- Medium size fits babies from 13 lbs. up to 18.5 lbs., approximately 3-6 months. The Swaddle UP 50/50 Transition Bag Designer is 1.0 TOG. All seams are sewn on the outside and the zipper is protected so there is nothing rough against baby’s skin.

- When your baby shows signs of rolling over, it’s very important for safety reasons to transition them out of being swaddled. Their hands need to be free to reposition themselves when they roll over so they can push up off the mattress.
- Most babies really love being swaddled, so transitioning them out of swaddling is usually a real challenge as it is a change to their sleep routine.
- The Patented Zip-Off wings on the Swaddle UP 50/50 Transition Bag helps make this transition gentle and uneventful. We recommend transitioning both at naps and bed time to ease baby into this new sleep routine.

Definitely try it!
Try this swaddle! This one works differently than the others. I didn’t realize it was significantly different than the Woombie (where there are no wings for hands so baby’s hands are free to move around by chest) but it is. In the Love to Dream swaddle baby’s hands and arms rest in the little wings where they are up by their face but still with limited range of motion. It Is a comfort to my baby to be able to feel something next to her face- her own hands. Added bonus to babe (and caregivers) is that they’re in a more natural hugging position if you’re rocking them to sleep against your chest. Bottom line: this may not work for your baby but it’s different enough that you definitely should try it. For new moms, I recommend trying all the different kinds and seeing what works for your baby. FYI the one I ordered from Amazon appeared dingy even brand new (see photo) which I only noticed after buying another one somewhere else.

Take all my money
Baby loves this so much. We were using swaddleme Velcro swaddles which she loved until she became able to get her arms out. Then all she would do is fight it but she still needed some startle suppression. This she loves since she can have her arms by her face. She sleeps really well and even when she starts to wake up to eat she keeps falling back asleep since she's so comfy. After two nights ordering another medium and 2 larges for when she gets bigger. For size reference she is 11 pounds but the medium fits since it is made snug (it is very stretchy so hopefully it really does fit to 18 pounds per the chart). I checked to make sure the neck was not too loose as the company recommends not sizing up for that reason. I wanted to get the transition one though since she is almost 3 months so medium was the smallest available. Little tip if you get coupons for Bed Bath and Beyond/Buy Buy Baby you can get these from there!

Seriously amazing.
Literally the best thing I have ever purchased. I want to buy these for every new mom. My three monther moves constantly in his sleep and kept waking himself up every time he "starteld" awake. Swaddle up helps him feel secure while being able to have his arms somewhat free. He HATED being swaddled the normal way. He started sleeping 5 hours at a time once we put him in this thing. Now sleeps 7 hours, eats, then back to bed for three. It's goofy as ever, but man does it work. He can still find comfort putting his "wing" in his mouth when he is upset but keeps him from scratching his face and startling awake. We use it for every nap as well. As soon as he's in it, he knows it's time for sleep. BUY IT. For size advice: when purchased, my son was two months old, weighed around 11.5 lbs and was 24in long. He wore a medium no problem. Will have to purchase a large soon and he's only 13+ pounds and 25 inches now at three months.

Better nighttime feedings and back to sleep than other swaddles for our 3 month old
With our first 2 kids, we used the Halo swaddles and loved them for transitions (one arm, arms out, etc.). We still used those for our 3rd, but we also felt like our transitions could be smoother and nighttime feedings could be quicker. Enter: Love To DreamSwaddle UP 50/50. It didn't immediately impact when he'd wake up to eat, but it DID immediately impact how easy it was for him to fall back asleep, which means I was able to go back to sleep much sooner (money in the mom bank, if you ask me!). I didn't have to unwrap him to let his arms out when I fed him and then rewrap him when he was done. It is as quick as pick him up, nurse him, lay him back down. (He is 12 weeks old.) We haven't unzipped the arms at all yet, but I anticipate this feature will be an added benefit because we'll be able to transition much like we did with the Halo swaddles.

Wow!!
I didn't know this would make such a difference. My baby is 2 1/2 months and has been waking every few hours and I've been SO tired. We've had this sleep sac 2 nights now and I'm so impressed! The first night he only woke once during the night and then last night he slept from 11-6! I couldn't believe it. He feels so snuggled and his arms are contained so he's not startling himself awake- he's sleeping peacefully! I love this purchase and recommend it!! **Update: we've now been using it over a week and call it the miracle sack. It may not work for every baby, but for our baby it's dramatically improved his sleep to where he wakes up only once or even has slept 6-7 hours a couple times.

