the air rifle on Amazon for about seven dollars if I remember right. The scope has a lens cover that is transparent so in a pinch you can shoot without removing the covers.

Very good scope
This is a very decent low cost scope. I mounted it on an AK47 on a lark, not sure if I really wanted a scope. I like the iron sights, but the scope adds more depth of targeting for old eyes. The scope mounts provided with the scope went right on and securely hold to a standard rail. No problem.

Happy 22 shooting
I mounted this scope to a Marlin 981t bolt action 22 rifle. I had to provide my own scope rings. The rings that come with the rifle are suitable for a picatinny rail. I needed rings that worked on the 3/8" dovetail found on many 22 rifles. The scope mounted up pretty easily. 1st shots were 2" left at 50 yards. Scope adjustments are 1/4" per click at 100 yards. At 50 yards, it took me 24 clicks to get my shots in the center, but they got there. Once dialed in, I was hitting center target easy on paper and a steel spinner. I haven't tested the scope in at 100 yards, but intend to soon. I really don't have anything negative to say about this scope so far.

Donβt let the price fool you!
For the price I was blown away by the clarity. Holds zero very well. I put it on my 10/22 and can drive tacks at 50 yards. I was so impressed I looked for other CVLife products and got a bipod. Feels just like my Harris and at a fraction of the cost. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a new scope.

So glad I purchased this scope!
You get more than what you pay for with this one; clear optics, holds zero like a rock, great detail at all magnifications. I bought this to replace a 4x32 on a .177 nitro pellet rifle, which was OK for shots at garden pests of 30-40 feet. This scope takes my rifle to a whole new level with its pin-point consistent accuracy, out to 30-40 YARDS. No longer have to wait for the 'cheap shots' up close. Now I can use my rifle at the distances it was designed to be shot at. The rings that came with the scope would not fit on my pellet rifle, and would have been too high anyway, but that's not why I bought the scope. The construction of this scope is solid, tight, precision, looks and works like a scope costing 10x more. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.

Finally a scope that stays attached.
Excellent scope for small game and varmints on and around my property. Easy to install and zero in at about 30 meters have fired about 200 pellets (.177) through the gun with no definable loss of accuracy or malfunction with scope mounts. A stable and accurate scope.

Improved Accuracy
I bought this air rifle scope to replace the one that came with the Beeman .22 pellet rifle. What a difference! I started at 15 yards to zero in on the bulls eye. I made about 10 shots while making small adjustments. I am now shooting at 25 yards and consistently getting incredibly tight groups of 3/8 to 1/2". I am going to purchase another for a .177 Umarex. All my shots are off a bench and sandbagged. If there is a better air rifle scope available at this price point, I haven't seen it. It comes with 3/8" mounts that clamp to the top grooves. Don't forget to use a small drop of blue Loctite, to prevent the screws loosening from vibration.
