Seriously, I NEVER leave reviews for products unless they're exceptionally outstanding! I had FINALLY run out of my Finish Powerball packets the day these arrived & actually had to use them to clean the remnants of what was left on the dishes their first time through. As much as I thought I was enjoying the Finish brand all this time, they simply don't even compare to these! AND, as other users suggested, I only had to use 1/2 the tablet & our dishes have NEVER been this clean & sparkly! I bought the smaller box just to try them first, but will be buying the larger box to get a YEARS worth of dishwasher tablets for like $32 soon. So beyond worth it! Thanks for such a great natural & biofriendly product Ecover!

Removed hard water stains caused by my last phosphate free dish detergent!! Always found that to be an issue with dish detergent made without phosphates. I'm lazy and sometimes forgot to rinse my dishes but ecover let's me be the lazy slob I was born to be and still cleans my dishes! Check pictures for comparison! Left cup washed with ecover and right cup washed with my old detergent, it's night and day difference.

Impressive. Very clean.

Saved me from almost buying a new dishwasher. I had been using Palmolive Eco for years, but our dishes just weren't coming out clean and it seemed to be getting worse. Silverware was a huge issue and I found myself handwashing silverware after putting them through a heavy cleaning cycle on our dishwasher, which is a bit older. I thought we were going to have to replace our dishwasher but I really didn't want to spend the money, so I thought I would try a new detergent first. I needed a septic safe one, which ecover is. Night and day difference for us. My husband thanked me even. Dishes are coming out wonderfully clean. I saw mention in a few reviews of a film, but I have not experienced that at all. My silverware always come out clean now. My glassware and plates are also squeaky clean. I am so grateful for this product and cannot see myself buying any other brand in the future because it has easily outperformed every brand I have ever used. We have "soft" water and not a well, so I cannot comment on its performance with well water. I highly recommend.

Let's try this subscription thing.

This is my first time buying a household supply on subscription. I will update as a subscription goes. The soap as a decent smell. It's not too perfumey, but it does permeate because the light bulbs I got (in the same shipment) smell just like the dishwashing powder, lol. I do like that there's minimum plastic in the packaging. Most of the packaging almost dishwashing containers are just full of plastic and it like totally negates the point of being eco-friendly when you got this PVC plastic wrapped around. So good one on Ecover. To be honest, ten bucks for 45 - that's a good deal. In my house, we run the dishwasher at least once (very rarely twice) a day. So, 45 is more than enough to cover us for the month. We might end up with extra with this subscription, because the box comes with 45 and there's at maximum (in any given month) of 31 days. So we'll see.

split the tablet in half!

Read it somewhere that you can use 1/2 a tablet and works perfectly fine... I was skeptical but tried it .. and it works even better, because I have no soapy residue. Been doing it for years. I get my kid to peel off the wrapper, cut the tablets in half, and store them in an empty jar. The work is well worth it since the box lasts twice as long.

AMAZING PRODUCT- so happy I gave these a chance.

This detergent is AMAZING!! I'm so happy I took the chance on these. I was skeptical if it would leave a residue like some of th reviewers said, but it didn't leave any residue at all and cleaned my dishes very well, they're crystal clear!!! - just like the chemical dish detergent gel cleans. (Ms. Myers also works- I got a package from Publix by they're more $$$ and leave a strong after smell on my dishes. So I prefer this brand instead.) These are a small condensed powder block.. leaves no after smell on my dishes either. I don't use any drying agents etc, only the dish detergent. I have a brand new whirlpool dishwasher- so I don't know if this is making a difference or not. But for this price it's definitely worth a try!

Love this product and the brand!

What's not to love about these? They produce the same results as Cascade or the Target Up & Up brands, which leave a slight residue on some of the top rack dishes (such as the bottoms of bowls and glassware) but all I do is add a splash of white vinegar to the prewash and it rinses that white milky stuff away. This is my second purchase of this brand of dish tabs and I've purchased several other products in this line. The scented tabs are nice and subtle and don't smell like poison and I don't mind the unscented ones either (the less mixing of the kitchen smells, the better). I really appreciate that the tablet packages are wrapped in recyclable plastic too! I just give them a quick swipe with my thumb under running water and set them aside to dry before adding them to my plastic bag recycles to drop off at my local grocer.

Best Dishwasher Tabs you can find!

I've used every dishwasher tab you can find in retail locations and online and I've been disappointed by all of them until I found the Ecover Automatic Dishwasher Soap Tablets. My dishes come out clean EVERY SINGLE TIME, I don't have to re-wash them a second time or pre-soak/clean them before I run the dishwasher. I originally choose to try these out because they are fragrance-free, which I'm allergic to fragrance and get migraines, hives, and asthma attacks. These save me a lot of unnecessary complications in my life and I will reorder them for as long as I can. My only complaint isn't really even a complaint. I wish I could order larger boxes. The boxes have 25 ct so if I do a load of dishes per day a box won't last me a month, I wish that I could order them in 50/100 counts but the packaging is minimal (and recyclable!) so it's not a hastle.

Life changing

I bought this because I was lazy and didn't feel like driving to Whole Foods and buying their $300 dishwashing, eco friendly, grass free, free range, no anti-biotics, no hormones, vegan, gluten free soap that my wife likes. Point is, this works great. I'm not a fan of washing dishes in the sink BEFORE putting them in the washer... why would I bother doing that? That's wasteful. To prove my point, I left a small amount of smeared egg residue on some plates and then some salad remnants and salad dressing on a glass bowl. Filled up the machine completely and when it was done, the glass bowl looked brand new and the plates looked unused and have a reflection now so I can see what a whipped and defeated being I've become.

Better than the Ecover Fragrance free tablets!

Previously i was purchasing the "Ecover Fragrance free" dishwasher tablets and I was not very satisfied with the results. The water is very hard in my place and after every dishwashing cycle, i saw white hard water stains on the vessels. Hence I tried changing to these Citrus tablets and I was really happy to see the results. Though the water is still hard, i did not see much stains on the vessels after each wash. I wash using the normal cycle and did not do heated dry. The dishes are coming out clean and good than the previous one. Thanks to the product. I will keep buying this one.
