Came apart after 2.5 months

I bought this for my Sylvania DVD player as the cord that came with it is too short to reach the power port in my van. It worked great for 2.5 months. The other day I went to pull it out of the power port and the top stayed connected to the port while the rest came out. I attempted to remove it to reassemble but the small parts fell into parts unknown of my dashboard. I plan to order another one anyway because after much searching on Amazon- this appeared to be the only car charger I was sure would be long enough and work with our DVD player. UPDATE 10/7/13- I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement product free of charge. I am very happy with their customer service.

Exactly what we needed. We have a car DVD player that was not working. We weren’t sure if it was done for or if it was the power cable. We ordered this one which came quickly. Tried it that night and they are working again! Just in time for a LONG road trip.

Perfect Length DVD Power Cord

This cord exceeded my expectations. I didn't realize it would have a red light indicating it was working which was a definable plus. It was more than long enough to reach from the trunk area to the third row seating DVD player in my Ford Flex which makes my youngest grandson very happy. He now has a DVD player in the middle of the car and "all the way back there, Grandma" in the third row seat! The cord is of extremely good quality and works on my Sylvania DVD player.

Works just like the original Sony charger it replaced

Originally I was a bit concerned since this was third-party product and not a Sony product. Turns out this product works just fine in my Honda Pilot. If you have any worries about purchasing this product because it is not an original Sony brand, don't worry because it works great. No issues with my DVD player, no issues with my car. And the build quality is great, it's solid and the cord is conveniently long.
