Useful home solution for bottle sterilization
Our family uses this sterilizer instead of the bag type sterilizers because of its size and durability. Fits both Philips Bottles as well as Medela Bottles. Tall Dr. Brown's bottles don't fit as neatly. Overall good product if you don't trust or don't have a dishwasher for this sterilization function.

Not just for Avent
I use this to sterilize my Como Tomo bottles, my Medela nipple shields, pacifiers and breast pump parts. It works fine and makes sterilizing quick and easy.

Works well and fast
I'm not sure this is a "must have" for pumping/bottle feeding moms but it sure is handy! I just throw all my pumping equipment, bottles, pacifiers in and within 2 mins they're completely sterilized. Definitely beats washing by hand and is a huge time saver when every moment counts as a screaming infant is nearby. Only negative is that the contraption is a little large (takes up entire microwave) so storing away can be a bit of a pain.

Be careful!
This is great for a quick sterilization if I don't want to run the dishwasher. Follow the directions! I burned my fingers the first time because I didn't wait to open the lid.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST
Purchased this and regret absolutely nothing. Affordable, easy to use, easy to clean, durable, portable, and can easily be stored. Works flawlessly. Wash your bottles, etc., add 7 fl oz of water, close and start it in the microwave. How long depends on your microwave, we go 4 minutes. This sterilizer doesn’t even have to try. I would recommend this to everyone. If time travel was possible, I would go back in time just to tell my grandma to get this. I’d tell my mom. I’d go on Oprah and market the product so hard she would be forced to give them away to everyone for free. Philips has never failed us so far. I believe it has a 2 year warranty. Treat it well and you’ll probably only have to replace it for hygiene reasons. Best on the market.

This is a must have for pumping moms. It's ...
This is a must have for pumping moms. It's so much easier than sterilizing your pump parts by hardboiling. You should sterilize by hardboiling your pump parts when you first get them of course. But after that first one, using the steamer is so much easier. I can fit all my pump parts, two 5 oz Medella bottles, and two 5 oz Comotomo bottles on the rack. It's just a matter of how you stack it. You can save a lot of space if you stack the Medella bottles over the nipple flange.

This definitely gets the job done and is a bang for your buck. We had received one for the baby shower that was $80 and within a month it broke when it started having a burnt smell. We decided to try this one with advise from a friend that went through the same thing...expensive one broke and the cheaper one has lasted longer

A must have!
I used this sterilizer for both of my kids (7 years apart). I had to repurchase with my second. There is no need to spend a lot of money on a sterilizer. This one does the job in about 2 minutes flat. I used this to sterilize all my Dr. Browns, Como Tomos, and Avent bottles and parts. All you have to do is add the recommended amount of water, secure the lid, stick it in the microwave and heat to the recommended time and voila! You have sterilized bottles! I use this everyday to sterilize the nipples and as odd as it sounds, I feel so accomplished once the sterilizer comes out of the microwave as it is so cathartic to have everything spic and span.

Looks Good to me!
So far so good. I actually fit 5 bottles, (3 are only 2oz since I have a newborn about 1 week old, the other 2 are like 5oz), in there and like someone else posted, the steam should reach eveywhere, so I overload it a bit past recommendations. I have no testing lab to ensure it's killing bacteria, but man those items come out hot. I also have all the nipples, nipple screw ring caps (the cap the nipples go into to be screwed onto the bottle), and a pacifier or two. It fits in my microwave beautifully. My microwave is 1100 watts so I have to leave it for 4 minutes (as per instruction) max power. I haven't been burnt and no items have been damaged so far. I'll update if anything changes.

A must have for bottle fed babies
I am a working mom and I pump twice at work for the babies next day feeding and me baby uses 3 to 4 bottles in a day. Sterilizing all the pump parts and the bottles in boiling water will almost take an hour. This steam sterilizer has made my life much easier. I just do two loads in this and the work is down under 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this for all bottle feeding moms.