Utilizing the 50/50 made transition from the Original Love to Dream simple and smooth with no cries or disruption in sleep.
I am completely in love with Love to Dream products. I love the 50/50 swaddle. It made the transition process MUCH easier than going from a traditional swaddle to a sleep sack. I wish I had this products when I had my twins nine years ago. I did use the Original with my now seven month old and currently use this product. The transition was much smoother with this baby than with the twins when we went from a traditional swaddle with arms down to arms free. My son transitions from the Original to the 50/50 within three days -- and I bet he would have done it in two nights if I would have pushed it; however I wanted to take my time. The materials of the swaddle is light which is great because I am not concerned about overheating. I love how after you transition your baby from the original to the 50/50 that you can still USE the product as a sleep sack. It's a great investment. I recommend to all friends and pregnant moms. This is one product I truly believe made my life and my baby's much easier.

And we're sleeping through the night!
I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but knowing how much you need recommendations with an infant, I opted to help the hive out. This product has been fantastic for us and our 3 month old. She was consistently busting out of her swaddles (so strong!) and would wake up screaming because the blanket was covering her face. We tried the sleep sacks, but she wasn't ready to have her arms out as her startle reflex is still going. The Swaddle UP is great because she can keep her arms near her chest (she also hated having them down by her sides) and this even allows her to put her arms up above her head - which is her most favorite and angelic sleeping pose. It keeps her startle at bay since the material is taut enough. She slept through the night for the first time in her own room after the third night in this. And for any parent - we know that's always worth the money. Even though we haven't gotten there yet, love that you can remove the "wings" one at a time - like if she finds her thumb/fingers and needs to self soothe. And we won't have spent the money on a product that's only useful for, say, a month. Once she starts rolling over we can remove both wings and it's just another sleep sack.

Amazing
If your little one loves to be swaddled, but also loves their hands, then you need to get this. My baby was sleeping through the night (only if swaddled) from 4 weeks old, and discovered his hands around 8 weeks old. Around 10 weeks old he went from sleeping 12 hours a night, to waking himself up every 3 hours fighting to get out of the swaddle. I tried leaving one arm out, but he was hitting himself in the face and waking himself up again. Enter the Love To Dream Swaddle Up! The fabric is so soft and lightweight which is perfect for the warmer spring weather. This swaddle allows my little one to chew on his fists and self soothe, while offering enough resistance so that he doesn’t hit his face and wake himself up. I love the fact that you can take off the wings, I wash them every other day as they get pretty gross with all that drool. Way easier than washing the whole thing! It washes well, and dries super quick. I would recommend this to any new mother, and wish I had just used this as soon as my baby was born. For size reference, my little one is 3 months old, 14lbs, 24 inches long and still has a lot of room to grow. I got the medium

This worked great for our baby as a transition step between the ...
This worked great for our baby as a transition step between the Halo swaddle and a regular sleepsack. It kept her from startle-ing awake, but also allowed access to her hands to self-soothe. When she was close to rolling over, we followed suggestions to alternate arms out for a week or so, then used it as a sleep sack. It is lightweight jersey, which was fine for our summer baby, but maybe too cool in the winter. Preferred this to the Zipadee Zip because of the removable wings and also because it was closer fitting on the torso, more similar to the swaddles she was used to. Definitely recommend. Also, the weird hole on the back - - it took us awhile to figure out, but it is so that you can use the swaddle in a carseat or swing. Thread the crotch buckle through the hole and unzip the swaddle from the bottom to fasten the straps.

Calm at last!
INSTANT peace! I wish I had known about this swaddle 3 months ago. My baby girl hated being swaddled with her arms down since the beginning but we kept her swaddled that way anyways because once she was asleep, she would sleep better than without it. But she always fussed and cried and hated it when we put her in. Enter this arms up swaddle! I randomly found this and ordered one right away. When it got delivered my daughter was just in the middle of a tired but fighting the swaddle episode so I unpacked it with one hand while holding her in the other lol, zipped her in and SHE IMMEDIATELY CALMED DOWN!!! I picked her relaxed self up, she let out the biggest burp, nursed some more, then spent a while cooing and smiling (pictures above :) ) and then I rocked her to sleep in my arms with no screaming at all! She didn't even wake up when I set her down to cook food and she stayed asleep for a much longer time than normally! Yay!! :) Thank you love to dream :) I will be buying a couple more to rotate because now that she can get her hands to her mouth, the fabric gets wet hahaha. So cute :)
