Simple and most importantly, Affordable!

Like most people, we have a ton of wires and electronic devices throughout our house that needs to be plugged in and the average two wall outlets is never enough to fulfill our growing needs, especially in the smart home era. We normally purchase the Amazon Basics power strips, but found these GE ones for slightly cheaper and decided to pick them up. They came fully functioning and in packs of two. The power strips do not provide any special functions like emergency shut offs or power saving features, but what most important in all power strips is that it is grounded in case of electrical discharge. Our rating scale Design: 5/5 Utility: 5/5 Effectiveness: 5/5 Noticeable flaws: We can't find any noticeable flaws other than the fact that this strip is not a surge protector nor the light switch lights up when it turns on like other strips (which can make it difficult to figure out whether the strip is on or not unless you turn it on). Other than that, this strip does what it was built for. Our answers to the frequently asked questions: How many Joules is this? This power strip is not a surge protector and does not provide a maximum voltage to protect your electronics. We recommend plugging small items and nothing too large like an AC unit, refrigerator, or even a desktop for an extended amount of time. Do these have 2 or 3 prongs? They all come in three prongs. Is the on/off switch lighted? No, the on and off switch comes in a dark red color and does not light like other switches which can be difficult to tell if the power strip is on or not. Overall, a great buy if you can get them up on sale. We would recommend picking one up if you need to plug in all those electronic devices that you laying around your house or office. Great power strips! Long enough to meet your needs!

Durable. Good quality. GE. Our quilting group bought five of these bad boys and they are sewing to their heart's content. Remember with cords as in life you reap what you sew! Get it? Nevermind.

Good value

You really can't beat the price for 2 of these. The cord really is shorter than I was prepared for, but it's in the ad. I probably wouldn't do that again, but that's on me.

Good, Basic Surge Protectors for General Use

This 2-pack is the way to go! Decent quality, affordable brand-name surge protectors. I wouldn't use these for high-dollar electronics, but for casual uses, these are fine. The outlet layout was convenient for placing video camera adapters next to each other in a row. Not so great if you have larger adapter housings, though. All in all, recommended!

Perfect for what we needed

Of course it's Christmas time lol who doesn't need more outlets haha. We got these so we could connect them into our WeMo plugs and schedule them and control our Christmas lights with Alexa. Just needed something fast and cheap so these did the trick. Exactly what I wanted

I wanted just a simple power strip so that I could plug my microwave and toaster oven into it and be able to turn the power off to both of them without having to plug them in and un plug them behind the cart that I keep them on. I did not want the surg protection feature so this is perfect! There are two so SCORE!

I need a wall-mountable outlet with a short cord and these fit the bill. They have keyholes to fit onto screws and work as expected. Also, great price.

These work well. I have like 4 things plugged into one and there's no signs of it over heating or starting a fire or anything. Definitely worth it.
