Great little toy. My grandson has developmental delays, and at one year-old, is small for his age. Some toys with buttons are too hard for his tiny little fingers to push...but this little keyboard only requires a light touch. And yes, it is one piece of fabric and not individual keys, but that isn't an issue. I also like that it plays classical music as opposed to obnoxious nursery rhyme-type music.

I wanted a kick piano for my 4 month old but also something that would last a while. She was a bit to young at first but now she is 6 months and loves this. Minimal lights so it’s not obnoxious. I like that there are three modes(music, animals, and numbers) and three languagrs(English, French and Spanish). The music is nice and even my husband and I are learning Spanish and French. I think this will just get better as she get older teaching her more and more. Now she enjoys the lights

Fantastic purchase. I went back and bought another for upstairs. My daughter has loved this from a young age and still plays with it. She's just now getting to the point where she plays the keys, but before that simply loved to press on the instruments to hear the music. Very happy with this purchase.

We've had this toy for nearly a year. It's still one of our favorites. Most of the toys my children were playing with a year ago have been given away to make room for more developmentally challenging toys. But this one has lasting power. And it's durable. We accidentally left it in the backyard for 48 hours. It got rained on twice and still works! That inspired me to come and make a review. Highly recommend.

This is awesome. My LO goes bananas when he sees this and just pounds on it. So it is sturdy. Has classical music, can make your own music, animal sounds, different instruments, and goes through numbers. If this were to break, and I don't think it will, I'd purchase it again.

This is a really cute toy for a baby and my 6-month old grandson liked it. It is not too loud, and the music is classic pieces not nursery rhymes that really get on one's nerves if you listen to them for more than three minutes.

Excellent! One should not worry about the switches (which should be up to the adult anyway), just the cloth keyboard. This keyboard plays very well for self-entertainment, but not to compose or play individual notes, just to engage with melody notes from a piece of classical music (rather than adult-annoying kid songs). This piano actually seems to have been a replacement for an earlier Baby Einstein version which was pricier, had individual hard plastic keys, was heavier, more expensive, and broke sooner with a kid who drops their toys a lot. We were concerned about the cloth part because we have a kid who puts everything in the mouth, but this does not seem to have been too much of a problem, except that the sticker on the hard part of the toy, at the top, above the 3 colored instrument lights, got mouthed, chewed, and eventually had to be taken off & the sticky residual cleaned. (By comparison, we once had a cute Vtech stuffed bear which had a hard center body - it was disgusting and unsanitary from mouthing after just a week and a half. We carefully washed and dried it and then gave it away.) We love this Baby Einstein piano! There have been many brands of toy pianos in our house, & the ones with individual hard keys will eventually have a key break off and then the toy is unsafe. No separate keys is actually a positive from a safety standpoint. Love that it has two volume settings too!

You can turn it off and switch louder or softer. If you love classical music, you will be humming along with this! There are lots of musical snippets stored in this little machine. The animal mode is entertaining too. It appears to be well made and the batteries last and last. After 6 months of daily use, it still hasn't made us adults go crazy...and Grandbaby adores it. Isn't that the best recommendation of all?

Thank you Amazon for the amazon deal! On Thanksgiving, I was debating on if it was worth it to try to face the crowds to get some Baby Einstein toys at a big discount. I know the door busters are always a gamble, since stores only stock a small amount of the items. I'm so glad I listened to my husband. He decided to check amazon's prices in an attempt to convince me to just stay home. Boy, was he right! I got all 3 door buster items I wanted bought directly from amazon. No fighting, standing in line for hours, and crossing my fingers, hoping I score one of the toys for Christmas. From now on, I may just stay home and shop all of the door busters from the comfort of my own home! Thank you so much amazon! You definitely earned my business on Thanksgiving Eve. Please continue this in the future. As for the toy, it's one of my little one's favorite toys. It has many different ways to play, has a volume controversial button (high and low) and speaks in 3 different languages. Another great toy from Baby Einstein!

Our first grandchild came to visit, and we had to scurry and find toys. This was one, and our 10 month old grandson loved it. He likes pushing buttons to make sound, so had a blast with this. He's too young to understand that the top buttons make it change to different animals, but he had fun stepping on the keys to make music. Even grandpa and dad pecked out a few simple tunes on the keyboard- fun when it was the cat's 'voice.' For variety, we'd change the language (English, French, and Spanish). The volume is blessedly low, and it will cut off by itself after a few minutes. The batteries lasted through 2 weeks of much use, and are still going. A good purchase!
