Got this for my daughter for Christmas and she loves it. She is 6 and it is perfect for her. A little challenging sometimes and easy at other times. We do these cards in the morning when she is eating breakfast and it seems to get her awake and ready for school.

Using these with our 4 year old for Kindergarten prep

Our son likes these. We make a game of it. Some are a bit simple for him but fun just the same. I was hoping for something I could do with him in the car while I am driving, but this is not it. The cards need to be read to the kids and they need to be able to see the pictures.

I highly recommend this product!

This is the 3rd one that I've purchased! I don't have children of my own, but spoil my friends' kids all the time! When it's time for something fun AND educational, THIS is the way to go!

Oh these are so fun as a family to engage us all. This younger version has more pictures than the older grade ones, I liked them better, so I read them all and found them compelling. With this set, you can ask your toddler to point things out while you play.

Just what I hoped for

I bought these cards for my 3 1/2 year old grandson and another set for his 4 year old twin cousins. They are just the right level for all 3 kids...some easy, some more challenging which is what I wanted. It enables them to be successful while still learning some new material. Since it is not a "game" with a start and finish, we can grab the cards and spend 5 minutes or half an hour depending on the situation (and attention span at the moment!). I will most certainly buy the higher age levels as they grow.

I Love Smarty Pants!

I love the smarty pants flash cards and so does my daughter. Great purchase for little ones who are eager to learn. The 1st grade pack is my third purchase of these, I've also used the pre-k and kindergarten editions, and I will continue to purchase them in the future. They really have put her ahead learning wise. Thanks Melissa & Doug for making such a wonderful and entertaining learning tool!

Five year old loves it!

We take this to restaurants and play it during dinner. It helps us talk and connect, and we all spend less time on technology when we should be spending time with each other. The questions and information are age-appropriate and a lot of fun. This is a great gift.

My kid actually likes them.

My kid doesn’t like to be tricked into something educational so I was skeptical of this set. It’s basiclaly just flash cards but they have it set up to make it fun. Some questions are easy, so it gives them confidence and willingness to play, then some are harder. Not all are question and answers, some have facts, some have little games ( like mad lib type). He played it and he seemed to enjoy it. He’s only in kindergarten but we’re going to play it all summer for 1st grade prep. If all goes well maybe we will but the next one up.

Great, fun way to get educate kids.

This is a great way to get your excited about learning. I bought this for my four year old daughter and she loves "playing." It's a game to her...and even if there's a question she doesn't know, it simply presents an opportunity for her to learn something new.
